CHAPTER 79

Ana was asleep when she suddenly felt a soft touch on her face. He slowly opened his eyes, and he saw Marius sitting next to him.

Ana looked around, saw that she was beside Rain's bed. He then remembered that he had just fallen asleep when Rain had also fallen asleep earlier.

"Did I wake you?" whispered Marius.

Ana shook her head. "I haven't been asleep for long."

"Go back to sleep. I'll keep watch here. Rain has also improved, Noel said. There shouldn't be anything" Marius said.

But Ana ignores Marius' request. He stood up from his seat and asked Marius to come out.

"Naomi was here with food, we ate outside. Rain had also just taken medicine, he would definitely fall asleep a long time ago. There's a waitress here and a bodyguard out there anyway. They're gonna call us, right?" whispered Ana.

"Yes. If so, I'll take you somewhere" Marius said, smilingly looking at Ana.

"Aren't you cold?" asked Marius.

Ana shook her head. He then leaned it on Marius.

"It feels like a dream, huh?" he said.

"Dream?" asked Marius.

"Ehm .. a few days ago, I kept crying over Rain. But now, I was thinking instead of what I would do after this with her. It was like a ... dream," Ana said.

"Now ... I'm afraid of waking up ..."

Marius clenched his arms, kissed his hair, then leaned his head against Ana's head.

"Dreams don't starve you. I'm really hungry, Ana ...," said Marius.

Ana immediately turned to look at Marius and laughed. Marius was right, their purpose was to come here to eat. But Ana was even preoccupied with enjoying the view. He repeatedly apologized to Marius as he pulled the man's hand towards the table where Marius had placed their food.

Nora is also the one who causes Rain to be hospitalized, and Valerie is getting away from Rain. She was worried that Nora would do something else after this. Nora even made Ana become so fragile when separated from Rain . Now .... What else will he do?

The laughter that had been painted on Ana's face now slowly disappeared.

"Since I knew Nora was causing all the trouble for Rain, I've hated her. And then yesterday, I hated it even more. I wanted to punish him so badly" Ana said furiously.

Ana breathed a long enough. "I think Rain's still better than me at this"

"Do something? What is it?" said Ana. He was quite surprised by Marius' request.

Ana's face suddenly flushed red because of it.

"You knew? I've never heard you say it" said Marius again.

"I-I, I ..." Ana turns her face away, avoiding her eyes meeting Marius's.

"... a-I've done it ...," Ana said. His voice became even slower. "... when you ... sleep ..."

"That can't count, Ana," protested Marius. "I didn't hear it."

"Of course it's in, Marius. W-w-wrong you yourself you didn't hear it," argued Ana who didn't want to lose.

Marius drew himself closer to Ana. It was so close that she was sure Ana would be able to hear her voice.

"Because I'm sure, I won't be satisfied if it's just once" whispered Marius with his deep voice right in Ana's ear.

Ana's face is getting hotter. The redness on his face made him believe he was increasingly similar to a tomato. Ana wanted to cover it with both hands, but Marius held it very tightly. As soon as Ana moved, Marius immediately held her back while laughing teasing her.

The night, the air gets colder. Marius could also feel both of Ana's hands she was holding shivering from it. He blew the two hands, then rubbed them, giving the two a warm feeling. Only then did Marius bring her back.

"Ana ...," called Marius as they approached Rain's nursery.

Ana turned to face Marius. Just at that moment, Marius brought himself closer to Ana, then grabbed her face and kissed her lips gently. Very mellow.

Ana was surprised at first, but then she was made to sink into that tenderness. Marius could always make him lulled by it.

"Please promise me" he whispered."No matter what happens, you'll still believe me."

Ana looked back at Marius' eyes which were also looking at her with love. Marius looked at her as if he was afraid of losing Ana. I don't know what Marius's gonna do until he looks so worried. But Ana wanted to believe him. Therefore, Ana nodded her head.

"I love you, Ana. Love you so much."

Ana is again drowned by Marius because of her words.

Just as Ana was about to return Marius' expression of feelings, the man smothered her again with his lips. This time, it was deeper and deeper that made Ana sink even deeper.

But somehow, Ana was not afraid. Because she knew, Marius was holding her in his arms.
