21.5. The Fla Side Story Part 2
Fla walked in the back by Deuxter and Huebert. Not long after that, the color orange was seen from a distance. Shooting from a campfire.
As they approached, a horse carriage and 6 people sat around it. The two were clearly seen an Elf and a tiny rabbit Yllgarian. The other two were Narva women, who looked once were knights and noble daughters. And the rest two young men who look like a Morra but have straight black hair that Fla rarely meets.
And what makes Fla surprised is that their group welcomed and received it without looking at him who is a runaway slave.
"What's your name?" Asked one of Morra's men who had straight black hair while he was treating himself.
"Fla" he replied weakly to the young man.
"I'm Aksa" the young man introduced himself. "This is Nata, that's princess Lucia, kept the great knight Jean, the legendary hero Lily, and the legendary relic maker Val" he said again introducing everyone at the venue. Although it looks like some people who are introduced look not like.
"Where are you from, Fla? Why can you be a slave?'' This time a young man named Nata asked.
"I come from a small tribe living in the hills to the south. I was kidnapped by a gang of bandits before they sold me as a slave a year ago"
Everyone seemed to be sympathetic hearing her life story.
"And how did you escape the city of Halmd?" Ask Nata again.
"We were being transferred from Kotaraja to Halmd city by train cage when then mercenaries attacked our employer's bansawan" Fla explained. "By the chaos I managed to escape and ran into the forest" he added later.
"Carriage cage?" It seemed that Nata did not understand the meaning of those words.
"A cart-sized box of bars complete with wheels and a towing pole" Aksa replied later.
"Oh, right. The confinement of the train" said Nata who had just realized.
"Alright then, now rest" Aksa said after finishing dressing some of the young man's wounds.
Fla looked at everyone there with a look of fear and doubt. Will he be left behind after this? Or will they hand themselves over to Halmd again? But why would they treat and behave well if they would return it to the city of Halmd? Fla's mind seemed turbulent.
"We'll be heading to the village of Dyms two days' drive from here. You are free to leave once we reach the village" said Aksa "Now rest" added later.
Hearing Aksa's words made Fla feel moved and grateful, "thank you very much!" He then said, melting the tears.

Livia's voice was heard calling her name, until then before Fla appeared a chain that ended in Livia's legs and hands. Seeing this made Fla quickly run towards the figure of the girl. But something shook his body. Which made him startled to get up and rush to straighten his body.
In his confusion with his still irregular breathing Fla began to look around and ascertain where he was at the moment.
"You awake?"
"The shock of his chariot woke you up?"
Fla tried to observe more closely the surrounding environment. He was in a horse-drawn carriage swaying through poor road conditions. There was a noble daughter Lucia, a petite rabbit Lily, and a young man Morra Aksa. He remembered, Aksa took care of his wound last night. While seen on the sidelines of the carriage tent, in the place of the chariot driver there is Nata and the female knight Jean.
"How are you doing?"
"Oh, fine. I feel better"
"In a moment we will leave this rocky path. So you can get back to rest again"
"It's okay. I'm getting better"
"Where is there? You're still a fool, judging by the color of your eyes and nails, obviously you're malnourished. Which might be okay"
"Right, you can rest again at least until we get to the village of Dyms. After that you're free to go wherever you like"
Hearing the words and attention of those people unconsciously Fla returned to shed tears. He remembered Livia who might still be in the city of Halmd. While now he was enjoying this kind of kindness. He betrayed Livia.
"Why, does anything hurt"
"No, I'm okay. I just feel grateful to meet you all. I don't know what else to do or say"
"Yes, just follow my orders"
"I will follow your orders, Mr. Aksa"
"Rest"
Fla nodded as he continued to wipe his tears that did not stop. Then back to self-deprecate. He promises himself that once he has recovered, he will think of a way to save Livia, and her other friends from the city of Halmd.
