CHAPTER 27

Ana was standing at the door of a room in Marius' house. The room was actually a guest room, but for now it was used to hold someone inside.

After finding a small camera in Ana's room, Marius immediately orders David to do a cleanup in each room and look for signs of wiretapping.

The result, quite astonishing. Even Ana had never seen Naomi so eager to see the tools that David found.

"We're dealing with a madman" Naomi said with a grin that gave Ana goosebumps at the grin.

The equipment that David found was not only a small camera, but also a tool to tap sound. And the place of his discovery was not only in Ana and Rain's room but also Marius's workspace did not escape from these tools.

"How long have they been doing this?" asked Lucas.

After all the rooms were cleared of the tools, Marius began interrogating the person he was holding in the storage warehouse. And from that interrogation, Marius began to get clues that he had never thought before.

That person was a servant who had been working at Marius' house for a long time. The man also mentioned Eli by name in the video Marius, Ana, and Naomi saw at the time. And, not without reason he did.

Name's Dara. He was Eli's nephew from a distant brother. Eli put her in the Hadinata house because she wanted Dara to do something for her. And, that's how Dara was able to stay inside Marius' house for quite a long time.

When she is interrogated by Marius, Dara again mentions Eli by name.

Ana nodded her head. "Please give me permission so I can see him."

"Why do you want to see him?"

"Because I want to hear it for myself, the reason he's doing this is all."

Although she asked Marius, Ana was nervous at the thought of him talking to Eli, for some reason.

Gathering all her courage, Ana began to enter the room.

"You don't have to do it" said Eli, sitting on a high sofa by the window.

"I want to do it" Ana said.

"I'm sure you want to ask me something. That's why you're here" said Eli, who only looked at the window without caring about Ana, who was nearby at this time.

Ana could see the fatigue on Eli's face at this moment. Ana never saw him tired while taking care of the house or the servants. But today, all that exhaustion was clearly drawn on his face. What makes it look like that?, Ana thought.

"I just want to know, why did you do it?" asked Ana.

Eli was silent when he heard Ana's question. He looked at the sky from the window. However, Ana knew she was thinking about the answer.

Eli, who showed so much anger, brought his body closer to Ana in front of him.

Ana only accepts Eli's anger without saying anything. He could feel Eli's anger. Ana could also see how broken Eli was when he told her of his anger. Reasonable anger is committed by a mother who feels her son's life is being treated unfairly by others.

Meanwhile, outside the room, Marius stood facing the door of the room, with his hands clasped hard enough, listening to the conversation between Eli and Ana.
