17. Girl In The Forest
They finally entered the border between Elbrasta and Estrinx, a week later. That day they stopped for a moment to rest their horses. Under a shady tree was a forest not far from a river.
"I guess today we'll be hunting for a bit. This border forest, there are many types of deer that are good for dinner later" said Huebert later.
"It's been a long time that we haven't eaten venison" Deuxter said.
"I'll also be in awe, to look for some medicinal mushrooms" Lily said following.
"I'll be with you" This time Lucia said.
"We will enjoy life here" said Nata.
"Idem" said Aksa.
"Bas based on a lazy boy"
"I'm staying too" Val replied later.
And then Huebert, Deuxter, Loujze, Lucia, Jean, and Lily began to enter the forest. But not long after the six of them went inside, they were stopped by a voice.
"Did you hear that voice?" Lucia.
"Like the cry of a girl" Loujze said "over there" he added, pointing to the deeper forest. Then they rushed to find him.
The forest on the border of this region is famous for being dense and has various types of plants. The trees are so shady and tall. The fauna that lives in it is many and varied. The six of them went down the road where the thick shrubs and the roots of the trees sticking out of the ground made it difficult to pass.
The source of the crying was found. Not far from a large tree that Loujze pointed to, a little girl sat crying in front of a wolf that appeared to be lying down.
"Be careful little girl. Stay away from the wolf" Lucia said, warning.
"Popo, please save Popo" the girl replied with a sigh pointing at the wolf in front of her.
It was revealed that the wolf was injured. Some parts of his body were torn and bleeding.
Seeing this made them approach immediately. Lucia immediately hugged the girl, while the trio of hunters seemed to check the condition of the wolf.

"You guys. Looking for medicinal mushrooms and hunting deer into the forest, why come back and bring problems" Nata said when he saw the group coming out of the forest with a little girl and a big wolf who was injured.
"Maybe it's Lucia's curse"
"Because none of us can use a healer" said Lucia, "it happened that we asked you who have the ability of a healer to take care of the wolf's wounds" he added later.
The wolf was very large for the size of a wolf commonly seen by Aksa. Probably as tall as Aksa's shoulders while standing on his four legs. It took Huebert and Deuxter to carry his body from the forest. The fur is light gray with some parts being darker in color.
While Nata noticed that this wolf looks very tame. Although not in full, but he was sure the wolf must be someone's pet.

"What's your name little girl?" Lucia asked when they were sitting on the river side again while the others went back into the forest to hunt and look for medicinal mushrooms.
"Andele" replied the girl, who was about ten years old, after gulping down the milk of a warm goat given by Lucia.
"Where are you from? Why did you arrive in the forest?'
"I was with an Azzur merchant who happened to stop around here. And as I was gathering fruit into the forest, I got lost"
"Then?"
"Then came the wild animals that were chasing. And finally Popo managed to drive them away. But Popo's hurt.
"So that wolf is your pet?" Ask Nata later.
"No, Popo's sister's best friend" Andele replied.
"You were with your sister?"
"No, but he must be worried to see that I haven't been back until now" Andele replied.
"You are a brave girl, Andele" Nata said later.
"Maybe your party is not far from here, we will try to go around the forest to look for it later" said Lucia calmed Andele.

Then a young man appeared from within the forest shortly after passing by from midday. The others had already cleaned and skinned their captured deer this morning.
It looks like the young man is wearing a slightly strange outfit, because it looks asymmetrical as the left-right, top-down part. Made of thick animal skins that overlap each other. It really looks messy. Compact with short black hair that also looks disheveled. Postured athletic body and several scratches on the face and hands, menganturatkan that this young man is accustomed to living in the wild.
"Selene!" Andele shouted as she found the young man approaching.
"Adele! You okay?" He dropped a wooden spear in his hand, then ran to hug the little girl.
