Adventure In The Dark
Tragedy 683 - Stupid decision

...***...

Dorothy hugged him so tightly. While the woman who was assigned to carry the corpse was silent with a confused face. They didn't know what to do, until Cato and the others came out of the room and walked up to him.

"Dorothy..." Miles and Martin looked at him. The woman looked up full of emotion. He tried to attack them, but Cato immediately held him back. The man immediately took Dorothy out.

The woman continued to wrangle, crying as she continued to curse Miles and Martin who had killed Lucia. Cato finally took the woman to one of the exits and released her as soon as they arrived at a corner of the street near the stairs.

"You're really mean! You're not human. You're all assholes!" Dorothy swung the knife in her hand right at the neck of the man who was her husband. Cato just kept quiet without resisting, because he knew Dorothy couldn't possibly be able to do that to him. And sure enough, the woman's hand froze in the air. Just before the knife had been pierced into his neck.

Dorothy gripped the knife tightly, crying before dropping it on the floor with Dorothy covering her face with her hands still covered in blood. The woman sobbed. Unable to hold back her tears.

Dorothy drooped and eventually fell down in a sitting position on the floor. Cato again just kept silent and looked at her without the slightest trace of guilt appearing on her face. He just looked at his wife with a feeling of incomprehension. Cato did not understand why Dorothy was crying over Lucia to such an extent, even though they did not have any blood relation to her.

"Stop crying. You have to let it go. After all, everything has happened" Cato said. Dorothy who heard that immediately raised her head.

"That's what you said? You asked me to stop crying and let it all go. You talk as if you don't feel guilty at all. Are you aware of all this? Are you aware that what you're doing is illegal and you've even just killed innocent children! I'm the only one who's witnessed all this feeling guilty. You've gotten me this far, and you don't even feel guilty at all? What the hell is going on with you? I have absolutely no idea why you can change so quickly."

"Everything that happened earlier was a technical mistake, and it wasn't part of the plan. So neither I, Miles nor Martin killed him at all." Dorothy could only remain silent. Her mind seemed empty upon hearing her husband's words just now. It turned out that Cato really did not feel guilty in the slightest.

"You're crazy! You're all completely insane. You don't even feel guilty at all." Dorothy stopped her crying. She wiped her tears and put her knife back in her coat pocket. "I was completely wrong because I had been silent all this time. Though I should have told the authorities all this from the beginning so that you could be stopped. But I turned out to be wrong, I was too stupid to take the decision to shut up. I'm gonna report this to the cops."

"Don't you dare to—"

"And one more thing!" Dorothy cut her words off. Make Cato quiet.
