"What's really going on?" ask William to Elvina. Now the two of them were inside the kitchen room, far away from where Rei was.
"I don't know exactly what happened either. But, the first time I met him, he didn't recognize me either."
"What's? That means, not just me?"
"Yes. It seems, Rei had amnesia that made his memory of us, disappear."
"Amnesia?" Repeat William. Elvina nodded slowly.
On the other hand, Rei who had been silent since then, could very clearly listen to their conversation. For some reason but his ears could hear their whispers.
Me... amnesia? But, why can? What happened to me until I got amnesia? Rei. He lowered his head, silent questioningly.
"Then what should we do now?" William raised his eyebrows.
"Rei still doubts about us. I wanted to ask him to stay here. We'll help him remember his past, but I'll also find out if he's really amnesiac or not" Elvina said.
"I agree with you."

Joe opened both his eyes. His body still feels weak. But, he could sense that his energy was slowly starting to recover.
The thirst that approached his throat made Joe try to get up to reach for the glass that was on the nightstand near his bed.
The glass suddenly stopped falling. It floated in the air. Joe realized it wasn't him, then turned his focus to the entrance, and found Derek standing there with his hands making gestures as if he could control all the movements of objects around him with just the movement of his hands.
Derek raised both of his fingers that were used to hold the glass down. He lifted his glass and put it back on the table without leaving any fingerprints.
Derek's approaching Joe. His hand back he moved to make a teapot of warm water that he prepared to float and pour the contents into a glass that had almost fallen.
Derek thrust the glass towards Joe who was still lying down. Joe gave him a quick glance before then grabbing the glass and gulping the contents down.
Derek sat on the edge of the bed. His eyes were fixed on the man who was his sister.
"What's really going on?" ask her in a calm voice.
Joe put his glass on the table. "You mean?" Joe asked back.
"I mean, what happened to you until your body was badly injured like this? Are you fighting that woman again? You're still taking orders from the professor to arrest him?"
"That's none of your business. Stop meddling with my business." Joe turned his face the other way. He hated that his brother started asking about this.
"This is certainly my business. You are my brother, and you are the only family I have in this world. If something happens that puts your life in danger, then I won't be able to live my life."
"But, I don't like it when you keep meddling in my affairs. I'm doing this anyway so that the master and the professor don't suspect you. I did this to protect you too."
"no need. I'm not afraid of being punished. Because what I do is the right thing."
