Babysitter For Rain
Extra Story: Part 10

Marius had just finished tidying his tie. Unlike usual where Ana always helps him prepare, this time Ana is unable to do so.

It had been these past two days, ever since Marius had calmed her down in the bathroom, since then Ana had felt powerless, and had always wanted to lie down.

"My head feels heavy. My whole body is like there is no power. I thought it was because I was hungry, but after eating two mouthfuls I was already full. Is it because I'm eating less so drowning like this?"

Ana's face looks pale. It could be because these two days the diet is irregular.

The first day, Marius thought that because Ana was too tired after crying. But as the second day continued, Marius began to worry.

"I'll call the doctor, yes" he said. His hands repeatedly checked Ana's body temperature. But there's nothing wrong with that.

"I might just be exhausted. Rest for a while later also better," refused Ana. Marius can see Ana trying hard to show herself okay.

"But it's been two days, Ana. And you're not getting better either. You're in the room today. I called the doctor."

Ana is still trying to get in Marius' way. But Marius no longer cared. She was already very worried Ana was not getting better either. At least the doctor can tell you what's wrong with her.

After kissing Ana's forehead, Marius exits her room and finds Rain has just come running. Marius stopped him.

Sitting on one of her legs, Marius said to Rain, "Mommy is not feeling well. Mommy rest first, yeah."

Rain was starting to look worried. "Mommy still hurts? Mommy didn't go to the doctor?"

"The new Daddy will call the doctor" replied Marius.

Marius looked at Rain who was still not satisfied with just that. He sighed.

"But don't bother mommy, yeah. Don't take mommy to play first. Mommy needs a lot of rest."

Rain nodded his head repeatedly. Marius' signal that allowed him to see his mommy was read very well by Rain. Therefore, he became so enthusiastic.

Marius opened his bedroom door for Rain, and the little girl walked very slowly, arguably, to settle down. Marius almost laughed because of his innocent behavior.

After closing the door to her room again, Marius immediately contacted the doctor.

Sometime when Marius returned to his room, he lost his words upon seeing something that would probably be the most beautiful sight of his life.

"Sstt .. mommy is sleeping" whispered Rain by putting her tiny finger in front of her lips. Marius is again entertained with the innocent manner of Rain.

Ana may have woken up earlier, because Ana's arm is currently hugging Rain.

But what is adorable is that his favorite daughter is now resting her arms on top of Ana's body, then patting her slowly. The boy did exactly the same thing Ana did to him every time he went to sleep.

Marius sat by the bed, then gently stroked Rain's hair. Marius' smile could not stop expanding. The scenery he saw right now was simply too adorable.

The doctor who was going to examine Ana, finally came as well. Before entering, Marius recounted the symptoms Ana had suffered. For a moment, the doctor scrunched his forehead.

"Hmm ... when was the last time Madam menstruated?" ask the doctor suddenly.

Marius felt strange about the question. But he still answered. "Last month. This month doesn't seem like it, it should have been three weeks ago."

"If seen from the symptoms this is like a sign of pregnancy. I'll check it out, Mr. Marius," the doctor explained.

"Doctor ..." Marius stopped the step of the doctor who was about to enter his room.

"Can .... doctor not say anything about pregnancy in front of my wife?"

This is a guess, Marius thought. She worries that if the doctor says she suspects that Ana is pregnant, and it turns out that the test results show otherwise, it will affect Ana to the point of being out of control. It would be best if Ana didn't know anything about this first.

"Stupid me. Why didn't I see the result then?" Marius wrote in his heart.

The doctor is a doctor who usually handles the Hadinata family. He knew exactly why Marius did that. So the doctor agreed.

There were not many questions Ana asked when the doctor examined her. His face still looks very tired, but all he did was sleep. Ana was completely out of energy.

"I'll take the doctor to the front first, yeah. You go back to sleep" said Marius, kissing Ana's forehead.

Slowly, Ana went back to sleep next to Rain who had fallen asleep earlier. His arms were wrapped around Rain's body hugging the little girl. Only then did Marius catch up with the doctor who had already exited his room.

