CHAPTER 48

After being in the hospital for a few days, Ana is finally allowed to go home. Doni decides to take Ana home. Although actually, Marius was the one who asked for it.

"Let Ana go home after she gets out of the hospital, Om. Maybe he misses her house" said Marius, speaking in front of Ana's room, leaving Ana with Naomi inside.

"Did something happen between you?" asked Doni who was also astonished by Ana's change in attitude.

"none. Maybe because he was still thinking about the incident. And om is the closest person. He must have missed Om," replied Marius.

Doni could find no other reason to answer the question that also stuck in his heart. Why did Ana suddenly get so far away from Marius? Why did Ana suddenly want to go home? They were okay before.

"What are you going to do with those criminals?" asked Doni suddenly.

"I'm going to turn them over to the police, once everything's done. But for now, they have to settle things with me" replied Marius. Even though he was talking to Doni, still he was unable to hide his anger.

Marius returns to the place where he once held people who had tried to kidnap Rain and also injured Ana. The sound of screaming in pain filled the entire corner of the old warehouse.

After Ana is injured, Marius immediately takes Ana to the hospital. Lucas and the other bodyguards remain there doing their part to catch everyone involved, including Ted.

Not everyone can be arrested. Most managed to escape. Meanwhile, some of the rest, including Ted, were arrested and held in an old warehouse.

While Marius is busy with Ana in the hospital, Lucas is in charge of interrogating Ted and his men. He's trying to get information from Ted who told him to.

Some people had already been released after being severely beaten by Marius' bodyguards. Others are still waiting to be released.

After being beaten many times, Ted finally wants to say who told him. And at this time, Marius was waiting for the coming of the man. Some of the bodyguards he assigned to take her were on their way to see her.

After a long wait, the door of the barn opened, and his guards were carrying a man who was covered in the face. They dragged him rough, and sat him in a chair in front of Marius.

"No need to talk anymore. Tell me, what does a Dylan Miller Anderson want from me? I don't think DYNE ever bothered ANDERS Entertainment" asked Marius with a sharp look.

Dylan, the man, just laughed sarcastically in response. "You may be wrong. I don't understand what you mean."

"really? But I don't think your man would have mistaken you" Marius said, signalling his bodyguard to bring Ted before them.

Ted, whose face was covered in bruises, prostrated himself before Marius and Dylan, who were unwilling to look at him.

"I don't know him. Why do I know him?"

Shortly thereafter, a laptop confronted Dylan with pictures of him along with Ted having a serious conversation somewhere. Then, a CCTV video footage, which shows him talking to Ted.

"Some time ago, when your thugs tried again to kidnap my daughter, you were together at a coffee shop, and watched the show from above. I think you know quite well who is in this picture" said Marius.

"Haha ... I can't seem to dodge it anymore" said Dylan, who still sounded cynical.

Marius said nothing. He just stared at Dylan sharply, waiting for the man to say what he had asked before. What does Dylan want from Marius?

"Why don't you ask Valerie directly? All this because of him," replied Dylan harshly.

Marius was surprised because now this matter carried the name Valerie in it.

"What does this have to do with Valerie?" asked Marius.

Dylan just snorted violently. "He's just my bedmate. But, she considers me her lover. Huh! A man like him wants to be my lover. He thinks I don't know, he just wants me to make him a great artist under ANDERS."

"That's your relationship with Valerie. None of my business. But why did you involve my daughter and my lover?"

"You think I don't know? That kid is Adam's son, right? You just helped your sister babysit the kid. "

"If you know, that means the connection between Valerie and my son is getting away from this. Don't spin! Just tell me straight away what you want from my daughter?" snapped Marius.

"Because he said the boy was my son!" snapped Dylan.

Marius was surprised to hear Dylan's words. His hands were clenched very hard. He was ready to punch Dylan in the face right then and there. But he was holding it very firmly. There's still a lot he needs to know.

"That valerie is absolutely crazy! He wanted to tell everyone that the boy was my son. I have to prove that the boy is not my son! Or he'll destroy me, destroy the ANDERS I've built in years!"

"I just need that kid to do a DNA test. That's why I planned the kidnapping. Because that's the only way I can get close to the kid. But you're arresting my men."
