Ana had not moved from where she was standing. He was still staring straight at Marius with many questions inside his head. As for the man, he only looked at Nora without caring about Ana at all.
"He should have explained something to me. At least he told me he was back. What's that hard?" Ana said in her heart.
"You don't want to say hello to him, honey? I thought you knew each other?" asked Marius, though both eyes kept on Ana.
"Don't I tell you she's just a nanny?" replied Marius without any burden at all.
Ana wants to distrust her ears, but Marius' voice is too clear for Ana to find a reason to deny it. Marius actually said he was a nanny.
"So now I'm a nanny?" she asked in her heart. He was still holding back his tears, even though it sounded very painful.
"Ah, yes. Sorry baby, I forgot," Nora said as she kissed Marius again.
"What if I find Rain's best babysitter? You don't mind, do you?"
"No. Just do what you think is good. You are free to do so" replied Marius without any hesitation.
Ana did not show any reaction seeing the sight. He no longer showed his surprised face. He also tried not to think about anything else. Because he knew, once he thought, he would get angry then cry, and eventually lose, because Nora was waiting for him for that.
Ana felt the answer she was looking for was enough. He doesn't want to know the rest anymore. He knew being there for too long would only add to Nora's pleasure.
"I left Rain alone. Because I'm still Rain's nanny, so I'm sorry I didn't have lunch with you guys. Thank you for inviting me" Ana said. He just turned around without waiting for Nora or anyone to answer.
"Ana?"
Ana was surprised to see Noel standing in front of her. He took advantage of the opportunity.
"Ah, doctor Noel. Today the doctor has a schedule to check on Rain, right? We're all there, aren't we?"
Ana did not wait for Noel to answer her. He directly draped Noel's arm, then pulled him out of there.
"Please, get me out of here" he whispered until only Noel could hear him.
Noel immediately understood Ana's intentions. Without further ado, she follows Ana's quick steps to quickly disappear from there.
"Wait .. wait a minute ...," said Ana stopping Noel from walking again after they were already in the parking lot, away from Mr. Barnett's men's sight.
Ana took a slow breath, fanning her face to block her tears from falling. At least not in front of Noel as well, he thought.
"Are you okay?" asked Noel worriedly. He looked quite worried while examining Ana's face.
Ana immediately dodged. "I-I'm fine. A minute ..."
Ana then turned her face away from Noel's gaze. He did not want Noel to see his current face.
"How am I going to drive you home?" asked Noel suddenly. "Do you want to go somewhere to calm your mind?"
The offer from Noel sounded pleasant in Ana's ears. It was more fun than he had heard in the restaurant.
"Whatever you want, just say it. I'll take you. At least we'll get out of here first, yeah," he said.
Noel's right. At least get out of here. Before anyone sees him getting angry here, then report it to Nora. And the woman laughed proudly, so Ana thought.
"Hmm .. I think I'll just go home. Rain may be looking for me right now" Ana said.
"Ready to do."
......................
Two days passed after that incident, and Marius still remained unconnected to him. He didn't come home either. I don't know where he slept all this time.
But, Ana was already unwilling to pursue the answers to all her questions. He's already starting to believe that they're up to something, including Naomi and Lucas.
Naomi, her best friend is the most suspicious. He said he doesn't know anything. But Ana believes Naomi is lying. Because Naomi hadn't seen him since Ana asked her about Marius' marriage. This is not the Naomi Ana knows.
What annoyed Ana was that none of them would explain anything to her. And they obviously seem to do it intentionally. They seem to be hiding something from her, but at the same time they want Ana to know that they are hiding something.
Just like Marius did today. She sends a store manager with her assistants to help her show Ana a collection of dresses from her store.
"Mr Marius asked Miss Ana to choose a dress for Miss and also for Miss Rain" the manager said.
"I don't need a dress. Like Nora said, I'm just a babysitter. Let me help you choose Rain" Ana said, asking for a catalogue from the manager.
