The Thousand Year Dynasty
10. The Legend of Valastrum

Atelir building was divided into 4 rooms that stretched backward. The first room is filled with daily tools. Like pottery, cutlery, oil lamps, and such.

The second room is filled with cloth, clothes, right, until the rope.

The next room was full of shelves containing rocks and gems. There are also some weapons such as swords, magic sticks, and daggers that are ornamented by beautiful and striking gems.

And then the last room was the blacksmith's furnace room. The room felt stuffy and hot despite having plenty of air ducts and windows. Two fire stoves appeared on the left and right sides of the room.

They met the man who served as a blacksmith in Atelir.

A Morra man bongsor with dull skin and spruce by charcoal on his face and hands.

His arms were stocky with leather vests similar to those of bounty hunters, who were still held together like aprons and leather gloves that looked thick and warm, which is not surprising if the man was sweating like he had just finished running the sun in the middle of the day.

"I'm Marco, there's something I can help you with" said the Morra man, taking off his band, which showed off his unkempt curly hair.

"I want to make stuff. It's like this" Nata handed me a paper roll.

"Hm... What is this?" Marco looked curious when he saw the contents of the scroll.

"Can you make it for me?"

"It's from iron? Circular in shape?"

"Really, how?"

"I'm sorry, but for this circle I'm not sure I can make it perfect"

"Well, it's gonna be a problem if it's not precise. Is it impossible to make it perfectly circular?" Nata asked again which Marco answered with a sluggish head and face.

Then the curious Val tried to speak up. "You asked him to make you what?"

Hearing Val's question, Nata hands the scroll over to Val. "Well, can you make a device like this Val?" Said later.

"It's made of metal? It was strange, like a bamboo tube. What exactly is this tool for? Is this a weapon like the crossbow you made for those hunters?"

"It really looks like a bamboo tube, and wrongly, it's not a weapon. It's a device used to hold heavy objects only with the help of water"

"really? This thing's powered by water?"

"Not as you imagined. But less is more like that. You'll know when it's gonna be later"

"Well, Mr Marco can I use your workplace?" Val asked suddenly.

"Oh, right too. Can we rent your workplace? We will pay for it, also we will use material from you, so you can give the price at once" said Nata later.

"Bo-maybe. But..."

"Is there a ban on us using the craftsmen's workplace in Atelir?"

"none. Well, you can use it, but on condition that I'll be here watching and watching your work"

"Is it okay Val?"

"Well then, let's get started!"

"You guys make me a legendary mystical relic that can cast Val lightning magic" said Aksa who was ignored by Val.

Val started getting ready. He's wearing a borrowed leather apron, belonging to Marco. He refused to wear gloves. While the raw iron slab cooked in the furnace now began to redden and flaccid.

Val closed his eyes as if concentrating. Nata and Aksa were very excited to see how an iron artist of the Elf race was in action.

Then with a metal clamp in his right hand, Val pulled out the hot iron. And after that the surprising thing is not only Nata and Aksa, but also Marco also happened.

Val pointed his left hand towards the hot iron and then it appeared that the left hand and the smoldering iron were shining bright green. And as soon as Val moved his hand forward, the iron quickly became flattened as if it were a clay-milled stone wheel.

Then Val twisted his wrist and the iron plate started rolling like it was rolling paper. Nata and Aksa are stunned by Val's work, which looks like magic.

"What the fuck?" Marco's seemingly incredulous voice broke the silence.

"True, it's against the laws of nature!" Sounds like Aksa added.

"Is that the secret of the Realns?" Nata's voice choked.

"Did you say that?" Suddenly Marco asked.

"This must be the Realn clan's cheat skill" Aksa chirped regardless of Marco.

"Is that Elf from the clan of Realn?" Ask Marco once more to be sure.

"Yes, he made the Toros" Aksa replied later, annoyed by Marco's repeated questioning.

"What?!"

"You shouldn't have said unnecessary things" This time Val turned around and stopped her work.

"Are you the legend of Valastrum?"

"Well, Val's long name is cool too. I just heard this. I thought your name was Val Realn" Aksa later said.

"No, Strum is the name of one of the classes in the art of making weapons" explained Lily who had just quietly enjoyed seeing Nata and Aksa who were amazed by Val's work.

"Not one of the class names, but the name of the highest class" Marco sounds corrected.

"Oh, is that on par with the Sage you have called Lily?" Ask Nata this time

"Yes, it's more or less the same as Sage in the wizarding world" Lily replied briefly.

"Meaning you're really the hero of Val's legend, I had my doubts" Aksa later said.

"I don't expect a confession from you guys" Val replied.
