"I caused you to be like this. All ... my fault ..."

Ana raised both her hands and held the hand of Marius who was currently covering her eyes. He held tightly onto Marius' sturdy hand.

"I never blame you, Marius. Never at all. Not even thinking about it. Why do you feel guilty?"

"Everything that happens isn't because you want it. But you say it's as if you caused it to happen, but it didn't."

"You worry too much about the people around you, Marius. I told you once, don't carry that burden alone. I can protect you too."

Ana waited for Marius to say something. But the seconds seemed to be minutes, long enough Ana waited and the man did not say anything.
