29. Prepare to Meet
"This is obviously very suspicious" Orland said after reading a letter sent by the Urbar kingdom a week after their attack on the Estate of Ceodore.
Lucia, Nata, Orland, Amithy, Caspian, and Jean were in a meeting room in the city of Central. After they finished meeting with the leaders and the cabinet to discuss their work plan in the future.
"We better not attend" Amithy immediately replied.
"really. Most likely they were planning something, like a trap" Caspian added.
"I also agree. The princess doesn't have to come" Jean added.
"But this is their goodwill. We have to respond to it. So that all this will end soon" Lucia replied.
"True said the princess. We must attend to it to resolve this immediately. But I also agree with the others. I don't think you should come, princess. Let me and Aksa attend" Nata said.

"You want to attend the meeting with the Urbar kingdom? You sure it wasn't a trap?" Lily asked as she, Val, Aksa, Nata, and Rafa were inside Nata and Aksa's tent at the base of the Star Alcove.
"Can be. But we still have to attend" Nata answered while writing something on paper at the table next to Aksa.
"If there's a possibility of a trap, why don't you just represent it?" Lily asked again as she stood observing behind Aksa who was working on something in front of her Laptop.
"really. I agree with Miss Lily. If it's dangerous why not just send an envoy?" Rafa approved of Lily's greeting from next to Aksa.
"We need to see and confirm directly. If they send an envoy who is not very good at negotiating, then we can use it to get a favorable deal. And if indeed the messenger they send is reliable in negotiating, then what will happen is the opposite. If it's not us who's facing it" Nata explained.
"Then what do you plan to get that lucrative deal?" Lily answered.

"really. We should have prepared for this" Nata then stood up from his seat, then headed to the board that stood on the west side of the tent room.
And then using a small nail, he stuck the paper he had just written to the board beside dozens of papers that were already in the board.
"Have you decided to stay here?" Suddenly Val asks an unexpected thing from where she is sitting across from Aksa's table.

"Are you asking like that because you saw us doing too much for the region?" Nata asked from the end of the room.

"You better be here, Miss Rafa" Nata suggested.
"really. You're here" Aksa added.
"No. I will follow where you go, Mr. Aksa. Although I am not as strong as Miss Lily, or I am not a moon witch like Miss Parpera, yet I am still quite proficient with protective magic" Rafa insisted.

The next day, Aksa was training Rafa with a pistol at the test field next to Atelir's weaponry.
"Remember, if you're not sure you can hit it don't shoot. Unless you want to warn or scare" Aksa tries to explain to Rafa after Rafa manages to drop a can from a distance with his gun.
"I understand" Rafa nodded in understanding.
"Do you still insist on going to that meeting?" Ask Aksa then.
"Obviously I will come, Mr. Aksa. Do not let you forbid me" Rafa immediately replied quickly and seemed to have begun to put up counter-attacking preparations if Aksa forbade him to come.
"I won't ban you. But don't try to protect us above your own life. We've got better protectors than you. So don't act stupid" Aksa replied while putting on a lazy face.
"I see, Mr. Aksa" Rafa looked a little surprised to hear Aksa had not banned him. And then he started to smile.
"Yesterday Mr. Selene gave some Forest Salamander bark. And because it is not too much, the craftsmen of Tempest can only make leather gloves" Aksa said while taking something from his bag. And then threw it at Rafa.
Rafa caught on in surprise. "What's this for, Mr Aksa?" He asked when he saw two gloves along the elbow that had a shiny black color in his hand. With a dark red color that is visible in the parts exposed to light.
"That's the plan to be given to Lucia. But for the trial, you wear it at the meeting" replied Aksa.
"Oh, good Mr. Aksa. I will wear it at the meeting tomorrow" Rafa replied happily. And then start trying to wear it.
"All right then. Let's go back" Aksa walked off the practice field ahead of Rafa.
