The next day they marched back towards the land gate of Pharos. This time it appears the 20 witches are participating along with a hundred warriors and the rest of the cast-iron throwers.
The witches were at the very front of the formation. Standing on four horse-drawn carriages that had no roof, with five witches in each carriage.
Lined across, the witches made a magic shield shaped like a sky-blue glass wall that was high and wide. Protecting almost the entire front of the troops.
They also appear to use Arcane rocks to strengthen the resistance of the protective magic wall.
And when an iron pillar slid from the direction of the gate wall, it was immediately shattered into pieces when it hit the magic protector with a loud voice.
"As far and as powerful as their weapons are, if they are not mystic weapons, they will be mere jokes" tristan sounded scornful from on his horse in the middle of the warrior line when after the iron pillar the opponent was unable to break through the magic wall of his troops.
And their procession continued forward until it came to a position, where the stone thrower was able to reach the wall of the land gate of Pharos.
But they had not yet arrived at the position, something was fired again from the direction of the gate. This time an iron can about the size of two fists.
The cans were fired not at the same speed as the speed of the previous iron milestones. So that the cans just bounce and fall to the ground when they hit the magic wall. Not directly destroyed.
And after the can lay on the ground, black smoke began to billow out of it.
When the troops led by Tristan tried to digest what the opponent meant by attacking them with the smoke filled can earlier, dozens of other cans began to fly towards their magic wall. Over time, the smoke began to cover the entire front of the army.
"What's this smoke? It smelled so bad" one of the soldiers in the front row seemed to be shaking his hand, trying to remove the smoke from his surroundings.
"Oh my eyes are sore. I can't help it anymore" said one of the witches who began to close her eyes with both hands.
The soldiers and magicians who could not stand it, seemed to run away from their positions to avoid the smoke.
"The witches stay in position!" Shouted Tristan from the middle row who had not been exposed to smoke.
"That's impossible, Mr. Tristan" a voice came from inside the black smoke.
And as soon as their magic wall disappeared as the witches who could no longer focus on defending it, slid a few iron milestones smashing into their stone throwing tools. Continuously gliding up to five stone throwers it shattered without a remnant.
The soldier who saw the incident immediately ran in panic here and there. Disorganizing the previous formation of the troops.
-
"All that was a stone thrower that we have" said Gawain who looks angry when for the umpteenth time the troops led by Tristan must return to the camp. Not even had time to touch the Pharos land gate.
"Who would have thought they would use smoke to damage the formation of the troops? We don't have a wind witch" Tristan sounded offended by Gawain's tone.
"Moreover, how could they throw a can filled with smoke at us? Is that smoke? Things we can't keep in a can, right?" Looks Bedivere not out of thought with the thing that just happened it.
"You don't understand, Mr. Bedivere. The ground has so many strange things beyond reason" Joan replied.
"What is magic? And how could they still control it from such a distance?" This time Tristan asked.
"Did they also have mystic weapons?" Bedivere asked Joan.
"That's the only reason. Surely they have mystic weapons and hide them" Tristan said. "We should use mystical weapons as well to fight them" he added later.

The next morning a horseman carried a white flag out of the gate. A messenger.
"There was an emissary coming, Lord Gawain" a soldier reported as the three commanders along with Joan were in the meeting tent discussing other strategies to approach the gate.
"Oh, he's one of the knights who came yesterday with the leader of the dead land" Tristan said as they stood before the encampment gates.
While the messenger seemed to be standing quite far from the camp. In areas still within range of their weapons.
"My arrival just wants to deliver this letter to your master!" Shouted the messenger, who then took out his bow.
And after hooking a scroll of kerta on his arrow, the messenger immediately shot his bow forward upward.
The arrow curvature was sharp in front of the noble knights and Joan stood up.
And without speaking again, the messenger drove his horse back towards the land gate of Pharos.

Two days later, Joan was back in Guam. And not waiting to rest after the long journey, the Narva girl immediately headed to Tyrion's residence to immediately give her report. Also at once delivered a letter from the land of Pharos, which the commanders sent to him.
"How dare they play me!" Tyrion looked very angry after reading the contents of the letter carried by Joan. "How can I deliver this letter to the king?!" Tyrion slammed the scroll onto the table.
Xiggaz seemed to pick up the scroll Tyrion had slammed into. Then start reading the contents.
"They really intend to challenge us" Xiggaz said after reading.
"What's it all about, Xig?" Joan asked, looking curious.
"They warned us to immediately pay the indemnity charges and stop the attack on the south gate, or they will strike us back" Xiggaz replied to Joan's curiosity. "What do you think of their abilities after you saw the battle at the south gate yesterday?" Ask Xiggaz later to Joan.
"If I may be honest, what happened at the south gate was not a battle" replied Joan who seemed to attract not only Xiggaz, but also Tyrion.
"What do you mean?" Tanya Tyrion.
"They're just playing with our troops. They showed strength that they could have eliminated the army easily, but they did not. They just thought our troops were a joke" Joan explained later.
"Is that really so?" Xiggaz seemed to be in disbelief at what Joan had said.
Tyrion looks ready to explode. His face flushed red, and his dyed veins began to look pulsating.
"Send more troops and generals! Show us the power we have now. Give the users mystical weapons. Attack them from all directions!" Tyrion's voice echoed in the room.
