Babysitter For Rain
CHAPTER 9

This morning, Ana woke up feeling better than yesterday. Although Ana could still remember her fear every time she recalled how the snake was in her hands, but all of that quickly left. With a single focus and exhale, Ana became fine.

The least he could hold back was when he remembered his dream last night. Ana met her father last night through her dreams. Ana calls it a dream, but actually Ana can hear clearly when her name is called, feels a touch when her hand is held, even Ana also feels when her papa kisses her forehead, like not a dream.

Despite all the problems her papa has to solve at the moment, her papa Ana remains her papa. Ana misses him so much. If the papa doesn't leave, Ana wants to be able to tell him that everything will be fine, and Ana will accompany him to deal with it.

Ana is shocked to hear Marius' voice suddenly heard in her room as she feels she is crying alone. Immediately wipe those tears.

Ana was surprised the little girl suddenly hugged her tightly. Seeing how Rain hugged her, Ana instantly understood the little girl's worry towards her. A warm feeling suddenly enveloped his heart.

Ana wants to make up for the time wasted yesterday by getting her to play today. But, then ...

Both Ana and Rain, they were both shocked to hear Marius half-shouting as he said that.

"You .. You're off today. Use it to rest" Marius said. "And Rain, you're gonna play daddy."

Ana wants to reject Marius' orders, but before he says them, Marius again says no in a "no disputation" tone.

Both Ana and Rain could only look at each other with their sad gazes, then together cast their gazes at Marius.

And during that day, Marius completely forbade Ana to return to activities with Rain. He said it would make him tired so the pain would come back again. But, Ana felt she was fine.

"He's really cruel. Letting me be alone here and not allowing me to do anything. He could kill me for a long time like this," Ana was annoyed when she saw Rain playing in the backyard with Marius from her bedroom window.

It wasn't just a day that Marius locked him in his room. In fact, the next day, and tomorrow, and tomorrow. Ana was really upset by it.

However, the attention of Marius and Rain completely rendered Ana speechless. Several times Rain brought him something he made himself in the kitchen with Marius.

Sometimes he also takes his toys to Ana's room, making Ana play with him. Although Ana knows what Rain did to comfort Ana so as not to feel alone in the room, but not with Marius. He always told Rain to bring back his toys. Sometimes Marius can be a destroyer of people's pleasures.

Unlike Marius, every meal, Marius will bring his food to the room, making sure Ana takes her medicine on time, even staying in her room until Ana is completely asleep.

"Did she do this to her other nanny?" asked Ana in her heart. But, a second later, Ana chose not to let her get carried away with her attention.

Ana realizes her position as a debtor and also as a nanny for her child. After all, even though Ana never asked and Marius never talked about it, Ana knew that his wife might be somewhere. It was clearly impossible for Marius' attention to be more than that of a master employer.

An hour later, Ana convinces Marius that she is fine. Even Rain helped.

"I'd rather die of exhaustion from playing with Rain than die of boredom in the room" Ana said out loud.

"You ..." Even Marius could only widen his eyes at Ana without being able to say anything.

In the end, Marius allowed it, even under certain conditions. And the two cheered leaving Marius in his study.

"I actually hired a nanny, but why does it seem like I'm taking care of two toddlers" Marius said as he massaged his forehead.

"Ana .. This is papa" said Doni, holding Ana's hand on her bed.

Slowly Ana opened her eyes despite looking very heavy. His gaze was still blurred, but he recognized the man who was nearby at this moment, "Papa ..."

Suddenly, Ana was crying. "Mr ... Ana kangen," she said.

"I'm sorry, baby. Forgive me, papa," he said repeatedly while kissing his daughter's hand.

"Papa's coming home, yeah ..."

"Hold a little more, yeah ... Papa will come ...," Doni kissed his daughter's forehead. "I'm sorry papa ..."

Ana's eyes were heavy again. His energy which was only the tip of a fingernail was already drained away due to his crying. Ana fell asleep again.

Doni did not blame Marius for what happened today. He understood that the boy had already suffered enough with all his guilt. Marius definitely did not want anything to happen with Ana either. Because Doni knows exactly how Marius feels about Ana.

In the end, after seeing Ana's condition, even Doni still entrusted her to Marius. While Marius himself was already feeling helpless after he saw for himself how hysterical Ana was.
