CHAPTER 61

Although Ana did not like the way, but at least the way Marius did could be said to be successful. After the announcement, Ana's home is free from the crowd of people whom Ana now knows they are not only Valerie fans, but also Nora's henchmen. But, even though the crowd had already diminished, Marius did not reduce the bodyguards guarding Ana's house.

But, what was surprising to Ana was when Naomi said that Noel was still waiting for her downstairs. Ana did not expect that Noel was still down for so long. His talks with Marius and Naomi are arguably quite long. At once, Ana felt guilty.

Ana immediately went downstairs to meet Noel. Many times Ana apologized to the tall man. Many times too, Noel prevented him from doing that.

"It doesn't have to be, I want to wait here" he said.

Noel said that he was worried about Ana not saying anything when she heard the news. That's why he decided to wait until Ana was okay.

But Ana cannot tell Marius the truth. Ana fears that it will affect the plans that Marius and Naomi have made. Even so, just by looking at the situation outside Ana's house that could already be controlled, Ana was sure Noel understood something. It's just, he's not sure which part.

"So are you going to continue her therapy at Aris's doctor? Because it seemed like the therapy was working," Noel asked suddenly.

Ana was surprised. "W-you know?"

"Just guessing. But it seems right." Noel's little laugh actually made Ana nervous.

"The therapy worked. Although there is still a little interference, but I can still control it" Ana replied. "But, I want to continue to complete the therapy according to Dr. Aris' plan."

"So, what's your plan?"

"I have a lot to do after this. I'll arrange my time so I can visit Aris' doctor. I'll call Dr. Aris if I set things up."

Noel simply smiled and said, "Then, call me if you need anything, okay?"

Although Ana does not know what Ana will need from Noel. Because all this time Noel always helped Ana. He always knew what to do when Ana didn't know what to do.

"You must have known about Marius and Valerie's fight back then, right?"

Ana looked at her laughing papa recalling the incident. He thought about how close he had been to Marius all this time.

"And, every time your ex-boss asks you out for a drink, who do you think brings you home? Of course, Marius. Not to mention, you always forget every time you wake up the next morning."

Again, Ana could only be silent to hear the story of her father. Even when her papa ruffled her hair, Ana did not dodge it.

"Why are you telling me now?" asked Ana.

Ana is not afraid that someday she will have to face Nora. What she was afraid of was if she could not meet her papa again. So, Ana wanted to keep hugging him like that for as long as possible. As long as his father was still with him at this time.
