"Marius ...," called Ana as she peeked out from behind the door of Marius' room. But, it doesn't look like anyone's in there.
"Where is he?" he asked softly.
Since Ana is engaged to Marius, Ana more often stays at Marius' house, in his usual room. Marius asks Doni himself to let Ana stay at his house. Doni, of course, agreed.
But once in a while, he would stay at his own house for two or three days, when he missed his papa. As well as checking his condition, so Ana thought. And Marius doesn't mind that. He even drove Ana home.
Just like Marius did last night after they came home from a dinner invitation from one of DYNE's business partners. After returning from the show, Marius asks the driver to stop by Ana's house and drop her off there.
But then, Marius called. Ana thinks Marius called her to let her know that she has arrived home, but she hasn't.
"Ana ... uhuk .. I think I'm sick .. uhuk ..."
Ana drives her car and drives to Marius' house after searching for a cure for Marius.
But, where is that guy now? Tian says that Marius is in his room. Surprisingly, Tian did not know that Marius was sick.
Ana placed the bag of medicine she was carrying on the table. She thought Marius might be in the bathroom, so she planned to wait for him.
As he was about to sit down, suddenly someone hugged him from behind, clutching him tightly with his sturdy arm.
"Marius .. said you were sick. Now what?," asked Ana worriedly.
Marius held it tighter. Her face was buried in the grooves of Ana's neck and kissed her, giving Ana goosebumps.
"I'm lying" Marius replied in a husky, deep voice. "If you don't do this, you won't come."
Ana let out her breath slowly. Both of his hands hugged Marius' arm which was currently encircling his body.
"Tell me, what's wrong with you? Since coming home from the party, you've always been quiet, not wanting to see me. Every time I ask, you always say it's okay. But what I saw was not so. Did I make a mistake?"
Ana was surprised to hear Marius say that to her. He kept trying to hide it. He did not expect Marius to even notice it.
"N-there's nothing wrong with you, Marius."
Slowly Marius let go of his embrace, then led Ana to turn to face him. "Why do I still feel like you're lying to me? Tell me, Ana. Did I make you angry?"
"Nothing, Marius. I'm not lying."
Ana still saw Marius's disbelief from the look on his face. The man still looked at her suspiciously. Ana is becoming increasingly wrong because of it. Ana didn't want to say it, but Marius wouldn't seem to stop asking if Ana didn't say it.
"You didn't do anything wrong, Marius," Ana said once again. As Ana wanted to say the next sentence, Ana slowly took her eyes off Marius. "The problem is in me."
Marius's hand moved slowly reaching for Ana's face, leading her to keep looking at him. "What's wrong?" he asked softly.
Ana looked at Marius' face, biting the bottom of her tiny lips as she pondered whether or not she would say it.
"Or... You want me to kiss you until you say it?"
Marius had already moved forward towards Ana's face, but then Ana held him back with both hands.
"Yes, yes .. I told you."
Ana could no longer retreat. Marius gave her not much choice or reason to refuse. Although it felt heavy, Ana slowly said it.
"You ... remember ... when you were in the party, you met your friend in France?"
Marius nodded his head.
"Do you think .. is she beautiful?"
Marius scratched his forehead. He still did not seem to understand the direction of Ana's conversation.
"Obviously. Why?"
"I think she's .. beautiful." Ana bit her lower lip back.
Marius immediately sighed. Hard enough for Ana to hear. As Ana looked at it, one corner of the man's lips was being raised forming a smile.
"Are you jealous?" asked Marius.
"Slight ..." Ana might have lowered her head, but both eyes were still staring at Marius, though a few seconds later Ana turned her eyes back.
"But I am more .. envious of her .. than jealous ..."
"Iri?" asked Marius, frowning his forehead again.
"When you chat with him, you look .. fits. When I was among you, I felt like I was in a different world. As I looked at it, I kept thinking it should be a companion to a Marius Edmond Hadinata. Strong, charismatic, smart, and confident. And as I looked back at myself, I felt far below him. I feel .. not worthy."
Marius suddenly flicked his index finger at Ana's forehead.
"Ac ..."
"Is it that heavy to be my partner to the point that you think that way?" asked Marius.
Ana did not dare to answer anything. He just lowered his head.
Marius took his breath. He raised Ana's face again to look at her with both hands.
"Everything you say. Strong, charismatic, clever, confident .. I see it in you too," said Marius. Confidence emanated from her eyes until Ana believed Marius' words.
"In my eyes, you shine more than any other woman, Ana. That's why I love you."
Ana was made blush by Marius' words. Ana could feel her face slowly warm up.
"And, therefore also I want to boast of it to everyone. That's why I went to attend the invitation with you. You know I rarely go to events like that."
"But I still have to keep myself grounded, Marius. I also don't want everyone to laugh at you for having bad luck being betrothed to a wife like me" Ana said.
Marius slowly moved his hand away from Ana's face. He looked quite confused by Ana's remark. At first glance he looked convinced, but then became doubtful.
