27.5. Joan Story: Anger

"What are you really thinking?!" A tyrannical Narva man with a taper chin and eye bags that made him look exhausted, appeared to be shouting at Tyrion.

Her clothes look very luxurious and shiny. There was a velvety white robe on his shoulders that fell covering the front half of the clothes. A crown-like golden bracelet the size of an adult finger surrounded his head. The man was the king of Urbar kingdom. Gladius Grandland's.

Joan was seen kneeling next to Xiggaz, at the end of the throne room. Like waiting for punishment.

A week after the Pharos side launched a counter-attack and managed to take control of three Estates other than Xin city and Varun city at about the same time.

And three days after the attack on the three Estates, the Pharos sent a letter of claim to the kingdom of Urbar to hand over the person responsible for the attack to their territory. Or they will continue their attack on another Urbar roaming territory.

And the reason Joan and Xiggaz are in the throne now is to accompany their master, Tyrion, who is called before the king of Urbar to take responsibility.

It also appeared in the room, some of the leaders of the Estate who suffered losses. They were there to hold Tyrion accountable.

"You've eliminated most of the mystic weapons we have. And you didn't get any results. Even now they are using such mystical weapons to attack our territory and threaten us like this. That's really embarrassing!" The king looked very angry and disappointed.

Tyrion just silently knelt down while bowing before the king's throne.

"Not to mention almost all the soldiers of this kingdom you sent all to take over the city of Xin which is also still fruitless" the king said again. "How will we stand in the way when other kingdoms attack us from the south and from the west, now? Is it possible that your real goal is to destroy this kingdom from within?!" The tone of the king's words grew higher.

"It's not like that my lord" Tyrion said quickly upon hearing the accusation from the king.

"Shut up! Don't you dare answer!" The king shouted back quickly.

Not only did Tyrion immediately shut up and bend his face back down. But almost all the people in the throne did the same thing because they were afraid to hear the anger of the king.

"Now do the knights and turn yourself over to them" the king tried to regulate his emotions.

"Sorry king. I will take full responsibility for what I have done. But if the majesty follows their demands, then the name of the kingdom of Urbar will be trampled" Tyrion replied that made everyone in the place hold their breath.

The king who seemed to have difficulty holding back his emotions now exploded again. "And who caused it?! You and all your plans to make an attack on the dead land that is what makes the pride of this kingdom in the trampling" said the king with a tone that rose again. "Although you have succeeded in bringing peace to the holy land, it will not erase your guilt this time" added the king again.

Tyrion silently did not make any sound. But from behind, Joan could see that her master's body was shaking slowly. It was something he often saw when Tyrion was holding back his emotions and feeling an enormous amount of anger.

"From today you are removed from your position as my advisor" the king said.

"Give me one more chance, king. I will make amends for all my mistakes" Tyrion said as soon as he heard the king's decision.

"What are you going to do to make amends for this, Tyrion?" The king spoke again. This time he started to calm down a little. Although his tone of voice did not decrease. "They hold the person responsible for this attack. And that's you, Tyrion. And that's how you'll make amends for all your wrongdoing in this kingdom" he added.

"Open king, we still have the power of the Holy Land" Tyrion replied again quickly.

This time it was not only the king who looked furious at Tyrion's answer. There was a snort of ridicule from the other rulers standing behind him.

"Have you blinded ambition, Tyrion?! They show strength that can surpass us. What other power do we have? Twelve mystic weapons alone still could not defeat them. Are you going to suggest looking for more mystical weapons?!" The king tried to answer Tyrion with held back emotions.

The king still tried to be polite and refrain from confronting Tyrion, as the king saw his services to the kingdom. Who had succeeded in capturing the holy land of Nezarad and stopped the long war of the three kingdoms.

"But at least we have to take our strategic territory, king's majesty" Tyrion tried to defend his thinking.

Joan knew that her master was stubborn. But he felt that this time his master had gone too far and was very unreasonable.

And shortly afterwards entered from behind the door behind Tyrion, a middle-aged Narva man in not very conspicuous noble clothes. Joan knew him as an advisor to the king before Tyrion.

Tyrion looked at the man named Chris coming in. His face began to blush. While the room sounded a little boisterous by the whispers of the rulers about the arrival of the former king's adviser.

"Chris will take your place again from now on" the king said in an announcement that made the rulers more fussy. "Now Chris, try to give your opinion if we continue to fight to the dead land" he ordered again.

Chris cleared his throat for a while before starting to say. "So what will happen if we continue this war?" He then began to give an opinion. "First, if we can capture Xin City. Can we guarantee that our trade route with the north can be restored? Even our entire fleet of ships is unable to cope with one of their ships. Not to mention the iron chariot they had, which was able to break through the city gates in a single blow" Chris searched.

"Aren't you thinking? With such power they should not have to send us a warrant. They can directly control our territory one by one without any difficulties" Chris continued. "But they sent the letter. Wh why? Obviously it's because they don't want to go to war with us. The attacks they have been waging all this time are to set an example to other kingdoms, so as not to disturb them again in the future" he added as he walked closer to the rulers standing behind Tyrion.

"So it's clear, no, what will happen if we continue the war on the dead land? They could even survive without the help of other kingdoms. Then what do you think will happen if they attack areas they don't need, just out of annoyance? What will they do to the land?" Chris searched his words while staring at the rulers. "We are attacking other kingdoms because we want to unite this land into one whole kingdom. So obviously we will maintain and maintain the areas that we control. But if not, you can imagine for yourself what will happen" he added as he walked back to the throne of the king.

"We don't want to endure all this. Leave Tyrion to them. He must take full responsibility for this" said one of the leaders of the high-statured Estate.

"True, they will continue to attack and seize our power if we do not answer their demands" followed another ruler who wore clothes that looked small because of his bulging stomach.

"I have always agreed to send soldiers to the center, because I and my Estate feel protected. But now me and my region feel insecure. So I begged the king's majesty to think about ending the war on the dead land" one of the rulers of the Estate with a stout posture and a firm face spoke, pleading with the king.

"You have disturbed the den of wild animals without your knowledge, Tyrion" Joan heard a whisper from one of the rulers who stood not far from where she knelt.

And according to Joan, that phrase has a point. The master was hitting the wasp's nest without realizing that it was a deadly wasp's nest.

"Bad! Chris and those dead men of the land have embarrassed me in front of the king. It's not gonna let me just leave it!" tyrion said after the afternoon he had returned to his residence.

Joan was silent next to Xiggaz.

"Then what did you do after this?" Xiggaz asked Tyrion.

"I'm going north for a while. You take care of everything that's here Xig. And you're Joan, ready for my journey north through the Jouren region" Tyrion said. "But don't get caught by others" he added later.

"Are you running away from this kingdom, Lord Tyrion?" Xiggaz asked to make sure that what he heard was true.

"obvious. I can't be here much longer. The other leaders of the Estate will continue to try to hand me over as a collision so that the people of the dead lands do not invade their territory" Tyrion said without burden. "I can't stop here. I'll ask my acquaintances in the northern mainland for help. And I will definitely avenge this insult to Chris and the people on the land of the dead" he continued later with all justification.

Hearing Tyrion's words, Joan and Xiggaz let out a long sigh. They both realized that their lives after this would never be easy again.

But they have already made the choice to still support sir huh.

"You guys stay here until I get back. Deny and pretend not to know this" Tyrion later said.

"There is no need to worry about the two of us, Mr. Tyrion" Joan said.

"Right, Mr. Tyrion. Joan and I will take care of everything" Xiggaz replied in a tone that sounded resigned.
