Then they started walking towards Baltra village. Just a little while to get to the village. And not until noon did they arrive.
The village was lined by a circular river on its eastern side and large rocks between rice fields on its western side, before being seen at the village's central gate at the end of the road.
Villagers were seen working in the rice fields as the Couran train made its way into the cobbled road leading to the village gate.
The center of Baltra village looks quite busy. Many residents were seen doing activities along the way. Their house was made of wood with a roof of dry straw matting. The houses lined up similarly along the street stretched symmetrically in all directions from the village gate.
Couran immediately escorted Deuxter to the village healer who was only two houses away from the gate. Many villagers were watching out out of curiosity. Then Couran drove the other party to stop by his house before he decided to meet the village chief.
Couran's house looked big enough for an old man living alone. It has two rooms and one warehouse separate from the main house. But not much different from the train, the Couran house also feels narrower because it is filled with more books and tools that are rarely seen in general.
Seeing the goods and books Couran, Nata and Aksa did not hesitate and did not wait to ask permission first, they immediately sat cross-legged reading the scrolls.

After noon Couran returned as Lucia, Jean, Huebert, and Loujze were in the middle of their conversation about the Estrinx area. And Aksa and Nata were still busy with the scrolls at the end of the room.
"We ask for his help as long as Deuxter is still healing" Huebert said, seeking permission to stay in Couran's home until Deuxter can return to travel.
"You guys don't hesitate. After all, I am also alone in this house," replied Couran later. "And what about the plans of the two of you after this?" This time Couran asked Lucia and Jean.
"We may leave here tomorrow morning, sir," replied Lucia.
"What's up, Mr Couran? Is something going on?" jean asked after noticing Couran's face that looked a little lethargic from the first moment of entering the room.
"True, this village is in trouble."
"What's that?" This time Lucia asked.
"One half of the rice fields are buried in landslide hills."
"What severe? How long does it take to reclaim the land?" This time Huebert asked.
"They said badly. Maybe another half to a year can only return to produce."
"Bad too."
"The main income of this village is from agriculture. If this village loses half of their income, then this village will be hard-pressed to pay taxes to the kingdom."
All are silent between not knowing what to say or trying to find a way to help.
"Will Mr Couran take us to see the location of the landslide? Maybe we can help think of a way to this distress" Nata said later.
"It's our gratitude because of all the lessons and scrolls sir's book." Aksa.
And slowly Couran smiled which was then followed by another.
-
Afterwards Nata and Aksa asked Couran to take a tour around the entire agricultural area of Baltra village. The village is surrounded by a large rice field area stretching to all directions. It took me half a day to walk around it. There is also a hill on the north side and the river stretches on the east side.
"The way of farming in this village is very bad" Nata said as they were about to walk back to Couran's house. "When their land is big."
"Then are you gonna try to fix it?" ask Aksa.
"Actually I'm actually lazy to do it. We are strangers they don't know. While the way of farming they have been hereditary like culture."
"But you're up to something, right?"
"Well, unfortunately it's like that."
"Is that a plan so we can have free food while we're still here?"
"Yes, that's one of them. I think we should also teach them how to cook well. The taste of their cooking is severe," said Nata while making movements such as going to vomit.
"Hey, you two! We heard what you were talking about" Jean said later.
"Oh, I thought we were talking in our own language, hehehe.." Aksa said then with a shy smile, followed by Nata.
"So have you found a way to save the land buried by the landslide?" Jean looked a little angry to hear the words of the two young men.
"If it's easy, you don't have to wait half a year or so. We can start working on that land in five days."
"really?" Couran sounded surprised in disbelief.
"Sounds unconvincing," Lucia said softly.
"The most difficult thing to clean up the remaining avalanche is the large rocks and solid soil that is not only heavy but also does not have an easy position to lift.
"While we attempt to break it down into smaller parts it will take a considerable amount of time with the tools and human resources we have today. But if we find a way to deal with it, then the rest of the problem will be easy."
"really? Have you found a way to handle that?"
"True, it's just that more important is how to win again if problems like this happen again in the future. And also the farm here is not fully utilized." Nata explained.
"You mean?" ask Couran curiously.
"Mr Couran, can you bring me together with this village chief?" said Nata with an important pretentious style.
"It's so annoying for those two kids!" jean was upset to see Nata and Aksa.
