The Thousand Year Dynasty
24. Nobility Elbrasta

Three days after Yvvone's arrival, Lucia saw the arrival of a guest. Some nobles from the kingdom of Elbrasta.

Five leaders of the noble families, along with 20 soldiers arrived through the north gate. Three of them were nobles of the palace branch of the family.

As Nata had predicted earlier, the nobles' aim was to meet Lucia due to the matter of Elbrasta's kingdom.

They did not overtly try to pressure Lucia into acting against what had happened in the city. But it is clear that they want the Lucia-led territory to attack the city of Elbrasta.

"Why the incident was always troublesome like this" Lucia was seen complaining after Orland finished telling the intention of the arrival of the nobles. "What do you think we should do, Nat?" Add it with a question to Nata.

Lucia, along with Nata, Orland, Amithy, Cornelius, and Caspian, were meeting at his residence some time after the nobles left.

"We will not start a war. That's all that matters" Amithy sounded interjected.

"I also agree" Caspian added. "Again we still have to guard the south. Because a few weeks ago there was a rebellion in the southern area of district two. And some potential insurgency in the westernmost region of district eight" he added.

"I will not stand in the way if you want to attack the city of Elbrasta, princess" Nata said. "Because I know, this is your personal matter. Just like me and Aksa did before. And I'll be in full support when you want to do it" then it's dissecting.

"But earlier, I wanted to ask first, princess" Tanya Nata continued. "If you have succeeded in occupying the city, what will you do afterwards? Do you want to rule over the kingdom? Or are you going to let it go and cause a war between the other nobles?"

"I've been thinking about that, too, Nat. I cannot lead that kingdom without making changes. Because the rules of the kingdom are so against my principles" Lucia replied. "But if I have to change it, then I will deal with or even be hostile to my own branch families. Or even people who do not want change. I don't want that" he explained.

"I don't think you've thought that far" Nata was really surprised and a little proud to see Lucia was able to consider her actions. "But what concerns me now, why are they coming to you? Why didn't they come to the king's eldest son in office?" Ask later.

"Sir Grevier is unknown. Right now those nobles are also trying to rescue the royal family from the palace" Lucia replied.

"Then, to date how many descendants might be able to inherit the throne?" Nata asked again.

"King Regulus, Lucia's grandfather, had only two sons, with the rightful queen. And king Albert had only one daughter, Lucia one" this time Orland replied explaining. "The younger brother, Sebastian, the reigning king, had three sons. Grevier, who is twenty years old. Alexander, the fourteen-year-old second son. And the youngest, named Eden, is still ten years old" he explained.

Nata seemed to understand.

"Why do you ask that, Nat?" Lucia asked.

"Because it would make much more sense to use the three sons of the king, if the nobles only needed an excuse to justify their actions" Nata replied. "Unless, they need your team" he added later.

"So you think they're using me?"

"really. I think it's like that"

"Then what should I do? Refuse their request?" Lucia looks worried.

"We can give help to people or nobles in need, as you usually do. Then try to find a way to make contact with the rebels or the palace family" Nata replied.

Others seem to agree with Nata's idea.

"Maybe it's the only thing I can do right now" Lucia had also determined the attitude.

-

"Maybe I will disappoint all of you, that now all I can do is provide shelter and shelter to the needy" Lucia said before 21 nobles in the living room of Cornelius' residence, the North town.

"Because it's impossible for me to carry out an attack on Kotaraja at the moment. Besides, we have just recovered from the war against the Urbar kingdom, also because I personally do not want to interfere in the affairs of the Elbrasta kingdom anymore" Lucia continued to explain her decision.

"Aren't you feeling hurt about the death of your uncle, daughter?" A Narva man with his hair neatly tucked back asked right after Lucia finished speaking.

"I feel sad and hurt. I would love to take revenge on anyone who has done it but I mustn't be rash" Lucia replied. "I can't just act that would make things worse" he added.

"The situation is now very bad, princess" the pussy man replied. "We'll petrify whatever you need. We have people in every corner of the city. Also the soldiers are more than enough to return to take over the city" he said again explained.

"really. All we need right now is you, princess. A legitimate leader to lead us all" this time a young Narva with a neat and attractive dressing style, who adds.

Lucia seemed to breathe out softly, "I am not your rightful leader. I only have blood from the previous king. The kingdom does not allow a woman to ascend the throne" he said later. "And also, one of the reasons I left the kingdom was, I didn't want to be made a tool by those who wanted power"

"You can change that when you've ascended the throne" this time Morra's man with a charming thin mustache spoke.

"You think that's possible? Those royal ordinances and rules are not my own to be able to change at will" Lucia tried to explain. "While I am the bloodline of the rightful king, it is not my kingdom"

"But, princess. The legitimate descendant of the king had power higher than the royal rule" the fattened Narva man at the right end of the room, interjected.

"If it's like that, then how am I supposed to build a city in this dead region?" Lucia was prepared with such a question. "It should be that if I really had power, I would have been appointed queen even without a king. But, no, right? Because the royal rule is higher than the female lineage. Although it's a legitimate descendant" he closed later.

The nobles were silent at Lucia's words.

"But right now, we're in an urgent situation, princess. You should be able to understand that" Narva's man said again.

"Then, what is the ultimate limit of that urgent situation? What after I've ascended the throne? And if the situation is no longer urgent, the rules will be re-enforced, and I must still find a partner to be made king?" Lucia answered at length.

"After you ascend the throne, you can change these rules" Narva said with an interesting appearance.

"And if I do this, what is the guarantee that no one will overthrow me on the charge of tarnishing the ancestral values and bringing about a new war to bring down the tyrant?" Lucia still had the answers to the questions of the nobles.

And once again the room was made silent by Lucia's reply.

"I don't want to fight or fight with my own family and friends. Therefore, this is the best way I can do to help the kingdom. By providing help to those in need" Lucia spoke and broke the long-established silence. "I hope you understand my role in this situation" he added.

It seems that the nobles still do not accept Lucia's decision. However, they could not reply to Lucia's earlier remark.

"You can find Grevier's brother" Lucia said again, giving an opinion. "Or Alexander. They will be more able to be the answer to your expectations. So once again forgive me" he added before closing the meeting.

Then the nobles returned without bringing any results. It seems that some of them can understand Lucia's decision. But some consider Lucia to be hurt with the kingdom and not care for them all.
