Babysitter For Rain

Babysitter For Rain
CHAPTER 46

"Good night, Miss Ana," greeted Ted with a smile that made Ana uncomfortable to see.

"W-you .... what do you want?," asked Ana who was shrouded in fear, but she tried to cover it up.

"Don't worry, Miss Ana. Your lover will come here to bring us what we want" replied Ted. Her index finger was deliberately played around Ana's face, but she never intended to touch it. Ana moved backwards avoiding that touch.

"Marius? She's not my lover. You got the wrong guy. You won't get anything from her" Ana snapped.

"really? But I'm sure he's got what we want" Ted replied cynically.

"What do you mean?"

"You'll see it later," Ted said with his cynical smile.

Ana still could not understand what they wanted from Marius. They even made him a hostage to threaten Marius.

"If it's about the money it shouldn't be me they're holding hostage" Ana thought.

Ted, who had walked away from Ana, took his cell phone out of his pocket. A few seconds later, Ted was connected to someone.

"Hello" said Ted in a very slow voice.

"So soon he will come ... Yeah, he'll take the kid ..."

"That kid?"

When Ana heard Ted mention the word 'the boy', she immediately thought of Rain.

"You mean Rain, right?" cried Ana

"Don't you hurt Rain! I'm going to beat you up!" cried the raging Ana.

Ted immediately gave his other partner a sign to hold Ana. He put his phone back in his pants pocket. Then approached Ana with a black masking tape.

"Look! I won't let you hurt Rain. You hear that?" cried Ana continuously.

But Ted didn't pay attention to it. He pulled the black masking tape he had in his hand, then tore it apart. As she was about to stick it to Ana's mouth, she screamed in pain because Ana had just bitten her wrist.

"Aaw ...," cried Ted in pain. With a reflex movement, Ted immediately slapped Ana to hit her head.

Ana, who was silent, was immediately silenced by Ted with black tape.

Ted's punch caused pain to his head. Ana closed both her eyes to endure the pain. But the pain did not go away either.

Perhaps due to the pain in her head, Ana began to hear a ringing sound in her ear. The sound was not very loud, but it felt like it was piercing his eardrum. At that moment, Ana saw something in her memory.

Ana sees herself with a boy. "Who?," Inner Ana.

A few seconds later, he saw the shadow of someone approaching him. It looked faint, but he heard the man say, "You'll be free if your parents give you what we want."

Ana's eyes opened with a sudden width. He could not help his surprise until it made his heart beat like the sound of a drum being sprinkled.

"What was that? Who are they?" cried Ana in her heart.

Just then, Ana heard someone shouting. "He's come."

"Why did he come? He shouldn't have come. Don't take Rain!."

"Prepare all!," ordered Ted, whose voice resonated to the end of the warehouse.

Shortly after, Ana saw from a distance the old barn gate open, and a tall male figure was standing in front of her. Ana was instantly able to recognize the tall figure even though it was a long distance away at the end there. "Marius ...," the inner Ana called out her name.

The sound of Marius' footsteps rang out to where Ana was. Along with that, Ana keeps on breaking free from the bond that holds her back. But, someone who was nearby continued to hold him back so as not to move much.

In the end, the sound of Marius' footsteps came to a halt right after he stood in front of Ted. Ana looked at Marius, she tried to rebel and make a sound again. With her head wrapped and eyes begging for her, Ana hoped that Marius would understand her point.

"No, Marius! Don't leave Rain to them!," cried Ana continuously despite her mouth being tightly shut.

"So, where is the boy, Mr Marius?," asked Ted to Marius to turn Marius' attention only to him.

"Take him off, and I'll give the boy up."

"Master must have thought I was a fool, right, Master Marius? I didn't see Master bringing it. Do you think I'm blind?"

"He was in the car. I'll give up the boy, if you let him go."

Ted smiled cynically at Marius' words. He feels he is being played. But, still, he ordered a subordinate to check.

Seeing that, Marius walked over to Ana without caring for Ted.

With his arms stretched out, Ted blocks Marius's steps. "What do you mean, Mr Marius?"

"Your men are checking my car. And I'll check it out. Isn't that fair?" asked Marius without any fear. He continued to walk without waiting for a response from Ted. Even Ted didn't stop him anymore. The man who was beside Ana earlier also now moved away from Ana.

Marius immediately removed the black tape from Ana's mouth as soon as he reached it. He then checked on Ana without caring about Ana, who kept asking him.

"You didn't bring Rain, did you? Don't bring Rain here, Marius," Ana said repeatedly.

As Marius looked at Ana's face, he noticed a reddening scar on her side.

"You hit him?" asked Marius, looking at Ted with anger that had been ignited. "Now!"

A second after Marius said it, the rumbling sounds of people shouting began to fill the entire corner of the old building. The men in black suits who had no idea how many had already swarmed into it. Ana recognized him, they were Marius' bodyguards.

Marius was still busy beating up the man who was near Ana. He attacked Marius as soon as the guards went inside. After she finished, she immediately released Ana from the rope.

"Hurry and get Ana out of here!" cried Lucas who was fighting Ted.

"Bring them all away without exception, I don't want anyone to escape," cried Marius giving his order. Even when everyone was busy fighting, they could still simultaneously answer Marius.

"Ready!"

"Come on Ana, we're out of here" Marius asked.

Just as Marius was about to hold Ana, Ana saw that someone was ready with a wooden pallet box on his head. That man will throw it right over Marius' head.

Seeing that, Ana's head continued to give orders to Ana to move. She immediately hugged Marius and pushed him back. "Marius, watch out ...," cried Ana.

Just as Marius and Ana fell backwards, the man managed to smash the box and landed right on Ana.

Marius could not believe what had just happened. He could see Ana's face that was very close to him. The girl was enduring the pain with blood flowing down slowly from her forehead. Soon, Ana becomes unconscious.

"Ana!!," cried Marius.
