Healing

Healing
100. Mentally Strong

After the maghrib prayer, Juna and I came out of the contract, not forgetting that Juna locked the rented door first and gave the key to me to keep in the bag.

When we came out, we ran into many other rented residents, and Juna introduced me to his rented neighbors. Afraid they misunderstand, because Juna put a woman who is not his wife into the contract.

I nodded and smiled at all of them without exception. Until Juna and I got out of the rented gate, walked towards the bus stop not far from here.

" Sister bought fried food where it was this afternoon?, what's at the street stall where we had breakfast this morning?", asked Juna as we sat at the stop, waiting for a bus to pass. It turns out that it is also good to live in a big city, public transportation is open 24 hours, unlike in suburban areas where public transportation is only until 5 pm.

" No buying, Brother is with your neighbor, Rasid", I answered briefly.

Juna nodded as he 'oh' long. " So this afternoon we had a long chat with Rasid?".

" Not really, he talks a lot, brother is quieter and gets a lot of questions from him" I replied.

I followed Juna who got into the big bus that stopped in front of us. Me and Juna were sitting next to each other because the passengers on the bus were not too many, there were still some empty seats. The bus was going slow, so Juna could tell me the names of the buildings we passed, and point out the usual crowded places for tongkrongan.

Only about 20 minutes away, Juna took me off the bus because we had arrived in front of the market.

It turns out that unlike my shadow, I imagine the market here is like the market in our old residence, still muddy when it rains, and the stinging stench of a pile of garbage beside the market. But in this market, everything is neat and clean, there is no smell of garbage, and the floor is also already in ceramics, not muddy if it rains.

Tonight I bought some kitchen furniture, but not too complete, because Juna's small rent, might be too crowded if you buy a lot of furniture. We had to find a new contract first, a bigger one to fit a lot of stuff.

Like the overnight plan, Juna also bought a foam mattress the same size as the one in the room, only fit to sleep one person only. But this time Juna bought a mattress that can be folded so that during the day the mattress changed its function into a seat.

We went home with a pickup truck to bring our groceries, and we both came home with the car.

Juna and I had not eaten dinner yet, so we had bought fried rice in front of the market. The name is mad fried rice, which is bought very queue, and it turns out that makes it very popular because the fried rice feels very spicy. Looking at the fried rice vendor inspired me to create something new.

If fried rice is spicy so many enthusiasts, it means that the majority of the people here like spicy food. Maybe I should make a dish with a spicy taste.

Pickup car arrived at the front of the rented gate, it turns out this gate never closed, I just know that, because indeed the rented residents go home and leave work is not always the same, the time varies, the time varies, some go to work in the afternoon and come home at night, some go to work at night and come home in the morning. That is life in a big city. And I only found out after living here.

The pickup truck driver helped bring down our groceries, Juna and I also carried the groceries in both our hands. Even Juna had to go back to the car and pick up groceries that had not been carried away.

" Are there still a lot of things to take?, if so let me help", Rasid offered help. But I shook my head.

" Thank you, but it doesn't matter, it's been brought all her groceries" I answered while unlocking the rented door and bringing in the groceries that were lying on the front floor of the door.

But Rasid still helped by incorporating other groceries that were still lying in the living room.

" Eh bang Rasid has returned, thank you bang already helped", said Juna who was carrying a folding foam mattress in his hand.

" Purchase another mattress lu Jun?, if you know you want to buy a mattress, will cave ban, it's a mattress belonging to the cave you use, like from tomorrow cave sleep in the workshop, like, let's not go back and forth" Rasid said.

" Emang in the workshop there is a room bang?, after all instead of renting a new brother in the extension last Sunday fitting I want to go home?, if not you do not occupy dear dong rent can not return", said Juna.

" If you want to nquatin, just use Jun, actually you said, dear already paid rent a year ahead. Money can not go back too, but the work in the workshop again a lot, so the cave wants to stay in the workshop first for a while, so that it can work on the car until it is there", explained Rasid.

" So if I stay, you want to be told to pay how much rent bang?".

From his words it seems like Juna is interested in occupying Rasid's contract. Maybe Juna felt his contract became narrow because of the things I bought earlier. But even want to forbid Juna feel bad for me. Therefore Juna agreed to occupy the next-door contract that will be in residence by the owner temporarily.

