CHAPTER 42

"Sir Ana, look ... see ..."

Rain shouted quite loudly pointing at a counter selling gulali. Drawn Ana's hand towards the counter.

"Rain wants to?," asked Ana, and Rain nodded her head many times.

After counter one, Rain and Ana move to another counter. From one store to another. Rain and Ana really enjoyed their sightseeing time at the mall today.

This morning, Ana asked Marius for permission to finish work earlier today. So he can pick up Rain at school and take her for a walk. Marius allowed it, only he gave the conditions.

"Bring this up" Marius said as he gave his black card.

"For what? I have the money" Ana refused.

"Bring it up and use it to buy whatever you like. Don't worry about anything" Marius said, forcing Ana to accept the card. He grabs Ana's hand and puts the card in the girl's hand.

Ana opens her mouth, but Marius doesn't give Ana a chance to talk.

"Bring, or don't go" Marius said as he left Ana and continued his work.

Ana's lips pursed instantly. "Don't settle when your money runs out" Ana said annoyedly.

"Take it if you can" Marius said with a sinister smile.

"Based on the arrogant rich man!," Ana murmured as she left Marius.

Marius heard the murmur. He just smiled in response.

And, it's been almost 2 hours Ana and Rain explore the mall with David and 3 other bodyguards. At the time when Rain's energy was still not depleted, Ana saw that the 4 bodyguards had started to wear out. Finally, Ana persuades Rain to stop by for a rest at a restaurant.

"You guys order too, yeah. Any messages you like, expensive ones are okay too. Marius's the deal," Ana said. Of course, David and the three bodyguards happily accepted it.

"And he said tell me to wear it. It shouldn't be a problem" Ana thought with her evil smile.

Ana and Rain were enjoying their lunch when suddenly a foreign man came over to her. The ever-vigilant David instantly got up from his seat and held the man's arm back. The other bodyguards stood up and swarmed David and the man.

"Oh, ouch, sick, sick ...," cried the man.

Ana is worried that the man will hurt Rain, and stands up to Rain.

"Relax ... calm down .. I just need to talk to this lady for a moment," the man said as he endured the pain.

"Miss Ana knows him?" asked David, whom Ana answered with a bundle of her head.

David further tightened the man's wrist which was followed by the man's groan because of his pain.

"Bw ... I-I'm talent scout ... A-aw .. a-I show you my k-card, yeah."

With the other hand, the man slowly reached into the pocket behind his suit and pulled out a card. One of the bodyguards took the card from the man's hand, then showed it to David. After David sees her, he signs his partner to hand the card to Ana.

"ANDERS Entertainment?," said Ana reading the contents in the business card.

"Really! N-my name's Ted. I-I'm from ANDERS Entertainment."

David let go of his grip, and Ted, the man immediately stretched his arm muscles to relieve the pain.

"What do you want?," asked David who had still not left Ana and Rain, as well as the other bodyguards.

"I see this lady is very beautiful. What if I joined ANDERS?" said Ted after he finished tidying up his clothes that were a little messy because of the action of David earlier.

"Huh? S-me? M-sorry, I'm not interested," Ana declined.

Ted was intending to get closer to Ana, but David stopped him immediately. David motioned for Ted to step down.

As soon as Ted left, Ana immediately checked the condition of Rain who had been behind him.

"Rain must be shocked, huh? Sorry, yes," said Ana who was hugging Rain.

After the incident, Rain still took Ana for a walk. Ana was relieved, as the incident did not affect Rain.

Ana and Rain were walking around hand in hand, when suddenly, Ana's phone rang. Rain watched Ana who was chatting with her phone which she soon closed.

"It turned out to be a misalignment," said Ana smiling at Rain who was looking at her.

As he was about to continue his journey back, the boy suddenly stopped instantly. His hand became very tight. Ana looked at Rain whose face was now turning pale.

Ana crouched down looking at Rain with a worried face. "Rain, what's up, baby? You see what?" asked Ana.

Suddenly, Rain lowered her body and hid behind Ana's body. Such rain added to Ana's worry. He hugged the little girl whose body was now trembling.

Ana turned her head to see what Rain actually saw. And, seen by the figure of a woman who walked with accompanied by some of her bodyguards.

"Nora?" whispered Ana.

Although from a distance, Ana can see, the woman is Nora, the maid she once met at Marius' house before she found Rain hiding and crying.

Nora didn't see them. Nora's entourage continued to walk straight ahead without noticing Ana and her entourage. Ana as much as possible did not show her face so as not to attract their attention.

Ana held Rain and hugged her tightly. He rubbed Rain's back to calm the little girl down.

"Sshh .. already, already ... nothing. There's Ana here, yeah."

Seeing such a situation, Ana decided to return.

In the car, Rain finally falls asleep in Ana's arms. He rubbed Rain's forehead that was soaked in his own sweat, then kissed her.

"What happened to Nora? Why was he so afraid to see her," Ana thought worriedly.

Then, he suddenly remembered something. Marius asked him to go to Lorenzo Vins after his return from the mall. But seeing Rain like this, Ana thought they better just go home.

"David, we go straight home, yeah. Please lend me your HP to contact Marius. My HP is in the bag. It's hard to take," Ana said.

David immediately did Ana's orders.

While Ana and Rain were walking through the mall, a man observed her from a distance. He followed Ana and Rain's entourage with his guards from behind with small steps. He didn't want those bodyguards to hurt his arm again like before. Yeah, that guy is Ted.

"It seems like it will be difficult to approach" said the bald man next to him.

"Borrow your HP" Ted said.

The bald man gave me his cell phone. Ted took the phone roughly. He then took the paper in his pocket, and pressed the number button as it was written on the paper.

"Hello, good afternoon," said Ted as he watched Ana pick up her phone.

"Can I talk to Ms Fani? ... Oh, wrong connection? Sorry yes."

Ted then decides on his call.

"Yes, Boss. Appointed, Boss."

Ted showed off his cynical smile while continuing to pay attention to Ana. This time, he no longer followed her. His steps came to a halt, as he had already ascertained for himself what he wanted to know.

"We continue our plan."
