CHAPTER 32

The day after Eli's departure, Marius brought in a butler. This time, he was a man.

"Good morning, Miss Ana, Young Miss Rain ..."

Ana almost cried out in surprise as the butler greeted her. Because when she did, Ana had just walked out of Rain's room. And the butler was standing right in front of Rain's door, with several servants behind him.

"S-good morning ...," said Ana who also bowed her body to reply to the butler's greeting.

"His name is Sebastian Abraham Montinawa. You can call him Tian. He was the great-grandson of a previous butler who had served the Hadinata family," said Lucas, who was holding Rain, who ran to him as soon as he saw Lucas.

Ana became amazed by all that dedication. Ana became even more speechless as she looked at the handsome young man who was before her at the moment. He can estimate the age of this man in the range of 25 years and above.

"From great-grandfather to great-grandchildren, they all work for the Hadinata family. I'm more curious about how much they pay to do it in every generation?" Ana thought.

"You'd better stop looking at him like that, or he'll lose his job because someone is going to fire him on his first day of work" Lucas said

But, Lucas just laughed, and Ana only grew curious about Lucas' words earlier.

"Marius asks her to meet you and Rain so you can get acquainted. In the future, he will replace Eli" Lucas explained.

"Hopefully I can work well to serve Miss Ana as well as Young Miss Rain" Tian said.

"Ahaha .. I'm just a babysitter, Rain the main one," Ana replied nervously.

"If there's anything Miss Ana needs, Miss can tell me," Tian said again.

Tian's entry as a butler brought about a considerable change in Marius' house. Because Marius ordered Tian to do many things other than Eli's previous duties, including replacing all the servants related to Eli's matter.

On his first day of work, Tian is tasked with re-selecting all the servants and removing the servants who are considered no longer appropriate. As a result, more than half of the servants out of a total of 130 had to be replaced.

"This has to be done, so that no more destructive seeds are still stored" Lucas explained.

And the biggest change Ana felt was how Tian and the servants who were under her leadership, treated Rain.

Ana sees for herself how Rain is treated like the daughter of a family head. They serve him with a smile, ask him to joke, play, or just chat. They're trying to please him. Rain is like a princess in her own palace.

"Good night, Miss Ana, Young Miss. The chef in the kitchen asked, does Young Miss want to eat something she likes?" asked a waiter.

Rain only looked silently at the two servants in front of him.

"Hm ... What does Rain want to eat?," asked Ana who saw Rain still seemed to be unfamiliar with this treatment.

Rain just shook his head.

"Ehm. Rain likes salmon, right?" asked Ana again.

Rain nodded his head.

"For her dessert, what does Rain want?," asked Ana to lure Rain to speak.

Long enough the boy was looking for answers. But, Ana let him do that. Ana wants Rain to be able to tell herself what she likes.

"... chocolate ...," replied Rain.

"Cake ..hm? the mousse? or pudding?,"

"... pudding ..."

Ana was quite satisfied with Rain's answer, although it wasn't perfectly correct yet. "But this is a good start" Ana thought.

"What about Miss Ana?"

"Ah .. no need to bother. I'll eat whatever the chef is serving tonight."

"Well, I'll tell the chef" said the waiter, begging to resign.

After the servants left, Ana gently stroked Rain's head and said, "Smart kid."

At lunchtime at a restaurant, Marius is waiting for someone with Lucas.

"Mr Barnett is really a persistent person" said an irritated Naomi who immediately sat on the sofa that was in front of Marius. Siska, her secretary catches up with Naomi by sitting next to her.

"He called me 145 times!" Naomi grumbled.

Lucas who was next to Marius just laughed listening to Naomi tell her a story. Marius was just showing off his smile.

"What about Mr Winata? Does he not mind?" asked Marius.

"Between you and Mr Barnett? Of course he'll choose you. The rest is my decision" Naomi replied with a cynical smile.

"So, what are you going to do next? Are you gonna pull all that news?"

Naomi's smile became even more sinister. Even Siska was afraid of being made. "You think I'm that stupid? I won't let go of anyone who dares to bother my Ana. I'm gonna make the news even hotter. Too hot to be hard to put out."

Marius looked very satisfied with Naomi's answer.

"Next week there will be a meeting for all investors joining AWP Projects. DYNE Group's new project for the construction of a new hotel and apartment in New York. I hope you'll come. Lucas will tell you the time and place."

Lucas and Siska soon do their job for their respective superiors.

While Marius and Naomi, they still continue to talk about their business cooperation. Since they first met at Lorenzo Vinz, their next meeting has been more about business.

For Marius, be it about Ana or about business, Naomi was the most reliable person. One of them was when he had to deal with Nora. Naomi and WINZ Group are the most important. "Good man?" asked Marius in disbelief, hearing a Naomi say that.

"So you're saying you're going to let her get close to Ana?" asked Marius again.

Naomi nodded her head."Sure oes. It doesn't matter if he likes it."

Marius was starting to look upset. "Lucas!" called Marius to Lucas' surprise.

"Tell Tian to find the servant who will be waiting for Rain at school. From tomorrow Ana won't have to take Rain to school!" orders Marius to be upset and leave Naomi.

Naomi smiled proudly at what she had done. He felt like he was holding his trophy.

"You did it on purpose, didn't you?" asked Lucas.

Naomi showed off her smile. "My Anna is awesome. It feels good to see a Marius who is upset about Ana."

Lucas laughed at seeing that. For the first time she found someone similar to her, which was a pleasure to see Marius's face when upset.

But Lucas could not linger laughing at Marius, because at this moment Marius was really upset calling himself, who was almost shouting.
