Tragedy 702 - Quiet Derek

Tiana and Rivanno continued to step down the corridor. They continue to check the room they pass one by one, not infrequently also they sneak so as not to be known by others. They were even repeatedly almost caught when there were some guards who had accidentally passed through the same path as them. But again they managed to face all that and kept going.
After searching for quite a while, they finally stopped in one room that they had not checked at all. It was far from where they came from. It was at the very end of the laboratory. Tiana and Rivanno approached the room. They pushed the door and checked inside. But from the small glass window on the door they saw, they caught the figure of a man talking to a child. It was Martin, and the kid they saw was Derek who now looked so calm.
"He's here" Tiana whispered to Rivanno.
"Good! Now that we know where he is, all we have to do is try to get them out of here."
"I don't think it's going to be easy, there's someone in there. If we break in, it looks like it'll be too risky."
"Yes, you're right. We're hiding there!" Tiana and Rivanno approached one of the rooms not too far away from where they were. The position of the room was exactly in the corner, and the door was at the turn of the corridor, so they could watch from various directions simultaneously.
On the other hand, inside there Martin was as usual visiting Derek. Since coming to the lab, Martin and Miles have somehow become interested in the boy. Especially after they found out that Derek turned out to have a curiosity and knowledge that is quite broad in some ways. Especially for a child his age. What makes them even more happy is because Joe and Derek are one of the many people that they will later make as evolvers as well. Only, they were still waiting for the right moment to change them. Ever since Derek came to his senses, the boy seemed so calm and was trying to adapt to his new surroundings. That's what makes Miles and Martin like him more.
"How about after this we talk again? Uncle has to leave for a while" Martin told him. After chatting for a while, the man finally said goodbye. Derek just smiled while nodding his head.
Martin reached out while rubbing the top of his head slowly and then passed leaving him with Joe who had been just silent in the corner of the room since then. Unlike the case with Derek who looked calm, Joe actually repeatedly shouted and cried. Asking Cato to take her home, Cato ignores her and instead asks others to try to calm the child down. Even Cato asked one of his creepy-looking men to scare him. As a result, the child can only be silent while crying for home.
Not infrequently Derek tried to comfort and calm him. After Martin leaves and the door closes, Derek walks to the bathroom. The boy threw away the little candy that Martin had given him. It's not just ordinary candy. The candy has been mixed with tranquilizers.
