Babysitter For Rain

Babysitter For Rain
Extra Story: Part 3

Already the umpteenth time, Marius glanced at his phone that was on stand by. Every now and then she taps her phone to turn on to make sure that it is still working.

He was unable to focus on the explanation Lucas was currently standing before him. The report file he held with his left hand seemed to be meaningless. In fact, Lucas was summarizing the report by passing it to Marius verbally.

Today, Ana starts moving into her home. Marius had already prepared a room for her after she agreed to Doni's idea without knowing whether Ana would believe their lies or not. He even hired someone to design the room to suit Ana's wishes.

Marius had already asked Doni a lot about what Ana liked, how her room she usually occupied, what kind of room Ana wanted, but still, she was still worried.

"So what's the next plan?" asked Lucas.

Marius was surprised by Lucas' question. He immediately looked at the report he had in hand, reading it for a while.

"It's good, just go ahead," he said.

"You still hold that report? I just finished reporting on the yellow map."

"Oh, yes. I'll look at it for a second." Marius immediately looked for the yellow map that Lucas meant. "No yellow map."

"There is none. I'm just kidding" Lucas replied, smiling without feeling guilty.

Marius immediately glared at him. Lucas' smile grew wider.

Lucas took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.

"It should be me who's angry. But because I still remember my home installments are still 2 years away, I choose to be patient," Lucas said again, then showed off his forced smile.

Marius did not touch him. He threw his pen on the table. "It's your own fault. Why not just stay home?"

"You already know. I dreamt of having my own house."

"Just call him. Ask him if he likes his room or not" Lucas said as if he knew what Marius was thinking.

Marius was silent. He had already asked Ana to contact him if she needed anything or wanted to ask him something. If until now Ana has not contacted him, does that mean she likes her room? Is that true?

Marius hesitated. He thought back to the possibility of Ana not being at home. Disappointment arose in his heart.

"Aargh .. I just called."

Lucas is losing his patience. He could not bear the look on Marius' face that changed every 15 seconds. Pleased, disappointed, anxious, then disappointed.

"For a long time DYNE CEO can go crazy if it goes on like this" he said.

He took his cell phone, and started looking for a name in his contact list.

"What are you doing?" asked Marius in astonishment.

"Call David. Ah, no, no ... Eli is better."

Marius got up from his seat and grabbed Lucas' phone. He glared at Lucas again.

"Do you want me to move it to the general section or cut the pay?"

Lucas laughed to cover up the panic. Slowly he pulled his phone back.

"... Ahahaha ... It's noon, yeah. I have to get to the airport before I miss my flight" Lucas said, leaving Marius' office.

In the end, Marius did nothing. For a few days she still thought it was likely that Ana did not like her room. But the next few days he calmed down, seeing Ana and Rain look happy together.
