04. Weapon I
A week later at the armament, not far from the furnace room where Val worked. It seems they have completed a weapon device designed by Aksa. And try it.
Next to the atelir there is a piece of fenced land facing the cliff wall. The region was used to test all types of tools that were first made. And in that place also now they want to test the new weapon.
Looks like the usual target board for practicing arrows, placed at the end of the land. Close to the cliff.
A small, thin storage box, opened in front of Aksa and Nata stood up. Inside the chest there are several objects that Aksa calls the gun.
The shape of one of the weapons was not too different from the shape of Loujze's small crossbow. It is made entirely of iron.
It has no bow and bridle. The center of the weapon was replaced with an iron tube connected to a basic mechanical principle. Which makes it spin when a trigger is pulled.
In the iron tube that is no more than the hand, there are 6 cavities filled with pieces of iron along the two segments of the index finger.
While others are similar in shape, it just does not have a hollow iron tube in the middle. Except two closed tubes.
One is made of iron, mounted right on the front under the muzzle of the weapon. The others were made of translucent glass smaller than the iron tube. It is mounted on the top of the weapon.
Seen in the glass tube, dozens of iron balls the size of a third of a finger.
And the latter is still similar in shape, but made of wood material that has two peg-sized iron rods attached to its front muzzle. And the overall shape of the latter weapon, much thicker than the previous two weapons.
"So this time we will introduce new weapons and conduct trials" Nata said.
Everyone seemed very enthusiastic and interested. There are Couran, Haldin, Matyas, Val, Marco, a trio of hunters, Caspian, Helen, Vossler, Jean, Lily, Rafa, and a few groups of Fire Stars who are not on patrol. They stood in groups behind Aksa and Nata.

The weapon looks light and comfortable in the grip. Then Aksa pointed it at the target board far across the land.
Everyone looked seriously at Aksa. Allegedly, how the weapon worked, or what crazy thing else would happen.
After trying her best to aim, Aksa then pulled the trigger. And a thunderous voice rang out at the bottom of the valley to the residence of Dirk and Amithy on the outskirts of the upper Star Alcove.
Everyone was surprised to hear it. And although they did not see anyone coming out of the weapon, but the target board at the end of the land, seemed to leave a large enough hole.
"What was that?" Jean was surprised.
"By, Lurac! Is his voice always that loud?" Loujze also looked surprised.
"really. It can be more dangerous than magic, which can be expected when it will hit us" Cedrik added.
"It's like the weapons of the intruders and the hit men. Weapons we didn't expect" after Axel.

"Is that some kind of magic?" Loujze asked.
"It's not magic, try it" Aksa handed it to Loujze.

"This weapon basically uses gunpowder to shoot iron bullets. Does not use magic, is light, and easy to carry. So everyone can use it" Nata later said.
"Having good speed and attack power, despite being used by a girl who did not have a strong physique" this time Aksa handed the weapon to Rafa.
Rafa looked confident. There was no doubt and fear in receiving the weapon from Aksa. Then he took aim, and then pulled the trigger a few times. And the echoes of the sound of successive explosions from the weapon began to attract the attention of the people above.
Now it looks like the target board was only half.
"It's very scary" said Couran lirih.
"really. Therefore, as much as possible we must keep the knowledge of this weapon not out of this land" Nata responded to Couran's remarks.
"I totally agree with that" replied Couran with a small nod.
"But the weakness of this weapon is that besides we also have to make the bullet, we also have to have a supply of gunpowder so that the weapon can continue to be used. And that gunpowder is pretty hard to come by or make, for now" Nata explained to the others.
Everyone seemed to start talking to each other with friends and people next to him about the weapon.
"We will proceed to the second weapon" said Nata took the attention of others.
