The Thousand Year Dynasty

The Thousand Year Dynasty
Anthology 4

"What did you say? The queen and her two children escaped?" a woman asked Narva to see a Morra man who had just arrived.

Narva's woman was dressed as a knight. Wearing a thick dark blue long sleeve shirt with a protective plate attached to his chest, shoulders, arms, waist, and legs. Her hair that was not too long was tied back in a ponytail style. The gold color is in line with the color of the stick it carries.

"It seems like the royal family guards who were in the palace managed to escape them through one of the secret roads that existed." A Morra man in clothing similar to the Narva woman replied.

It's just that Morra's man was wearing a more reserved protector than usual. But the most interesting thing was, the man used a dark blue veil that covered half his face. From under the eyes to the chin. The Morra man also carried a silver metal stick, which he placed against the wall not far from where he was sitting.

The two of them were sitting in one of the rooms in the Sefier residence outside the city. Just north of Kotaraja, in a region called Novus.

"Based on the soldiers are not becus. Just doing such a simple task did not work," looks Narva woman changed the position of her legs while sitting rough. Which indicates he is upset. "In that case, we should report to Mr. Sefier immediately" he added later.

"I don't think Mr. Sefier would be happy to hear this." Morra's man replied.

"It's for sure." That Narva woman is starting to look a little worried.

"What's pissing you off like that, Mirinda?" Suddenly a voice came from behind Narva's woman.

"Oh, you're Magna. I have bad news to report to Mr. Sefier" said the woman named Mirinda after finding her partner, Magna, standing at the door.

"And what is it?" Magna was worried after seeing the face and hearing Mirinda's words.

"According to Narshe, the Queen and her two sons managed to escape from the palace" Mirinda replied later.

"What's? Is that true, Nars?" Magna looked surprised then asked Morra the veiled man earlier, to be sure.

"really. Now Voryn's army is on the chase" replied Morra's man Narshe.

"I don't think Mr. Sefier would like to hear this" Magna said.

"Yes, that's what I said, too" Mirinda added. "Where is Mr Sefier now?" tanyanya.

"In his study. But I think you should wait a little while longer. Mr. Sefier is having a meeting with Sterne." Magna answered while sitting on the chair next to Mirinda.

"What did that person think of that would dare to meet Lord Sefier directly after the attack on the royal palace, as it is today?" Mirinda shook her head in disbelief.

"It looks like the man wants to ensure Mr. Sefier's partisanship" Magna replied.

"By coming directly to Lord Sefier's residence like this?" Mirinda started to sew on her own. "Didn't that person think this could raise the suspicions of other families, who might be able to dismantle their secret cooperation?"

"It seems like that was the goal. Strene wants to make a rumor and force Mr. Sefier to immediately announce his partisanship to Voryn and Roxan" Magna explained.

"Ck, you fools" said Mirinda, shaking her head.

"Yes, those fools still think they're doing all this for their own benefit." Magna added with a face that looks concerned.

.

After Sefier's guests left the residence, Magna, Mirinda, and Narshe faced Sefier to his study. There was an Edea in the room.

"So what are you going to report?" sefier asked from the seat behind his desk, when Magna, Mirinda, and Narshe were already sitting on the chair before him.

"Sorry Mr. Sefier, but this time we bring bad news to report" Mirinda said as soon as Sefier stopped speaking.

"And what is it?" ask Sefier again who sounds curious.

"The Queen and her two sons managed to escape from the palace" Mirinda said in a slightly hesitant tone.

Sefier closed his eyes after hearing Mirinda's words. Seemingly trying to contain his anger, Sefier is seen trying to regulate his breathing. Everyone in the room just fell silent waiting for Seithr's man to say.

"Indeed we cannot expect too high to mercenaries and lowly troops to perform a task" Sefier said after several sighs and long sighs. "Is there a chase?" tanyanya.

"Voryn's army is on the chase, Mr. Sefier," Narshe replied quickly.

"They're notoriously good at looking for traces. Maybe while we're talking right now, that troop has managed to capture the Queen and her two sons." Mirinda added.

