10. Mastering Palace
Val seemed to have already turned off the abilities of his mystic blade. Because there are only ordinary soldiers in front of them right now.
Aksa, Nata, Lily, and Val begin to prepare to face about 30 sword-wielding warriors and a female knight before them.
Most likely that female knight was a user of mystic weapons. But even so, Val did not use the ability of his mystic blade.
Because the blade's unique power was useless to deal with mystic weapons that had different ways of using the flow of Souls. It would even hurt Lily.
"Who are you?! How dare you set your dirty feet in this palace" the female knight stepped forward.
Not answering the question, Aksa instead quickly grabbed the long-barreled weapon hanging from his shoulder and started firing it at the feet of everyone in the place.
Aksa pulled the trigger of his weapon without any burden. Because he knew, as long as those soldiers did not die or lose any part of their body, the healers could recover them as they had.
The hail of bullets from Aksa's weapons dropped the dozens of soldiers without a remnant. Even some bullets penetrated and damaged the door leaf in the back of the backwoods.
It seemed that only the female knight was standing. Because it looks like there's some magic protecting him from the bullet.
The female knight was shocked to see what Aksa had just done. Because he did not think that a weapon like a stick was a long-range weapon.
He also did not expect Aksa to carry out the attack, because Aksa did not appear to be refilling bullets and aiming, or not doing a fast if it was a magic wand.
And just like those female knights, Nata, Lily, and Val looked surprised by what Aksa had just done.
"What are you doing, Aks? You surprised me" said Nata then as he rubbed his chest.
"I just want to try how if we attack when the opponent is doing a stale exposition, rich alkaline dialogue in the movie Power Ranger that" Aksa said. "It turned out to be effective" he added later.
"The base of the despicable devil! I'm Guenever, vowing to take your life!" The female knight of Guenever, suddenly disappeared from sight as soon as she finished speaking.
Not yet Aksa had a chance to blink, suddenly the figure of Guenever was in front of him with Val figure with his purple knife deflecting the sword of the female knight, who was about to be released towards Aksa.
Then the sound of two metals clashed. As if he was late. Aksa who was shocked immediately jumped back.
And yet Aksa had time to exhale, suddenly between Val and Guenever appeared the figure of Lily who had pointed her staff to the belly of the female knight. Even before Guenever could finish the war on his left hand.
A magic circle appears at the end of Lily's wand. And ready to be shot.
Seeing this, Guenever immediately jumped back. But Val managed to grab the hand of the female knight, which caused Guenever to be unable to move anywhere.
And as a result the magic in the form of white light from Lily's wand is inevitable. The magic hit Guenever in the stomach and pushed him backwards into the door behind him.
Although Guenever used a magic protector all over his body, but Lily's magic attack from close range managed to penetrate the magic protector.
And now the woman was lying unconscious with an iron protector on her stomach looking charred like she had just been roasted by fire. Although not to destroy it.
"Oh, it's shocking" Aksa took a quick breath while rubbing her chest.
"Can't you see the movement?" Val asked later.
And as soon as they entered the room, it appeared that an old man they knew was sitting on a chair at the end of the room.
"Oh, I never thought it was you guys who were going to attack this palace" said the middle-aged man after seeing four people he knew enter the room. That man is Chris.
"Good night, Mr. Chris. Glad to see you survived the incident in Meso" Nata said hello.
"It's nice to see you all are safe too" Chris replied with a smile.
"It seems we have been lured to come to this place" said Nata after realizing, Chris had deceived him from the position of the real king of Urbar kingdom.
"Then what do you need to come to this palace, lord Nata?" Ask Chris then.
"To meet your king, Mr. Chris. Because it seemed like his subordinates had nothing to talk to" Nata replied as he walked towards a wooden shelf containing many books at the end of the room.
Val and Aksa lift Guenever's body, and take him out of the room. Lily jumped out of the window to check on something.
The room was on the second floor of the tower building on the north side of the palace.
"What are you going to talk to my king, Lord Nata?" Chris again asked trying not to pay attention to what the others were doing.
"Yes, about stopping this war. Just like the talk we had in Meso" Nata answered while taking the books that drew his attention from the wooden shelf.
"By way of attacking the entire territory of this kingdom?" Chris asked again, which made Nata stop staring at the books in his hand and turned to look at Chris.
"Yes, it's all just prevention" Nata replied as he put the books back in his backpack. "Prevention so that no parties intend to blow up the city while we are talking" he continued.
A few minutes later, Lily appeared from the window. Then a small nod towards Nata.
"But speaking of explosions, I remember something" Nata searched. Then she gave Lily a sign. "We're pretty vengeful people" he told Chris.
Then Lily started to lift her magic wand upwards. And after chanting, a magic circle began to appear on the stick.
"It seems uncomfortable to talk in this place, Mr. Chris. Let's move places" Take Nata later.
And once everyone was out of the room, Lily immediately unleashed her magic. It was a pillar of light that shot straight into space. Destroying the rest of the building above the room.
The light from the light pillar had illuminated the entire city. It makes it very easy to see and be noticed by everyone in the city. Especially in the middle of the night.
And once the pillar of light was gone, the north tower was no longer visible. All that was left was the building from the second floor down.
Chris was surprised to see the magic. There are not many magicians who can cast magic with such power. What else is such a rare kind of magic. Light Magic.
Chris immediately guesses Lily is a Sage. And although he tried to argue himself, but a small part of his hunch said that Lily is the legend of White Lightning.
