Tragedy 372 - Don't be arrogant!

"Take me off!" Melinda rebelled trying to break free from Andrich who pulled her.
They had just stopped on the other side of the library which was emptier than before. Not many people gathered there.
"What do you want?! Why did you pull me here?" Melinda looked at him questioningly.
"Stop whatever you're gonna do!" andrich.
"What am I going to do?"
"You're going to do something that makes Lucia wretch, right?" guess Andrich who managed to make Melinda stunned to hear it.
"A... What do you mean? I don't get it," he looked up.
"You don't have to dodge because I know everything. You're not a normal human being, are you?"
Melinda was surprised by the words that had just come out of the man's mouth.
"You mean?"
"You don't have to pretend in front of me, because I know you're an evolver." Andrich looked at him sharply.
Melinda was silent without a word, she was really surprised by Andrich's words that turned out to know his true identity.
"K... You know I'm an evolver?" Melinda looked at him with both eyes wide open.
"Yes. I've known everything, I've been following you since."
"How do you know I'm an evolver? I mean, how do you know the name for my people?"
"Because I'm also an evolver."
"What?!" Melinda's shocked not dumbass. "You're an evolver like me?"
"I was assigned by the master to arrest Lucia and watch over Rei."
"Yes. Therefore do not complicate my affairs, my duty is to bring Lucia alive!"
"Why do you want Lucia? What's wrong with that girl? Was he the evolver who escaped?"
"You don't need to know about that. What I want to ask you now, is why you keep trying to disturb Lucia. What are you really doing here? Don't you have another job?"
"Omong empty. I came here because the professor assigned me to arrest Rei."
"Capture Rei?"
"Yes. Because the professor suspects that Rei is an evolver. Therefore I came to arrest Rei and take him to the laboratory to check whether he is really an evolver or not" explained Melinda.
Turns out, not only did master and I think Rei was an evolver, but the professor already knew about this? I must immediately tell this to master, Andrich's mind.
"Because our goals are the same, how about we work together? I got Rei, and you got Lucia." Melinda thrust her hand towards Andrich.
The man silently looked at Melinda's hand to him.
"I don't want to cooperate with someone who's trying to hurt the girl I'm supposed to be looking after." Andrich turned and left Melinda.
Melinda looked up as Andrich's reply completely struck her.
"Hey! Wait, I'm not done talking!" melinda shouted trying to stop Andrich's steps which were now moving towards the exit.
"Of not to be too arrogant, we can work together to catch them both," Melinda said as she moved quickly trying to keep pace with Andrich's move away from his place.
"I won't cooperate with you. Just do your own job. I don't want my work to be interrupted by others" Andrich replied as he stepped up.
"You're really arrogant. We should help each other to achieve our goals" he said. Melinda did not give up until the two of them finally arrived at the library courtyard.
"Wait!" Melinda grabbed Andrich's hand and made her step stop.