"You mean ..," asked Marius who dared not finish his sentence because of his disbelief.
"I feel my PR is so much that I can surpass your friend. Or at least I should be able to match it. I just don't know where I started from" Ana explained at length.
"So, since .. that's what you think?"
Ana nodded her head. "Ehm ... What do you think?"
Marius now laughed out loud as if laughing at his own stupidity. Then back he put both hands next to Ana's face, brought Ana closer to him, leaning his forehead on Ana's forehead.
"I thought you were sorry to be with me" said Marius Lirih.
"I? Regretting?" asked Ana.
"Do you know how many women are willing to be with you? Mama Agnes gave me the golden ticket, there's no way I'm taking it off."
"I'm just afraid .. they underestimated you because of me," said Ana again whose voice had now turned quite slowly. In their very close distance, Ana looked at Marius's two eyes.
Marius laughed again at Ana's words. But his laughter was not as loud now.
"You don't have to turn out to be like them, Ana. I'm not going to forbid you to do whatever you think, but .. I don't want you to change. You are you, they are them. And I love you in front of me right now."
Ana's face blushed again because of Marius' words. Ana was not only made to be washed away by Marius' words, but Marius's eyes seemed to be foaming her to the point of rendering her helpless.
Marius kept his forehead away from Ana. Both of her hands were still leaning on both sides of Ana's face. Marius looked at her once more, then said, "Don't worry about me, Ana. You just have to be yourself enough. And I'm sure, nothing will happen as you think it will. Even if it happens, believe me I can handle it."
All the doubts that had been weighing on his mind, now seemed to disappear without a trace. When Ana looked at Marius' eyes, she somehow became very trusting of Marius.
"How can I doubt Marius? I underestimated it if I said it like that. It was Marius. What strength does he not have?," thought Ana.
Marius then brought his lips closer to Ana's, smelling her gently, slowly.
The longer, Marius's kiss deepened and demanded. Ana began to lose her mind and mind. He began to forget how to breathe.
Marius let go of his fondling for a while, looking at Ana with his unusual gaze. A look that seemed to be nailing Ana so as not to be able to reject her.
"How is Om Doni?" asked Marius half in a whisper.
"Papa .. He's fine. I said I'd come here" replied Ana, whose breathing was heavy.
"Stay here tonight, Ana. I'll take you tomorrow" Marius asked.
"I ... I ..."
As if to know what Ana would answer, Marius again drowned Ana in her kiss. This time, Marius' hand started to move touching everything Ana had. Tonight, it looks like it will be a long night for Marius as well as Ana.
......................
Ana awakens as sunlight entering through the curtains of the room hits her eyes. The glare of the sun was too stinging that Ana had trouble opening both her eyes. But suddenly, the light was no longer dazzling. Something shady like it was blocking him.
Slowly, Ana opened her eyes. Marius was lying next to him with one of his hands blocking the sunlight from hitting Ana.
"Bonjour, cheri," said Marius in a deep voice.
Ana looked at Marius' body which looked burly and strong. He then realized he was also undressed.
Ana then recalled the hot night she had just been through with Marius. Pain all over his body and also in his core gave him a sign that what happened last night was real.
Instantly, Ana's reddish face suppressed all her embarrassment. The blanket that only covered his body, now raised even more up to cover his face.
Ana could hear Marius laughing at her. A second later, Marius had already hugged her tightly.
"You weren't this shy last night" seduced Marius.
Ana wanted to refute Marius' words. He immediately pulled out his face from hiding and looked at Marius. But then, without Ana expecting it, Marius had already caught her face, then kissed her deeply.
Ana felt what she felt last night. He was reminded again by Marius, what he felt last night through his kiss. His involuntary heartbeats, gasping breaths, and a strange taste that rained down all over his body. Marius seemed to be siphoning off all his remaining energy.
By the time Marius let go, Ana's breath was already so heavy. Ana no longer knew how she looked now. But he sure does, he must look ugly by now. Ana's hand immediately covered it.
But Marius took it, he did not allow Ana to hide the face of Ana whom he currently loved so much. The other side of Ana that only she knows.
"What are you hiding, Ana? Let me see it" he said softly.
Marius looked at Ana's face with a smile, then he took back Ana's lips, and kissed her deeply, so deeply that Ana's breath became irregular again.
"Magar ..."
Slowly Marius went down Ana's neck, sweeping cleanly at every part he passed. And it ends with adding a beautiful painting on Ana's smooth white body, after last night I don't know how many paintings she's made.
When Marius was satisfied with his work, Marius looked back at Ana. Ana's reddish face made her even more fond of the beautiful scenery she was seeing right now.
"You look so pretty, Ana, '" she whispered.
"Lying ...," cried Ana with her soft and heavy voice. He almost covered his face again, but then Marius took it again.
"Let me see it, Ana. That expression, mine, let me see it."
Ana can only resign no matter how Marius directs her. The pain he felt was no longer felt. Ana enjoys all the time she spends with Marius. I don't know how many more times they'll do it, if it's with Marius, Ana will be with him until the end.
