Tragedy 196 - Let them go

Rei withdrew William's hand, stomping his foot until it floated in the air.
William choked, he really did not expect what had just happened.
Melinda down there was still petrified in her place. He looked at Rei who was taking William away from there.
One of his men was about to attack Rei and William to stop them, but Melinda held him back quickly.
"Let them go" he said.
"But…"
"You better help him put out the fire." Melinda turned her head towards some of her other men.
Rushing they helped his friend to put out the fire that was still burning his body.
Melinda silently gazed towards the sky where Rai and William disappeared.
"I really didn't expect that it turned out, he was the person Joe meant.." murmured Melinda. The woman slowly raised her lips to form a smile.

William was still speechless with what he had just experienced. For the first time in his life, William felt his name fly.
He used to dream and aspire to become a pilot in order to fly to various parts of the world before then he changed his dream to become a famous soccer athlete. But apparently, he could feel what it was like to fly even once.
Rei and William landed in front of the house. Elvina there was already waiting for them in front of the house.
Elvina hurried up and approached them. He hugs William tightly when he sees Rei saving him.
"I'm also glad to see you're okay, I heard you met Joe."
Elvina broke her embrace. "You're hurt pretty bad. Come on in, let me treat your wound. The wound must be completely clean."
William nodded slowly. They then stepped in with Rei trailing behind him.
Elvina treated William's wounds and made sure they were completely clean so as not to cause infection in their body parts. Although they are evolvers, it does not mean they do not have to worry about the state of their respective bodies.
After finishing dressing the wound with plaster. William tells her what happened to him and shares his experience when he first flew with Rei.
Elvina and Rei listened carefully, they were relieved at least William was not hurt too badly.
"Then what about you? How did you escape Joe?" asked William who then looked at Elvina. He was very curious about what happened to his brother.
Elvina explains what she experienced from the way she first met Joe to what happened to him shortly before he fainted.

Melinda walked down the corridor. Along the way, his brain and mind continued to be filled by Rei's figure and what he had just done.
His efforts to help William made him completely speechless.
Melinda still did not expect that the man she had hit in the park at that time, was the same man Joe meant, and the man who was also the target.
"I really didn't expect that handsome guy to be my target. So, he's what Joe and the professor mean?" Melinda monologue.
He smiled to himself every time he remembered Rei's beautiful figure. His heart pounded every time he remembered Rei's face.
