Elvina opened both her eyes. Blurred, yet as soon as he blinked a few times, his view was finally clear.
Whiter. That's what he saw. Elvina stared at the ceiling where she lay.
Where'sme? Am I dead already? Or am I in the lab? his mind is filled with questions.
Elvina spread her gaze around. He woke up spontaneously so aware he was in a nursery with an intravenous device and oxygen attached to his body.
I... This... I'm in the hospital? Elvina again looked at him. In the next second, he realized that he was in the hospital.
"Elvina." A woman's voice caught his attention. That voice sounded familiar. Elvina turned towards the direction the voice came from. Right in front of the entrance, Indri, his mother stood up while smiling.
"Mama.." Elvina looked at him in tears. Indri walked over to Elvina and hugged her tightly. "I miss mama" muttered Elvina right in her ear. His tears until dripping saw Indri in front of him, clutching his body tightly. For a moment Elvina felt all this was a dream. He tightened his arms repeatedly just to make sure that none of this was a dream, and it turned out to be real.
"Mama's really glad you finally came to your senses." Indri. Her voice was slightly stifled due to her crying.
"I'm really happy to finally see my mom again, I don't think we'll ever see each other again" she said.
Before long, Andre, Elvina's father arrived inside. He rushed over to them as soon as he knew Elvina had regained consciousness.
"Papa.." Elvina hugged her body tightly. Finally, they can be found again as they are now.
After being satisfied to cuddle with both parents, Elvina switched to hug her three younger siblings who she missed.
"Oh yeah, where's William? You guys found William too, right? Papa and Mama found him too, didn't they?" ask Elvina.
"really? Thank goodness.." Elvina smiled wryly. He lowered his head while sighing in relief hearing his sister was fine.
"Ah, right. Rei! How's Rei doing? Has Rei been found?" Elvina turned anxious as soon as she remembered about her cousin.
Indri was silent without a sound, and so was Andre. Both of them lowered their heads with gloomy faces.
"Sir Rei is still unaccounted for, he's still missing until now" explained his third sister.
"What's? Is that true, ma, pa?" Elvina looked at her parents alternately.
"Yes, right, dear," replied Indri. Elvina couldn't believe what she was hearing. What he expected was inversely proportional to what happened. Rei who he thought had returned, was still missing and had not even been found until now.
Rei... Where exactly are you? inner Elvina.
"For now, you better worry about your situation. You just came back after disappearing for days at sea. Let me get a doctor to check on you." Andre went from his place to call the doctor to check on Elvina.
Indri sat on the edge of his bed. His outstretched hand rubbed his daughter's shoulders slowly. "You don't have to worry about Rei. Mama heard, Auntie's been reporting this to the police and they're trying to find Rei." Indri tried to entertain.
"I'm really worried about Rei."
"Rei must be fine. You don't have to worry."
"I'm afraid, what if something happens?"
