The Thousand Year Dynasty

The Thousand Year Dynasty
wh-wh. Joan Story: Prologue

Joan seemed to cross her arms and legs on the luxurious looking seat. He still did not quite understand the intent of this man named Xiggaz before him.

"So what do you mean by infiltrating the city on that dead land?" Joan was heard repeating her words. He leaned his body backwards. Not caring about her luxurious noble clothes was scuffed.

It is now in the Dux Tyrion mansion. On the east side. Which is deliberately devoted to the place where Dux Tyrion's men work through the administration of the Raygod Estate.

He's here by Xiggaz's invitation. His friend, and also the head of the Raygod Estate regional government.

"Yes what it sounds like. Infiltrate. You need to get inside the city and spy on what's going on in that place. Like your usual duties" said the charming-faced Narva from where he sat across the room.

Joan waved her long bangs that fell over her eyes. Then hold his body. Her yellow hair that was shed seemed to fall behind her back.

"Aren't you on the wrong target? It's a small town on dead land. What do you want to get out of a city like that?" The girl's eyes narrowed. Throwing a look of disbelief, feeling Xiggaz had played him.

"Don't get me wrong, it's no ordinary town. The city was only standing for maybe a year. But the city managed to take over the crossing as well as the trade route between the southern mainland and the northern mainland" explained Xiggaz who looks earnest.

Joan again narrowed her eyes still in disbelief. It was as if what Xiggaz had just said was sheer nonsense.

"Is that possible? To survive on that land alone, they might struggle half to death" said Joan, who this time moved her legs crossed. "That's dead land, Xig" followed.

"But the truth is like that. That's why I want you to get into the city and find out about them. What kind of power they have, so they can do it" replied Xiggaz who looks not joking.

"really?" I heard Joan still didn't believe it.

"This is the report we know about the city" Xiggaz said, standing up from her seat and handing Joan a roll of paper.

"Oh, they have a trade partnership with Dux at the far north of it? Hm, interesting" said Joan after she read the contents of the scroll.

"And as always, report to me periodically" said Xiggaz who walked not back to his seat, but to the end of the room to pick up two glasses and a bottle of wine.

"Yes, I know. I'll be ready after this. The day after tomorrow I may be heading to the place" Joan replied after receiving a glass of wine from Xiggaz.

"And thank you for your information about the Joren pasuka ambush in Karanis city. Our troops are able to carry out surprise attacks and wipe out their troops" Xiggaz said after he had returned to his seat.

"Thank God" Joan replied with a relieved face. "I think lately the Joren kingdom began to be more aggressive in attacking. Some eastern regions have been successfully controlled. And if this continues, when will this war end?" Imbuh the girl after sipping wine in her glass. Sound concerned.

"Well, I can't believe you can think that wise, Xig" said Joan with a slight amused laugh.

"Who do you think I am? You underestimated me once" Xiggaz replied in disbelief. "But the good news is, Mr. Tyrion has a plan to stop it" he added later.

"Oh, really? In what way?" Joan looked curious.

"Clearly how to win this war. That's the simplest path" Xiggaz said quickly.

"Your answer is very ambiguous, you know that?"

"I mean by mastering the Holy Land and gaining the recognition of the Holy maiden, as a protective kingdom. That way there won't be any more reason to continue this war, will there?" obviously Xiggaz later.

"Oh. By using the name of the Holy maiden? Not a new thought. It's just that until now, no one has ever managed to do it" said Joan who has now returned to her relaxed sitting position.

"It has been eight years that not a few kingdoms have tried and had to retreat because of the direct onslaught of three directions at once. It was something that these three kingdoms could never pass through" Joan continued her assessment.

"That's because the strength of these three kingdoms is just as great" Xiggaz replied quickly.

"What does that mean, mister Tyrion has a plan to make our strength surpass the strength of the other two kingdoms?" Joan immediately cut in guesswork.

"That's right" and Xiggaz only answered briefly

"Well, really? And how is it going? Is this related to some of the Eight Protectors members who yesterday came with some of those vaults?" Joan asked who was starting to look interested. "Is that some kind of secret weapon?" Follows later.

"Oh. You already know that? Is correct. It is our secret weapon to turn this war around" Xiggaz replied with a face that looked full of hope.

"May Mr. Tyrion succeed. And immediately stop this useless war" Joan said later.

"Yes, let's just pray for the best" Xiggaz added.
