Prologue of the Fifth Arc
"So what do you think?" Nata asks Lily and Val after he finishes explaining his plan and Aksa to the two of them.
They were in their tents at the base of the Star Covet, at night upon arrival from the city of Meso.
"May I ask why? And why now?" Lily asked a question before answering.
"And why take down the Urbar kingdom and rule over the Holy Land?" Val adds.
"First, we are already intending to bring down the kingdom that has rulers who are not deaf to their people" Nata began to explain from his seat in front of Lily and Val. "And if such a kingdom takes control of the most influential city in its territory, then bad things will happen. Either for his own people or anyone else" he added.
"Second, because that Holy Land has a considerable amount of influence and time. So mastering it is the most reasonable first step to making a change" Nata continued.
"And why do you suddenly care about something like this? About the southern mainland people's problems, also about making changes" Val asked again.
"Maybe you'll laugh at this. But as you know, we've been doing things half-heartedly. We just play around to fill the time as long as we figure out how we can get back to our world. We're doing more or less everything on our own" Nata started telling stories.
"Then?" Lily asked briefly.
"We feel like we need a purpose while we are in this world. Another goal besides finding a way to return to our world. A line to keep us focused" Nata continued. "If not, we'll do just about anything. And with the science that we have, it could endanger many people" he added later.
"Also because the Oracle didn't give you a grid about what we should have done, we thought we'd set it ourselves. Determining our ninja path" said Aksa suddenly. "And in order to do so, we will begin to interfere in the matters of this world. Trying to increase our potential, which is probably what the Oracle has seen from us. The potential of a hero who will bring prosperity over this world" Aksa added from his desk in front of the laptop.
"And why now?" Lily asked again ignoring Aksa's words.
"Today we've been through a lot. There are also many casualties. I'm not trying to blame myself" Nata lashed out. "But when I realized that I could still make better plans, that's where I felt like I was failing. That's because all this time I only considered building a city on this dead land is a mere game" he replied later.
"Yes, even if it's just our personal perception. And that's not because we're trying to save people, and then make us into the Messiah Complex" Aksa added. "Basically we still don't really care. Only this time, we need a mission. If not, we may turn into the destroyer of this world. It'll bother" he added later.
"Have Nata finished the rest of this explanation, Aks. Your words cannot be understood" Lily said later. Replied with a cynical look from Aksa.
"Therefore we have decided to bring down the kingdom of Urbar and take over the Holy Land" Nata continued.
"Do you not want to use this territory to do so?" Lily sounded curious.
"This plan will have major repercussions for the region. Especially for Lucia. The girl is still immature to see this. What's more to accept the impact" Nata again explained the reason for his decision not to include Lucia.
"We don't want to force him to do this. After all, this area is basically what we built for him. So we don't feel like we have" Nata said.
"I realize that. If so, surely you have made a house like most people in this region, not even keep using a tent like this" said Lily while pointing at the direction of the land.
"Basically we also have no intention of staying in this world for a lifetime. That's also one of the reasons why we didn't build the house" Aksa said.
"But, isn't princess Lucia not going to let you go so easily?" Val asked back.
"Yes, that's obvious. His nature is like that. Therefore we will make a plan for the girl to choose. Between wanting to develop this region, or choosing to let us go" Nata said later. "And if he chooses to let us go, it means we will do it ourselves as I told him before" he added.
"No problem to me" Lily replied as she crossed her arms to her chest.
"I don't think anything you do will change what the Oracle has seen. So we'll always follow you" Val waved.

"Why do we have to make all this in a hurry, Mr Aksa?" Rafa asked as he was asked to help double-check the stack of books the next morning.
"Because there is no time anymore" Aksa replied. "After this I will meet Mr. Couran. You take these books to the printing press. And have Fla double down on at least two copies" he added.
"Are we going again after this? We just arrived yesterday" Rafa looked curious.
"Not us, but me and Nata" Aksa answered still with his head facing the pile of paper on his desk. He seemed to be picking up the paper.
"You two?" Rafa asked again.
"Fourth. Val and Lily" Aksa replied, still not looking at Rafa.
"The four of you? Where are the four of you going? Is there any duty from the princess?" Rafa was still not satisfied with Aksa's short answer.
"We will leave this land" Aksa replied later.
"What?! You want to leave this land?" Rafa looked surprised. "Why? Where are the four of you going?" follow up with a lot of questions.
"Maybe to the south" replied Aksa origin.
"Although now I am a disabled girl, but allow me to keep following you, Mr. Aksa. I promise I won't trouble you" Rafa said later. That made Aksa stop her work and look at Rafa.
"It's not that I don't want you to come along because you've lost your arm. But the truth is, I want you to stay to replace me here" Aksa tried to explain.
"No. I don't want to" said Rafa quickly with a resentful tone.
"Eh, nyolot again"
"I will follow you wherever you both go" Rafa said. His eyes were sharp looking into Aksa's eyes.
Aksa returned the black haired girl's gaze. "You're not deterred what, you've lost an arm like now?" said later.
"No" said Rafa again quickly.
Aksa let out a long sigh "I also doubt that we will be released that easily by Lucia" there was a resigned tone in Aksa's words.
"I also hope Princess Lucia manages to hold you both on this land. But if indeed you both have to go, then I will come" Rafa as if being confirmed.
Aksa looked at Rafa in silence. Then without saying anything Aksa began to put the books on his desk into a sling bag, which then handed it to Rafa. And then he just walked away.
Rafa only smiled a little while hanging the bag on his left shoulder, then walked behind Aksa.