"Yes, but I doubt they will hand the Queen back to the palace. Because after talking to Strene earlier, it seems that the Voryn family is also preparing a plan if something happens after this attack," Sefier said in response to Mirinda's words earlier.

"Something? You mean with the Roxans?" Mirinda seemed unsure of the meaning of Sefier's words.

"Right, with the Roxans. Because even though they make a coalition, Strene and Dreanor are both ambitious people. And also equally intelligent people," replied Sefier explaining the intent of his previous remarks. "We have to get those two people done before they suspect us" he added.

"Then I will send people to spy on the Voryn family." Soon Magna replied.

"But it's no big deal if the Queen is in Voryn's hands. We can take care of it later," Sefier replied later. "The problem is if the Queen managed to go to the Dead Land area," he added.

"Do we also need to pursue the Queen, Lord Sefier?" This time Narshe asked his opinion.

"no need. Now the main thing we have to do is make sure all of our plans to counterattack go smoothly." Sefier answered.

"But what if the first son tries to find or save the Queen?" Magna asked.

"For Grevier's problem, let me take care of it. He was very obedient to my advice. Now all we need to do is make the outsiders not know about the Queen who ran away" Sefier said later. "Tell Voryn and Roxan to keep a secret about the Queen's escape" she followed with orders.

"Ready, Mr. Sefier. I will immediately inform Voryn and Roxan of this matter" Mirinda said immediately.

"Well then, I have to go to Metana now. I need to get word out about this to Grevier right away."

Two days later at a noble residence on the outskirts of Metana in eastern Kotaraja.

Sefier and Edea are in a co-working space with a short-haired Narva youth with an athletic body and a charming face. They seem to be talking about something very important. Seen from their anxious and serious facial water.

"I'm so sorry for your loss, Mr. Grevier" Sefier told the young Narva.

The young man called Grevier seemed to be pulling his head back. His gaze glared through the ceiling of the room. His body rested on the back of the chair, overlapping a white noble suit with a golden motif draped over it. Then he looks like a long breath. "Are you talking about Alexander and Eden?" tanyanya.

"I have deployed all the troops to quickly clash with Voryn's forces in finding Her Majesty the Queen, Mr Alexander, and also Mr Eden," Sefier replied politely and calmly.

Grevier's small nod still hasn't let go of his gaze from the ceiling of the room. Then he looked like he was breathing long again. "And have you confirmed again that Father actually died in the attack?" ask me again.

"Sorry, Mr. Grevier. But unfortunately Narshe had confirmed his body, while in the palace yesterday," Sefier replied politely.

Grevier lowered his gaze, and stared at the table before him as he exhaled for a long time. "Why won't Father listen to my words? Though all this need not happen if he wants to understand the importance of strengthening the position and getting rid of the families of the bullies," he said later, not for anyone.

"You're right, Mr. Grevier. But now we have reason to get rid of both families, along with the cronies," Sefier replied. "You can make the other noble families aware and see you as a real Elbrasta" he said.

Grevier seemed to be silent. It looks like you are thinking and a little worried.

Looking at Grevier like that, Sefier again spoke, "You better rest first. I know this makes you surprised and sad. We'll continue our meeting tomorrow."

"No need, Sefier. I'm fine" Grevier said suddenly. "I knew that in order to gain strength, I had to make sacrifices. And this is my sacrifice to become the sole leader of the Elder mainland," he continued later.

Sefier was seen smiling faintly then nodding small. "Yes, Mr. Grevier. The journey of a Single King is never easy" he said later.

"I know," Grevier replied quickly. Who then began to lift his shoulders back and straighten his back. "Then how are the preparations for the counter-attack to Kotaraja?" tanyanya.

"Regarding this, you need not worry, Mr. Grevier. Mirinda and Narshe had prepared everything. From the army to the mystical weapons." Sefier replied with a bit of pride. "We just have to wait for the right time to retake the city" he concluded later.

"Goodoo. I can't wait to destroy all of the noble families that are in coalition with the Roxan and Voryn families all the way to their branch families. And make sure that I will get the throne of Elbrasta in full, without having to wait for that ridiculous trial period" Grevier said in a slightly furious tone

"Just calm down, Mr. Grevier. This throne and the whole kingdom will be yours. No. but the whole Elder land will be yours to command" Sefier said, trying to convince Grevier.