"90% sure, Madam is pregnant. But, to be more certain, I will bring Madam's blood to be tested. I'll be telling you later tonight."

Marius did not dare to be sure before the test results said so. There were too many wrong signs that he and Ana had found and ended up being disappointed. That's why she didn't want Ana to know. She is unable to see Ana crumbling again due to her disappointment.

But Marius still felt happy even with just that guess. This time, she became very hopeful that her test results would not be wrong.

Marius kept staring at his phone. Checked repeatedly. But not a single message or missed call came in. He continued to feel nervous and anxious.

"You still have work?" asked Ana from the bed.

Marius gasped in shock as Ana asked him. His wife was watching his favorite drama. She did not expect Ana to ask him to speak.

"... w-do you want to sleep?," asked Marius nervously. He walked over to Ana.

Ana shook her head. He looks worried. "I saw you not calm down. What's up?"

"I'm fine. Don'worry. Do you want to watch or do you want to sleep? Or are you hungry? I'm cooking something for you" Marius asked back to distract Ana from her, in order to reduce Ana's worry.

But Ana did not stop asking. For a while, Marius' anxiety waiting for news from the doctor was sidetracked by chatting with Ana. Although his eyes did not stop glancing towards the phone he placed on the nightstand.

As soon as the phone was on, Marius picked it up immediately. "You watch again, yeah. I answer this phone first. I came back soon" he said in a hurry but still had time to kiss Ana on the cheek.

When Marius came out, he immediately answered the phone. And the look on his face immediately turned more cheerful.

"Congratulations, Mr. Marius. Ms. Ana's gestational age is 15 days."

The next words delivered by the doctor were no longer heard by Marius. He is too focused on his happiness. Marius even shed his tears.

"Master Marius .... Mr. Marius ...," call the doctor from behind the phone.

Marius went back to his consciousness. He immediately wiped his tears. "Sorry, Doctor. Forgive me," he said.

After a few things the doctor said, the call was finally over. And shortly after, Marius' phone went off. Another message from the doctor who sent the test results.

Marius re-assured himself by opening it. Although he already knew the result, but he was still shocked when he saw it. And a second later laughs happily.

It took a few minutes for Marius to prepare himself to deliver this good news to Ana. He wanted this to remain a surprise for Ana. Once everything was ready, he started to enter his room.

Ana was watching as Marius entered. As soon as he saw Marius, Ana stopped him immediately. With a curious look, he looked at Marius who was walking towards him.

"What what what, Marius? Why were you in such a hurry to get out? Did something happen?" asked Ana.

"I want you to see something, Ana."

Marius then gave his phone which is currently on his screen is showing a picture of the test results.

Ana still did not understand Marius's intentions. He continued to look towards Marius with his worried gaze, but both of his hands still received the phone.

Slowly, Ana tried to understand the situation as well as the image Marius showed her.

Ana's fingers did not stop moving. Sometimes he zooms in on his picture. With a quick movement he shifted it to the right then to the left. Still unsure of what he saw, he zoomed back in. But apparently, it was the maximum that could be aired for him.

Ana turned her head to look at Marius. Then back to Marius' phone in his hand. When Ana saw Marius back, tears had already slowly come out of her two eyes.

Marius knew, Ana already understood it, but she still could not believe it. Marius understood that.

He drew Ana's face with both hands, and led her to see her. "The doctor said he was 15 days old."

"I-that means ..."

Marius nodded his head. "That means you were pregnant two days ago."

Ana's breathing became increasingly heavy because of her crying that would soon break in a moment. Marius slowly pulled Ana towards him and held her in an embrace. Ana's cry became increasingly broken and unbearable.

What a surprise Marius and Ana received today. Ana considers it a miracle. When they had ceased to hope, that was when their prayers were answered. Ana could not stop being grateful for it. This will be one of the best of Ana's life.

"What did Rain ask for before blowing out his birthday candle?"

"Rain asked for a sister."

"Sister?"

"Hm! Rain asked for 3 sisters. One female. Two men."

"Cock different?"
