The next few days Ana lived without any burden at all. He had already stopped thinking about the conversation between the two maids the day after. According to him it would only be a waste of time thinking about what they said, if Ana herself had even only been in this house for a few days. There must be a reason why the nannies chose to quit or get fired. Clearly, for now Ana has not thought about resigning.
Being a nanny with a salary of 100 million per month? Oh no, Ana won't take it off. Although Ana does not understand how to babysit, but this job is very good to be able to quickly pay off his papa debts. Even former jobs could not provide such an offer.
If it wasn't Ana, then the only reason would be Marius. And, Ana knew full well, Marius couldn't possibly fire her. It was precisely Marius who asked Ana to be his babysitter. So, for now, what they said was not an important thing Ana needed to think about.
Thus, Ana began to think of a way to become a 100 million caregiver that was truly worth her salary. There must be a reason as well why Marius asked her to be a nanny. And Ana tried not to let her down. "Just wait, this nanny of 100 herbs will definitely be useful," Ana said with her fiery eyes.
Ana's next plan is to figure out what Rain really looks like. Armed with knowledge from pediatricians and child psychologists he read from the internet, he tried to find out what and how the real character Rain.
A 4-year-old who doesn't like to talk and only plays in his room might explain one character. But, when Rain dances in front of the TV and has a curiosity when Ana does something for him, Ana is sure Rain must have something else. The question is, what is it? With that confidence, Ana began to work out her plan.
When Rain played her favorite Play-Doh while they were in a playroom near Rain's room, Ana tried to create various shapes with it. Rain watched Ana do it with sparkling eyes. Suddenly, Ana thought of something that would not hurt to try.
"Would you make this edible?"
Rain's eyes instantly sparkled and his mouth gaping wide, as if he was yelling, "Where, how, Sister Ana?."
As Ana took her to the kitchen, she looked at the entire kitchen as if it was her first experience visiting the room. And when Ana invites her to make cookies, she makes various shapes like she plays her Play-Doh.
On a different day, Ana tried something else. While Rain was watching, a character of his beloved cat was playing kite. And, Ana suddenly thought of an idea.
"Does Rain know how to make a kite?"
Rain shook his head.
"Sir Ana knows."
And a second later, there were many stars in Rain's eyes.
A few minutes later, they were already in the yard trying to fly the kite they had just made.
And just like today, when Rain was playing with his beloved dolls, an idea came to Ana's head. "How about we take them for a walk?"
Despite showing a sense of confusion on her face, Rain still followed what Ana had planned.
And finally, this is where Ana, after Rain had taken a bath while waiting for dinner, under the big, shady tree that was behind Marius' house. Ana is accompanying Rain who is having a tea party with her doll friends.
"What are you doing here?"
A voice shocked Ana and Rain. But Rain immediately excitedly greeted her as she looked at Marius.
"Daddy ..."
Marius immediately carried Rain who ran up to him. Apparently he just came from Rain's room. Eli told her where they were.
Rain pulled Marius to sit on a cloth mat with his puppet friends. Although astonished to see her, Marius still followed what his daughter wanted.
"What is this?" Marius whispered to Ana as he received one empty cup of tea from Rain.
"As seen, Rain was having a tea party with Mr. Rabbits, Mrs. Potato, Miss Agnes, and Miss Daisy, too" Ana said, pointing to the dolls she gave her name.
Ana raised her cup of tea and showed it to Marius, as if asking Marius to also chew the tea in his hand. But, Ana was forced to hold back her gelatinous laughter when she saw Marius doing what he was doing.
"Is this your idea?" asked Marius suddenly.
"Yes" answered Ana. But then, Ana started to panic. "Did I make a mistake?"
Marius shook his head.
"I think Rain needs something that can make her realize new things besides being in her room or in the playroom" Ana replied.
"Are those cookies your idea too?"
"Cookies? Oh yea. We made it together that time. But it was Rain who asked me to wrap it up for you."
Ana recalls Rain putting a packet of cookies on her nightstand with a piece of paper written, "For Daddy" and a funny picture next to it.
"Funny, huh?," asked Ana anxiously.
Marius was silent at Ana's smile. He then looked at Rain who was playing with his puppets.
"I thought you said you didn't have any parenting skills?"
"I don't have any. But like you said, I can learn it. And it turns out, it's fun."
Ana looked at Rain who was enjoying her playing time. Looking at her, Ana realized something. Day after day, without realizing it he had tied his feelings to Rain. Ana, who had originally only thought of settling her debts by coming to Marius' house, was now thinking of a way to make this little angel happy.
"I don't know if this will work, but seeing Rain smile whenever I give her an idea, it makes me even more sure, Rain will be fine."
Ana always believes, there is always a purpose in every meeting. And if this is Ana's goal to be reunited with Rain, then Ana will do whatever it takes to make her happy.
"I did very well, right? You won't regret paying me that much" said Ana, taking off a proud smile at Marius who was currently looking at Ana.
Ana, who found Marius' eyes staring at him, could not take her eyes off her. Marius seemed to be locking him up so as not to look anywhere. Marius' gentle gaze made him lose his words. Ana is in her control.
Ana is shocked when she sees Rain pulling Marius's sleeve. His heart suddenly beat hard. "What was that?" he cried in his heart.
If it wasn't for Rain who was tired of playing, I don't know how much longer they would have stared at each other. Ana who still heard her heartbeat could not take her nervousness away. She pretends to clean up Rain's toy when Marius holds Rain back home.
"Just leave it there, let the servants do it" Marius said. Ana spontaneously stood up and followed him from behind.
"I like your idea. Tell Eli or me if you need anything" he continued.
Ana smiled proudly at herself. "If Marius liked my idea, then everything would be fine, '" he thought happily.
......................
Meanwhile, from behind the window, a woman was looking at Ana and Marius talking. Although from a distance, they look quite familiar to an employer and his caregiver.
His hands clasped quite hard in front of his chest, like he was holding back his anger. But, seconds later, he realized that he was not alone in the room.
"Prepare dinner. Master Marius and Miss Rain will be heading for the dining room soon, "he ordered.
"Well, Miss Eli," the servants who were lined up behind her in unison answered and bowed their bodies.