"By the way, it looks like your plans for the Lucia region are not going well, Sefier?" grevier then tried to move on from the previous topic. "The region has succeeded in conquering Urbar and the Holy Land, even before I had a chance to occupy the throne" he continued later.

"Sorry, Mr. Grevier. It's all because of my carelessness to choose people to carry out the task," Sefier said quickly while looking down. "But you don't have to worry. I will keep the region busy and will not interfere with the Elbrasta problem until we ourselves will start dealing with them" he added, raising his head.

"I understand, Mr. Grevier. It might be a little late, but after they managed to take over the Holy Land, I immediately sent some people to investigate about the two young men," Sefier replied politely and humbly.

"Better than inaction" Grevier said, sighing. "What are your plans to keep them busy? Obviously now they no longer have opponents in the southern plains," he said later.

"Indeed right. When viewed in terms of strength, not a single kingdom could match them at this time. But it's another when more than one kingdom." Sefier replied with a smile that began to look fluffy on his face.

"Are you sure you can move a lot of kingdoms to invade that territory?" Grevier was seen slipping his eyes looking at Sefier suspiciously.

"You don't have to worry, Mr. Grevier. Basically, all the kingdoms in the southern mainland are now afraid of the region" Sefier said. "And that fear is a compelling reason to do a deed. Even though it was a very aggressive action," he continued with confidence.

Grevier just kept quiet while watching Sefier's face for a long time before starting to speak. "alright. I won't worry, but this time your plan should work.

"Of course, Mr. Grevier. This time I'll step in. I dare guarantee that they will do nothing against this kingdom, until you completely remove all barriers, and hold full power," Sefier replied still brimming with confidence.

"Then do it immediately" Grevier ordered.

Which was immediately answered by Sefier, with a stern remark, "Ready, Sir."

.

"Contact Astos immediately. Ask to send a letter to Tyrion. Tell him that his army is ready" Sefier told Edea, as they walked down the corridor to the exit of Grevier's residence.

"Okay, Mr. Sefier." Edea answered short while still walking behind Sefier.

"And ask Mirinda to make sure that the Lycan and Muggers are ready. They will be sent south" Sefier said again without looking back. In the direction of Edea.

"Okay, Mr. Sefier. I'll be able to tell Mirinda soon." Again, Edea only answered short from behind Sefier.

Three days later, at the residence of Harley, Tyrion's brother in the northern city of Herico. A courier came to deliver a letter to Tyrion.

It looks like an official letter from an important person. Because it looks like a sealed candle is attached to the outside of the envelope. Drawing an eagle gripping an arrow. Coat of arms of the Cedona family. And when Tyrion found out, the letter was from Astos. An Elbrasta noble who was also his close friend.

Tyrion hurriedly opened the letter, when he was back in his room which was locked tightly.

"Finally, it's time for me to take revenge" Tyrion said with a smile, after he finished reading the letter. "It's time...."

After Tyrion finished reading the letter, he wrote many letters and sent them to several people.

-

"So uncle will leave this place soon? Where will uncle go?" tanya Harley, Tyrion's cousin's niece while they were having dinner together, the day after Tyrion received the letter.

"You don't have to worry, Harley. I'm going back south." Tyrion replied after finishing gulping down the drink in the glass in his hand.

"To the south? But the atmosphere in the region is still quite complicated, huh? I heard that King Urbar has just received the death penalty. Is it all right uncle's back there now?" Narva's man with a middle-cut haircut neatly laid out back, really worried about his uncle's safety.

"Don't worry, Harley. I've contacted my men to prepare everything. Anyway I will head to Joren's territory" replied Tyrion trying to appease his cousin's niece. "Many Urbarians fled and were accepted by the kingdom" he continued.

"Is that so? Well if uncle wills it." Harley doesn't plan to hold Tyrion anymore.

"You don't have to worry. I can take care of myself," Tyrion replied quickly.

"alright. If uncle needs help, don't hesitate to contact me. I'll help as much as I can" Harley said later.

"You just calm down. I will definitely call you if I need help," Tyrion replied with a big smile.

