"Haha..." Martin suddenly laughed in a thunderous voice, making Lucy instantly speechless with a confused face. He did not understand why the man suddenly laughed when it would not be funny at all. It's not even a good time to laugh, his life is in danger and Martin should be scared.
"What are you laughing at?! Are you happy because soon it'll all be over?"
"Not that. But I was laughing at Garmond's words. Before he escaped from the guards, I had a chance to meet him, and he had said that there was a woman who was so strong. The man tries to get Lucy to side with him by provoking the woman, and tries to convince her that they can work together.
Lucy grinned, staring at Martin no less sharply. Staring with the man.
"Coop you said? Do you think I'm stupid? Do you think I didn't know that you were the one who built the bomb and put it under my parents' cars until they were killed? And do you think I don't know that you're the same person who built the bomb to kill my best friend? You think I'm stupid? Nah! I clearly know who you are. You're an asshole who doesn't even deserve to live! And you deserve to die..." Both Lucy's eyes glazed over. His body trembled, but the woman tried to strengthen herself. His hand pressed the thorny bits in his hand which in one fell swoop were ready to strike the man and kill him.
Martin was quite surprised to hear that.
