23.5. Antology Story: Aksa III Holiday

"And what is potassium nitrate? What is the name of the part of the bat? Is it to make a totem?" Ask Go again when this time they are already inside the cave. The torch that Go carried seemed to be moving in a red whenever they came across the miners.

"No, miss Elaine. Potassium Nitrate is a chemical compound produced from natural minerals and bat droppings" replied Aksa who this time walked behind Go, because the cave was very busy with miners who went back and forth along the road. Aksa doesn't want to get in the way.

"Bat dung? Is it useful for fertilizing the soil? Some kind of fertilizer?" Tanya Go who began to look disturbed with Aksa who again called by her first name, in a public place.

"Animal waste can indeed be used for fertilizers. But there are more valuable things we can make with this Potassium Nitrate. Things that will revolutionize this world. Change the world" said Aksa with a tone that increasingly heightened intonation.

"And what in the world will bat droppings change?" Go sounds pessimistic.

"We'll use it to make gunpowder. Yup! Firearm technology has been approved!" Nata looked fiery in his words.

"And what is my powder? To make food? Or to build?" Looks Go still does not understand Aksa's words.

"Not Miss Elaine. Not cooking or building. Rather to rival the imba fire magic that exists in this world" Aksa replied still with fiery.

"really? Only with bat droppings could rival fire magic?" Go who was still with an unenthusiastic tone asked confirmed.

"Yes, it's not just bat shit. Still need charcoal and sulfurous rock. Which I think there may be a lot of slopes of the crater of Mount Sekai" replied Aksa who has now begun to decline his speech spirit.

Soon they both reached the end of the cave. In a dome-shaped room with part of the ceiling appears open facing space.

Around him were many more hallway doors, just like the door where Aksa and Go had come. According to Go the hallways were all dead-end. But it was from those passageways that he obtained all the crystal stones earlier. And it would seem to be more if they started digging the hallways.

But Go has not ordered his men to do so. Before he knew what the crystal was for, he would mine the surface only.

Aksa was amazed to see the cave room. He immediately headed down the crowd of bats that hung sleeping. Then he crouched down and began to scrape the floor of the cave with fragments of crystal stones that he found surrounding the place.

"So in addition to the crystal, also mine a dull white crust on the floor and walls of this cave Miss Elaine" said Aksa after confirming the white crust.

"Well if that's what you want. Although I still do not understand what you mean" Go replied later while looking at the behavior of Aksa who began to go to and fro touching everything that is in the dome-shaped place.

At noon when Aksa and Go returned home, it appears that the trio of hunters had also returned to hunting in the Sekai forest. They also prepared lunch.

"Mr Aksa? Tumben once you come here" said Loujze as soon as he saw Aksa's figure entering the house.

"Are you alone? Usually you are with Miss Lily" asked Deuxter who did not see anyone coming with Aksa, other than Go

"Yes. I left this morning without telling Lily. Besides, Lily also has plans to meet with The Wisemen Yllgarian. Want to talk about something. So I can't take it with me either"

"De waismen?" Loujze doesn't know that word.

"That's the chairman of the five Yllgarians" Aksa said later.

"Oh, the Wise?" Loujze just got it.

"Well, your aunt found a treasure" Aksa said cheerfully.

"really? Anybody hoarding treasure in this place?" Ask Loujze suddenly.

"Why do you swallow the words of Lord Aksa? Like not knowing" said Go while getting ready for lunch.

"I mean, your aunt found a crystal stone very useful. Also bat shit" Aksa then explained.

"Indeed kenpa with bat poop?" Huebert asked this time.

"It has. You don't have to ask that. Nor will you understand what Lord Aksa said. The important thing is to see the results. What can Mr. Aksa make of it" Go said later as he began to split the plate into others.

"Oh, right. Your thinking is very practical, Miss Eliane" Aksa said later.

"I told you, don't call me by my first name" Go's voice began to sew again.

Then Aksa took out the paper from behind her jacket. Not rolled, but folded into four parts neatly. Give it to Huebert who is closest to him.

"What is this, Mr Aksa?" Tanya Hueber received the paper. Then open the fold and read the contents.

"Oh, is this a new plan?" Loujze asked after he looked over Huebert's body.

"It's an animal trap. My plan is to have Val make it for you. But not so" explained Aksa while starting her meal.

"Why, Mr Aksa?" Tanya Loujze was curious.

"Oh, is this a trap that will clamp when stepped on?" Deuxter asked after receiving the paper from Huebert. Which only answered a nod by Aksa.

Go appears to signal Deuxter to show the paper.

"Because it's made of iron. And now Sekai Forest is inhabited by the Yllgarians. This trap could be dangerous for them" Nata continued afterwards.

"Oh, right too. This trap can be used to catch bears in the northern forests" Go said after seeing the draft in the paper.

"Yes, you can wear it there. Or when you are in other forests. Ask Val, Marco, or Mr. Haldin to make it. They certainly can. It was a simple plan" added Aksa again

"Thank you, Mr. Aksa" Huebert said later.

"Then after this what will you do Mr Aksa?" Loujze asked in the middle of his meal.

"I wanted to relax on the beach. But I just seem to be a fox. Because I was excited again, so I decided to go to the village where Fla lived, through the cave passage" said Aksa while biting the piece of meat.

"It takes all day to walk Mr. Aksa. Are you sure?" Duexter.

"In the meantime" Aksa seemed to be silently thinking. "What if one of you accompanies me? So if for example we have to spend the night in the wild, at least there are friends who can make me a bonfire" replied Aksa with an encouraging smile.