But, the manager instead said, "Master Marius said, if Miss Ana doesn't choose one from our collection, Mr. Marius won't buy anything from our store either." The manager showed off his face in front of Ana, followed by his assistants.
"Mr Marius also said, Miss Ana should choose at least ten dresses each for Miss Ana herself as well as Miss Rain" the manager said.
"What?! A ten? That's too much!," said Ana almost yelling.
"Where is the employer telling the nanny to choose ten dresses? He did this on purpose, "he thought annoyed. "Why not explain everything more openly than this?"
................
Day H.
Ana stood in front of a mirror that presented herself with the dress she had chosen yesterday. That dress looks so pretty. Simple but beautiful. She really likes it. That's why he chose it yesterday.
"Although your day is bad, at least if you look good, your mood is also good" Ana said. He was in front of the mirror as if he was showing himself off.
Shortly after, Rain came in the same dress as her. The only thing different is the size. Ana accidentally chose their dress to be the same. He also deliberately wore it that day.
"Nora was also the most raging," Ana said, holding back her giggles. "But she won't go crazy, because today is her wedding day. She won't break her makeup."
"Mommy .. are you okay?" asked Rain who was worried to see Ana laughing alone.
"Oh sorry, Rain. Mommy's fine" Ana replied. "We're leaving?"
"Yes ..."
Rain doesn't know where we're headed yet. He only knew they were going to a party.
"Well does showing herself married to Rain belong in her plan or not?" Ana thought. But Ana hopes Marius doesn't.
................
The car that Ana and Rain were riding stopped at a villa that was on top of a hill with a view of the sea behind it. When Ana got there, the place was very quiet. There were many wedding decorations there, but Ana did not see any guests or the bride herself.
Ana got down from the car with a look full of astonishment. He never saw a wedding party like this.
"Is the party over?" thought Ana.
From the front door of the villa, Ana sees David running towards her.
"Miss Ana, please let Young Miss Rain come with her," David said, pointing to one of the bodyguards that Ana thought were David's men.
"Don't worry, Miss Ana. Young Master Ryu is already waiting in another room."
"Naomi has arrived? I'll go with Rain then." Ana, who was holding Rain, was about to take Rain, but then David stopped her.
"No. Miss Ana will come with me."
"Where?"
"To another room, Miss Ana. Everyone is waiting for Miss, including Mr. Marius."
Ana was surprised to hear David say that. "Why are they waiting for me?", thought Ana.
There was no other choice he could choose but to follow David's orders. Ana eventually follows David who takes her into the villa to another room, after he hands Rain over to the bodyguard whom David has appointed.
Ana felt very nervous as she stood at the large door of a room. The two bodyguards Ana recognized as David's other men were standing on the right and left side of the door.
David standing in front of him blocked him from entering first. But then, he spoke with a communication device that was in his ear.
"Jasmine has arrived" said David.
Although Ana did not understand what all this meant, she remained standing waiting for David to tell her to enter. The heartbeat from earlier he could hear added to his nervousness.
"Miss Ana, get ready." Automatically, Ana immediately took her breath, then threw it away slowly. He was trying to get his nervous.
The next words delivered by David were the cues intended for the two guards at the door.
"Open the door."
As the door opened, Ana saw the blitz camera that dazzled her eyes light up. Repeatedly, both of his eyes reacted to avoid his glint. When Ana got used to it, she could clearly see the people inside were looking at her.
"Miss Ana ..," whispered David to her. Ana immediately looked at him.
"It's time for Miss Ana to go inside."
Ana looked back at the room whose door was now wide open. On the other end, he saw a pair of humans standing opposite each other and also looking at himself with different gazes.
Ana recognized the man with her expensive tuxedo, stood up gallantly and smiled at him. "Marius ...," he called her a weep.
Ana looked at the woman in front of Marius. With the wedding dress that was once shown to her. That is ... "Valerie ..."
But, why was everyone looking towards him? Isn't the bride on the other end? What's up with everybody?
