Adventure In The Dark
Tragedy 672 - Are you with Lucia?

...***...

Cato stopped his footsteps as soon as he found that there was no one in the chair where he had left Lucia. The man spread his gaze around, trying to find the three-year-old daughter. "Lussia!"

"Lusia, where are you?" Cato started to panic. The man began to move in search of the girl who suddenly disappeared from his chair. Cato also had time to approach one by one visitors there and asked Lucia. He thought, maybe some of them saw Lucia. But unfortunately, none of the people who passed there saw the girl who was with him.

"Where is he? Why isn't he everywhere?" Cato was really worried for him. But that didn't stop Cato from looking. He kept running from one place to another. Hope to find the girl around the park.

Time passed, and unfortunately Cato could not find Lucia anywhere. He almost gave up looking for the boy, not even a single trace of him could use to find him. Cato had asked more than a dozen people, hoping that any of them would see Lucia for a moment.

It was almost dusk, and Cato was getting tired from continuing to walk to and fro without a clear direction. The search for Lucia really did not produce any results, the edges of which Cato just sat limp with a tired face.

The man took a seat on one of the benches he saw. Cato had intended to call the police and report the incident. But he insisted on trying to search first before actually reporting this incident to the police.

A phone call screen appeared, and the name of his wife Dorothy was listed there. Cato was silent for a moment. What am I supposed to tell him?

After a moment of silence, Cato finally decided to pick up the phone from his wife. He pressed the button, and their phone connection was then connected to each other.

"Halo darling, where are you? Are you and Lucia outside? Our neighbor called to tell us that Joe and Derek were staying home with their bags. He thought Joe and Derek had just come home and nobody was home, so he called me and asked me to come."

"Yes, I'm outside."

"What are you doing? Is there any urgent business until you can't get home sooner? Pity Joe and Derek to wait, and again Lucia. You brought it with you? You should've brought him home, it's time he took a nap." Dorothy spoke softly. The characteristic of the woman who is always trying to stay calm in all situations. Even in a situation like this. Dorothy was trying to understand her husband's situation.

Cato is without a word. He swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. He tried to muster up the courage to tell Dorothy the problem that now befell her.

"Honey.., Lucia's missing." Finally the sentence came out of his mouth.
