18. Azzure Traders
"Thank you for saving my brother and my wolf" the young man said after Andele finished explaining everything to him. "Name it Selene, I'm Andele's sister. We were part of the Azure traveling merchant" Selene said, politely introducing herself.
"You're an animal tamer?" Tanya Deuxter seemed to notice.
"really. I'm a tamer" Selene replied.
"It's rare" Huebert added.
"Discoon?" Looks curious.
"People who have the ability to train animals can help humans" Deuxter explained.
"The charmer" murmured Aksa.
"Is it related to magic power? That kind of Soul Stream?" Nata asked in a whisper towards Deuxter next to him so that Selene would not suspect him asking general things that need not be asked.
"Right, they used their soul stream to come into direct contact with the soul flow of the beasts" Deuxter replied in a whisper as well.
"Oh, so magic can be used in such a way as well" Nata said while nodding small as if he had just understood something.
"That you're a great tamer. Because it is able to make the famous Silver Wolf savage, so sejinak it" Limpal Loujze then when he found Selene who looks curious why Nata and Deuxter whisper.
"I can't yet be said to be great" Selene replied turning her attention to Loujze.
"So not all Azure traveling merchants are traders?" Nata asked this time not in a whisper.
"Failure, that's because we are nomads who often move in large groups. So we need some people with diverse abilities to survive while we're away in the middle of the uninhabited land" Selene replied, bowing to receive a warm glass of tea from Lucia.
"Then what is the tamer in a group?" Aksa seemed to be curious and did not care if her question could offend Selene.
"Usually in addition to helping hunt, a tamer is also tasked with guarding the group by utilizing the animals at night or when in certain areas" explained Selene still politely.
"Oh, the efficient way" Aksa seemed to be starting to understand. "We need a tamer in our party Nat" he said then ignored by Nata.
"If you are pleased, you can join us in the encampment of our company on the north side of the river. We have some things that may not be much, but enough to repay the good you have given.
"It doesn't have to be like that. We don't need anything anymore. We've had enough now." Lucia replied politely.
"And also surely you will be troubled to walk with small children on the road starting this evening alone while carrying the Silver Wolf" Loujze said later.
"That's right" Looks like Deuxter realized.
"Is your camp far from here?" Ask Jean later.
"No. We'll get there before the sky gets really dark" Selene replied.

And it's true Selene said, before the sun began to disappear behind the forest trees, they had seen orange light in the sky not far in front of them. Campfire light.
Shortly thereafter, a bonfire was lit on the banks of the river. Surrounded by some people who seem busy talking and passing by. There were fifteen people including children and women.
They were the Azzure Travelers Selene meant. The group looks big. Because around the campfire looks three large carriages pulled by four horses each. Two small carts each pulled by a donkey. Then four horses were carrying cloth bags that seemed to be soaring upwards.
Seeing Selene and Andele coming, they immediately rushed over to welcome with faces of relief. Then Selene told him everything and introduced Nata and Aksa's entourage.

"Thank you for helping our daughter. I'm Lumire. I am the leader of this group" said a large man with a bushy, haunted-looking brewpub who introduced himself while burning tobacco concoctions in a pipe wearing "This is my wife, Fatima. And they are all my relatives" he added in a loud voice as he lifted the tobacco pipe into his mouth.
It seemed that everyone there nodded politely after being introduced. There were four women, one of whom looked younger than the other. Then eight men of which three are young men and the rest are adult men. Including Lumire. And also two boys and one girl. The little ones seemed interested to see Lily standing next to Jean, who then waved at them with a smile.
"Please sit all of you down, I will prepare food first" said the wife as she left the campfire.
"There is no need to be like this lady Lumire" said Lucia who immediately responded Aksa with a cynical look.
"Let us entertain you as our precious friend" Lumire replied later.
"You're so kind, Mr. Lumire, thank you so much. We will respect him by not leaving him one bit" said Aksa then who replied Lucia with a glare.
Before long the smiles on Aksa and Nata's faces began to crack, as dishes one by one began to arrive. Like a party dish. Many and varied.
