24. Surrender

"If you want to kill us, kill us quickly. Don't say much" Karka said in a sharp tone, trying to avoid dozens of other fireballs that lead to him.
"Well, it's all up to you. You will choose your pride or your life, it's up to you" said the owl, looking indifferent.
"What do you say can be trusted?" Guan suddenly asked to confirm to Yllgarian the owl, after he managed to beat one Gargantuan back.
"Guan? What the hell are you doing? You want to give up on those rotten Yllgarians?" It seemed that Karka could not believe what Guan was currently doing.
"Are your words trustworthy?" Guan repeated his question to the owl Yllgarian, regardless of Karka's words.
"You can hold my word. Because you have proven that you have a strong desire to live" said the Yllgarian owl later.
Guan looked intently at Karka, and then faced Yllgarian toward the owl, saying, "we gave up" Guan realized the three of them would not be able to escape this place alive if they did not give up.
Karka's face seemed to be unacceptable. So did Krios who is now back to consciousness. His appearance also implied a sense of disrespect for Guan's decision. But since their leader had already decided, then they could only obediently follow him.
