Juna went to work, I had seen him gather with friends who wore green uniforms, uniforms as a characteristic and identification of the factory where Juna worked. But Juna himself has not worn a green uniform like the others, because Juna still wears a white shirt and black subordinates, typical clothes of children who are apprentices.
I can see there are some friends of Juna who also still wear black and white clothes, maybe the same as Juna, still apprentice.
They boarded a large two-door bus with a large inscription on the name of the factory where they worked. And from a distance I could see Juna chatting and occasionally joking with his co-workers. Thank goodness Juna is at home and has many friends here.
" Look at what again?, have you ever seen Juna want to go to work?".
I looked at the origin of the voice, it turned out that the one who asked was Rasid, Juna's rented neighbor. He had bought a pack of rice in the same stall where I and Juna had breakfast.
" Yes, it only arrived here yesterday, it's my first morning here" I replied as necessary. I saw Rasid still wearing casual clothes with a white T-shirt top and a knee-length coloured pants subordinate.
Actually I was wondering what kind of work Juna's neighbor was, the others were busy early in the morning preparing to go to work, but he was still relaxed, at this hour just looking for breakfast, and not even shower. Was he not afraid of being late and being scolded by his superiors?. Or does he not work in a factory?, it could be like that.
I chose to go back to the contract and left Rasid who was paying his food to the shop owner. I could hear Rasid's footsteps speeding up to walk beside me.
" Nih for snacking on rented, fried tofu, bakwan, and fried cassava" Rasid said as he handed over a plastic bag in his right hand.
At first I was about to refuse, but Rasid held the plastic bag in my right hand. " It is accepted, the windfall cannot be refused".
Forced to accept Rasid's gift, because it was in my hands, it was not nice to see other people pushing each other plastic bags.
" Thank you", I said briefly.
Rasid nodded, "Oh yes, if you may know, why did you come here?, didn't you just get married?, I mean newlyweds?, did her husband wander over as well?".
Rasid's question made me stare at him, from where he knew that I should be a newlywed. What Juna used to tell me about this one neighbor.
" Am I wrong to say?, why are you looking at me like that, and there was once a woman who bravely looked at me like that, take it easy, just relax, although you are the type of woman who fits my criteria, but I do not like anything that already belongs to someone else ".
I don't know why there are men who talk so much like Rasid, when we only knew him last night, but he's been talking too much, as if he's known each other for a long time.
" Your marriage is off?, so you ran here?", again Rasid spoke the truth, has Juna also told me about the failure of my marriage to his neighbor, how close is Juna to Rasid?.
I didn't answer Rasid's question, and I'd rather go in and close the door. I didn't get out of the contract all day. Because in the afternoon I did not feel hungry, and did not go out to eat. There are some fried foods given by Rasid, I can eat if I suddenly feel hungry.
Until 5 pm, Juna came home from work, I was still busy taking notes on some dishes and cakes from my phone, which I planned to make tomorrow.
" Have you had lunch?", asked Juna after saying his greetings and went into the house.
" Already", I replied briefly, because indeed I had eaten this morning, sleeping all day in the room made the stomach not feel hungry. Even the fry from Rasid is intact.
Juna nodded, believing just like that with my answer. Moreover, he saw a plastic bag containing fried foods lying on the floor of the living room.
" Later we go shopping just out maghrib, if you leave now later nanggung maghrib" said Juna.
I nodded in agreement, since I saw Juna seemed to be exhausted, he definitely needed a break after working all day.
While Juna was taking a bath, I heard someone knocking on the door and saying hello, when I saw from the window a young girl standing in front of the rented door. I opened the door and looked at the girl carefully.
" Wa'alaikum salam...., sorry to find who?", I asked the young girl who was standing before me while carrying a plastic bag that from the smell seemed to contain martabak.
" His Juna is home?, sorry is this Juna's sister?".
The girl looked for Juna and did not shyly ask who I was.
" I am her sister, Juna, take a bath, if there is a need to wait, then soon it will be over" I replied, allowing the girl to go inside. But the girl refused.
" I just want to say goodbye, this was Juna martabak message, I was just asked by the father to anterin martabak here, because at the stall was rame and who bought martabak queue, I was just asked to make ante, and Juna said he wanted to go home first, so I anterin" the young girl explained.
Juna took the plastic bag from the hand of the girl named Mala. From the attitude of the two of them it seemed like they were familiar.
" Know this is my brother Mal, brother Raya his name".
" Kak Raya, this is Mala, the son of a martabak seller who hangs out on the road ahead there, he and my coworkers at the factory, we both graduated last year, we both graduated yesterday, and entered the factory on the same day, also placed in the same section" said Juna explained without me asking. Maybe Juna realized that I wanted to hear an explanation from him about the girl he was familiar with.
Mala and I shook hands with each other, Mala gave a very wide smile while shaking hands with me.
" Then I say yes Jun, still want to help the father in the field" said Mala left while chesting slowly to Juna. His smile continued to expand as long as he walked.
" Is she the girl who was joking this morning as well as you waiting for the shuttle bus?", I asked Juna.
Juna looked at me in surprise, "Did brother follow me this morning?", asked Juna as he opened the martabak box, took the first piece and handed it to me.
I received the still-warm sweet martabak and smelled its delicious aroma. It is fitting that the buyer is in line, from the aroma alone is very tempting.
" Sister just wants to see what life is like here, so you see you until you get on the shuttle bus this morning".
" Actually, it was his intention that he wanted to go around looking at the situation and conditions here, but your neighbor, Rasid, suddenly appeared and continued to miserocos, asked this and that, and that, continue strangely answered by yourself, it is not clear that your neighbor. What the hell is he doing?, why the others early in the morning are neat, he even still uses the same color t-shirt oblong?", asked who really wants to know.
" Bang Rasid has a workshop, he used to work in a motorcycle assembly plant, along with his best friend Mas Miko, who is now a manager at the factory where I work, but both resigned, he said, he said he heard gossip, love triangles. Finally, the girl who was contested even married to another man. No one gets both" Juna said.
It turns out that it is true, for 3 months Juna lived here, he was quite familiar with his neighbors, and knew many stories about his neighbor's past. But did Juna also tell me about the failure of my marriage to Rasid, is not it disgrace and shame.
" June, are you close to your neighbor?".
Juna frowned, "That neighbor, that means bang Rasid?", asked Juna.
I nodded, indeed who else is Juna's neighbor whom I know besides him, only one person Juna introduced me, and all day I locked myself in the room, and not out of contract, he said, so not acquainted with anyone.
" It's good, but not very close. Why is it?", asked Juna in between chewing martabak.
" You told him that you went home to attend the sister's wedding, and the sister's wedding failed?", asked me to the points.
Juna shook his head, "I did tell him when I wanted to go home, just so it happened that my sister wanted to get married, so there was no need to ask permission for leave, but I never told anyone about the failure of my sister's marriage", juna said with a reassuring tone.
" What bang Rasid alluded to about sister's marriage?", asked Juna curiously.
I nodded, "I thought you told her, but she seemed to be just guessing. You see where there is a newlywed who goes straight to another city following his sister, not her husband" I said, chuckling at myself.
" Bang Rasid was often right, as if he could read other people's minds. We never told him anything, he seemed to know everything. Let Juna scold Rasid so as not to disturb his sister again" said Juna.
" No need Jun, maybe the brother who overreacted him, actually he did nothing" I said stopping Juna who was about to meet Rasid.
" So right sister why?", asked Juna reassuringly.
I nodded." Yes we maghrib first, we immediately go shopping. Want to shop a lot, afraid long and until the night is really big" I said.
