Rei felt his breathing getting longer and more tight. Makes it harder to breathe.
"Master.." Amidst the pain, Rei seemed to hear Louis's voice calling out his name.
Faintly, Rei could see the face of Louis who was now looking at him with an anxious look. Tears washed over the man's face.
"Hold on.." Louis tried to strengthen Rei.
"Louis.." Rei fell silent and looked at Rei who was now very worried about him.
"I will help you recover, let me use my strength to heal you.." Louis held onto the wound on Rei's body, trying to use his power to recover Rei.
Unfortunately, Louis's efforts did not pay off. No matter how hard he tried, the wounds on Rei's body simply could not be healed.
"W-what happened to me? Why can't I heal master's wounds?" Louis tried again. But it still didn't work.

"S-I guessed it.." Rei smiled as he endured the pain.
"I thought you were going to leave me like everyone else. B-but.., when my last moments came to a realization. When I see you vaguely, and I repeatedly can't see you…"
"…Actually, you're not missing or leaving. Y-you're always by my side, it's just that I can't see you…"
"…Do you know? Actually your strength is weakened because I'm injured. You won't be able to heal me or help me because I'm starting to lose you from my memory."
"What do you mean, sir?" Louis did not understand.
Rei's tears were washing his face. The man was still trying to endure the pain on his body and persevered. He didn't want to miss the moments that might be his last with Louis.
"Medicine them. The serum they gave me seemed to erase some of my memories. That's why I haven't seen you since. When I try to remember you, I can't remember anything. I can only remember your name…"

Louis hugged Rei tightly. He really couldn't bear to see Rei like this. Louis kept trying to keep Rei from talking about things he didn't want to hear. But Rei still said it.
"I want to ask you something. Think of it as my last request…"
"What does your master want?"
"I want to thank you for being you…"
