28.5. The Fla Side Story Part 6
Two days passed when Fla finally found a way to enter the mayor's residence, after he memorized the rotation of guard time and who were outsiders who often went in and out of the residence.
And it just so happens that today the mayor is having a party for his daughter. So Fla felt it was time.
Fla was already in the back yard of the mayor's residence. He entered with the milkman one of James' acquaintances through the back door.
Afterwards Fla carefully entered the kitchen that looks very busy, then look for the whereabouts of Livia. Unfortunately Fla did not find the figure of Livia after she turned her gaze to all places in the kitchen. By not giving up Fla walked out, towards the area across the backyard of the mayor's residence.
And after Fla was in the area, his eyes immediately stopped by a tiny woman who looked troubled pouring water from a large pot into a pottery jar. Although Fla saw the figure from behind, he was already convinced that it was Livia.
And quickly Fla ran over and helped the girl by holding the big pot.
"Thank you" said the girl who was still focused on pouring water without looking at her helper.
Fla just kept looking at Livia. His heart was beating fast. Happiness was overflowing within him, yet he endured it.
After the pot jars had been filled with water, Livia stroked her breath and wiped the sweat on her forehead with her arms while looking at her helper intending to thank her more appropriately.
"Receive cash.." Livia's voice was immediately choked to find a figure of Fla standing with a smile in front of him.
"Hi, Livia. How are you?" Fla said hello.
"F, Fl-Fla?!" Livia shouted then in surprise.
"Ssttt, don't yell"
"You, you, how did you get here? What the hell happened to you? You're lost in the woods" Livia looks to whack Fla with questions. His face looked serious, looking worried which was more irritated.
"I'm fine Livia, it's a long story"
"You are, I'm grateful you're okay" said Livia, who then approached Fla and began sobbing silently in Fla's chest.
Fla just kept silent while hugging Livia's tiny body that was shaking from the bated cry.

"What did you say?" There was an incredulous response from Livia hearing Fla's story, when they were already behind one of the pillars hiding themselves to have a conversation.
"Yes, James reacted the same way as you did yesterday. But I don't want to explain to you too much detail because there's no time. All I ask of you is: believe me"
"When don't I trust you?" Answer Livia without pause. It makes the feeling of Fla so light and filled with enthusiasm to continue to carry out his duties.
"Well then, in two weeks you'll be ready for everything you need, I'll come get you"
Livia just nodded and then Fla ran slowly across the courtyard and re-assembled with the food deliverymen who were about to exit at the back gate.

A day later Fla managed to get in touch with the hunters in secret, and then provided some information that he had gotten so far.
Then he went back to meet James who was not alone this time. Starting from two days ago there were already three people besides James and Fla who were participating in the secret meeting held after that twilight.
The first was a Morra man who looked muscular. Gills his name, he works for his employer as a freight lifter in the market.
Then a middle-aged Morra man named Socrates. He worked as a steward of horses in one of the noble residences in the city.
And the last one was the young Yllgarian of the Lycan clan. His figure was similar to that of a terrifying werewolf. He lost both his left arm and his left leg. A wooden stick replaced his missing left leg. Even his left ear was cut in half. That lycan is called Luke. He worked as a freight car puller for his employer.
"Last afternoon I met my friend and gave him the information we got. And my friend said that the plan was on schedule" Fla explained.
"According to the news I heard from the people at the market this afternoon, the town and village of this eastern region began to be occupied by the troops of the Arcdux Lugwin. They also say that Arcdux Lugwin is the Oracle's envoy to stop this war" Luke added.
"really. So in two weeks the Arcdux army is coming to attack this city. And we're going to help those troops get into the city, and then we're going to escape from this town" Fla explained later.
"Uncle Otis and some people don't want to get involved with this plan" Gills said.
"This plan is dangerous. But they're not gonna say anything to people, are they?" Fla was worried.
"You mean complain? I don't think Uncle Otis would do that, but I doubt anyone else" Gills replied.
"Well, I hope it doesn't happen until this plan is complete" Socrates later said.
"But they're gonna keep coming us out of this town, right?"
"I don't think so. They won't come with us" replied Gills, to Fla's surprise.
"Why? Do they not want to be free? Don't they want to live a decent life?"
"Not everyone feels the way that we feel Fla, they feel they don't need to be saved" this time James replied.
"Not everyone wants to be saved, I understand that. But is there anything beyond freedom?"
"Not everyone thinks like you. They were though slaves, but some had good masters and did not want to leave their masters. Some have given up, they will not know what to do when they are free. How will they find food? Not everyone has the same mentality as you"
Fla fell silent thinking "you're right" he said later.