" Shouldn't have to pay Jun, you already consider the cave's own sister, besides the cave does not live in the workshop every day, nyampe a year, if there is so much work, if so much more, if you have begun to relax the cave back here, we can sleep together in the rented cave, the mattress is big, fit for both, not rich in your small mattress".

Juna nodded in understanding." Thank you bang, but tonight I still sleep in my rented first bang, want to try a new mattress, tomorrow if you do not go home, the key to the brother contract is entrusted with the same Kak Raya", said Juna.

And after the conversation between Juna and Rasid just now, in the future Juna so often sleep in the next rented, which is more spacious and not much furniture. I didn't mind it, and instead, when Rasid left the keys to his contract with me, he asked that I agree to prepare food for him every day, from breakfast, noon, and night.

Rasid's workshop is located across the street from the rented position, not too far, walking about ten minutes to Bali, so I agreed to deliver food there, quite a regular customer, can, just started the effort.

Tomorrow I start selling, for the first day thankfully there are some buyers who are actually our rented neighbors.

And the more the day buyers in my rice stall more and more, not even just the residents of the next door, there are also buyers from other places who deliberately buy packaged rice in my place. I am grateful that they love my cooking.

Each day increased my subscription, from the first I only cooked 1 kilo of rice to sell and to eat alone, at this time in a day I can spend 3 kilos of rice, morning, afternoon, and night.

I don't think I've spent a month in this place. Rasid has returned home to his contract, but Juna does not return to his own contract, he prefers to sleep alone with Rasid in the next contract. I don't mind it, the important thing is that no one objected and both felt comfortable.

Every day I regularly make food for Rasid like the message used to be. Rasid has even paid for food for the next month in advance. That's why I don't taste good if I don't prepare food for him.

The more days my rice stall the more crowded buyers, even in the third month, I can spend about 10 kg of rice every day. Thank God, I am grateful that my efforts are going well.

Contract Juna I use for cooking, and front of the contract deliberately installed on the roof about 3 meters, for lesehan if anyone wants to eat on the spot, of course we installed the roof after asking for permission from the landlord, and fortunately the landlord gave permission by adding to the rental fee of course.

But behind that smoothness, there are still problems that arise, what else if not for jealousy from the owner of a rice stall that is not far from the contract. Rice stalls that used to be Juna's subscription, now the buyer is quiet because many are moving into subscriptions at my stall.

" Don't be taken heart of brother, they came here and were angry because they felt the subscription was stolen as mba, even though everyone will have the right to choose themselves where to buy food, but everyone will have the right to choose their own, we do not force them to eat here, they themselves judge which food stalls taste better and are more affordable".

" The owner of the stall at the end of the road should fix the taste of the cuisine, and take advantage not too big so that the customer does not run away, instead of coming here and getting angry at his brother so. Fortunately there is Bang Rasid at home, so you can help bear kak Raya, try if there is no bang Rasid, maybe you get mentally hit by the owner of the rice shop at the end of the road".

" Tomorrow continues to sell as usual, because the business competition is common, brother, do not be afraid because the threat of the owner of the food stall down the road. If they're still acting like it was this afternoon, we can report it to RT sir".

I nodded, indeed this is not the first time anyone came to the house and was angry with me, my mentality was strong, and accustomed to such things I used to experience often. So of course the next day I keep shopping for groceries to the market and keep opening rice stalls. Can pity my customers if I don't sell, they can starve for not having time to find breakfast.

Even sometimes there are also Junior High children who are told by their mother to buy rice packs every morning, because her mother had to go to work early in the morning and did not have time to cook for her family. Sometimes seeing a kid in a Junior High makes me think of Shaka. Somehow Shaka is now.

Because my phone number changed after two weeks here. My phone was gone when I went to the market. The time I tried calling my number was still active, but no one picked up the call, and the next day my number was no longer active, maybe the phone ran out of battery, or found someone and the number was discarded. I don't know...

Maybe this is better, for me to really open a new leaf. After I called Yoga to ask Shaka, Yoga never once picked up my phone. Even my messages were ignored.
