Adventure In The Dark
Tragedy 348 - Garmond

...***...

Bruk!

Garmond's huge body crashed on the floor. Lucy approached. Pulling his hand and twisting it backwards.

Garmond groaned in pain, he rebelled trying to break free. Damn failed. Lucy had already locked her movements in handcuffs that locked her hands.

"Now I will make sure you languish forever behind bars!" Lucy pulls Garmond's body to wake up.

Garmond. He looked at Lucy with a sharp look.

"It's free that you imprison me, because one day I will run away from the guards again and keep trying to kill you until Beatrix's revenge is avenged!" Garmond spoke with great emphasis in every sentence.

"Look! Beatrix deserves all of that. He deserved to die. Because what he did I really can't forgive. He ruined my marriage, took away both my parents, and most importantly, he killed my best friend!" Lucy looked at him sharply.

Garmond laughed so hard that he made Lucy silent with stunned.

"He deserved to die! Elena deserves to die! He's a burden on your team that always hinders your mission…"

Bugh!

Lucy raised a fist towards his face to make Garmond fall down with his nose bleeding. He grimaced with pain.

The two women's eyes glazed over with tears. His hands shook violently with a tightly clenched position trying to hold back the anger that peaked into the crown of his head.

"Once again you say that. I'll make sure you take Beatrix to hell!"

Garmond chuckled in response to his words. He glanced at Lucy through the end of his eyes.

"Then just do it," he said defiantly.

"I'll grant you your request." Lucy got up with her hands raised, pointed her thorny bits snout towards the man's head.

"But always remember this, Lucy! Even if you managed to kill me, that doesn't mean it's all over. Actually, this is just the beginning. One day, you'll lose one of your men again. And you won't be able to see him again. Even if you meet him later, but you won't recognize him at all." Garmond raised the corner of his lips to form a smirk.

"Shut up!" Lucy spontaneously pressed the button on her thorny bits to make the bullet shot out and shot right into her head.

Lucy stood firm, her two beads of blue eyes staring at the lifeless Garmond.

"I won't let any of my men become victims again!" Lucy tried to catch her breath panting.

London, England, at the moment.

2020

Aland waved his hand repeatedly in front of Lucy's face as she remained silent in a thousand languages and did not answer her question at all.

"Lucy!" Aland called her again to make Lucy spontaneously wake up from her daydream.

"uh? Yea?" Lucy jerks.

"Why are you daydreaming? I asked what Garmond said last time?" Aland repeated the question.

"It's not something that matters." Lucy sighed softly. He grabbed his shotglass and gulped down his last drink.

Yoke!

Lucy put the shotglass in her grip onto the table. "That's it. I want to go home, it's late and I'm really tired. You should also go back to the dormitory, don't drink too much."

Aland was silent for a moment, he was a little disappointed because Lucy was reluctant to be frank about the incident a year ago.

"Let me take you home." Aland got up from his seat.

"no need. I can go home by myself."