-

A day later Tyrion began to look prepared. And just the day after, he left the Harley residence to go to the port city of Saziba which then made the crossing to the southern mainland.

Tyrion's journey took nearly five days and five nights, to arrive at the port city of Dang, the port city of Joren's kingdom.

There were already some people waiting and picking him up as soon as he got off the boat.

"Thank God, you're fine, Mr. Tyrion," said an athletic Narva youth, one of two waiting to pick up Tyrion.

"How are you, Xig?" It looks Tyrion greet behind his favorite men with a smile that expands widely.

"I'm really glad we could meet again, sir," said Xiggaz, looking relieved and overjoyed. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't reply to your question. The news is I'm fine, Mr. Tyrion," he added later.

"It's good that you're okay. I'm also happy to see you again, Xig," Tyrion said, patting Xiggaz on the right shoulder.

.

"I was very surprised and really relieved when I received a letter from you, a few days ago," Xiggaz said later, as they were already inside the horse-drawn carriage.

They plan to go directly to the city of Gan, the border city of Joren kingdom with the kingdom of Durahan. It is a two-day drive from the town of Saziba Pier.

"So where have you been, Mr Tyrion?" asked Xiggaz again who looked excited and curious.

"I hid in the north very carefully so as not to be found. You don't have to worry about it, Xig," Tyrion replied with a smile trying to calm Xiggaz down. "By the way, where are the others now, Xig? Tell me," he added with a question.

"Some people fled to Joren's kingdom, and also to the kingdom of Augra. They asked for protection to their relatives or acquaintances in the territory of those kingdoms," replied Xiggaz. "Joan and some of our other friends are still in Guam" he continued.

"Joan got caught by them?" asked Tyrion who looked curious.

"It's not really caught, either" Xiggaz said hesitantly. "Maybe this will sound strange, sir. But the Dead Land party hired people who were willing to work for them. Don't look at him opponents or friends. Ordinary people or noble families" he added.

"Are they not afraid of betrayal, of hiring former opponents?" Tyrion seemed to be inexhaustible knowing about it.

"I don't know their way of thinking and their plans, sir. Even negating the status of the nobility alone is something that does not make sense" said Xiggaz chimed.

"They are indeed an odd region" Tyrion said after appearing to have given up thinking about the reason for the strange disappearance of the Dead Land. "Then, does Joan now work for them?" tanyanya.

"No, Mr. Tyrion. Joan only takes care of the orphanage in the city of Guam. He will still immediately answer our call," Xiggaz replied trying to explain to Tyrion.

"Yes, I believe Joan won't turn around to betray us." Tyrion replied with a face full of confidence. That followed a small head nod by Xiggaz. The sign is also as I am with Tyrion's words.

.

"Then what are you planning this time, Mr Tyrion? Until you have to go back again to this southern mainland again?" xiggaz asked as they were resting and having dinner in the middle of the vast savannah between the city of Saziba and the city of Gan. They also plan to stay at this place. And then continue the journey the next morning.

"It's clear to demand a reply, Xig. I won't stop until I can take those people down" Tyrion replied after he finished with the last bite of roasted lamb they brought from the town of Saziba before.

"But, aren't they now too strong for us to deal with, sir?" Xiggaz tried to convince Tyrion of this.

"Yes, I know that, Xig. Therefore we will also begin to gather strength to bring them down" Tyrion replied.

"Gathering power? You mean asking for help from the other southern mainland kingdoms?" It seems Xiggaz still looks not entirely sure Tyrion's plan will work.

"really so. Because it is clear that the region will become a threat if we do not immediately drop it. Other kingdoms should also be aware of this. And now it is not too late for other kingdoms to unite to bring down the Dead Land," said Tyrion look enthusiastic in explaining his plan.

"So because of that you gathered the rest of the Great Commanders?" Xiggaz asked again. He seemed to be trying to understand what his Master Tyrion was thinking.

"Yes," Tyrion replied quickly.

"I'm sorry in advance, but would those Great Commander-in-Chief be willing to listen to you, after seeing your previous reputation, Mr Tyrion?" Xiggaz asked to remind Tyrion.

"For this time, I already have my way," Tyrion replied later with a smile that was more like a grin attached to his face.
