Time pass. The sun is moving towards the middle. It was already noon, and Elvina had just finished her work.
"Finally it's done too" muttered Elvina. He leaned his body on the chair of his greatness, stretching his muscles that felt stiff while occasionally massaging the shoulders that felt sore due to sitting too long and staring at his computer screen.
The work that Elvina had to finish today was quite a lot because unfortunately Leon just kept asking Elvina to change the report she made. Asking her to revise everything over and over again to fit her wishes.
And after repeatedly going back and forth to the room of the man who became his superior, in the end Elvina could do her job calmly after Leon was trapped in an important meeting with one of his clients.
Geck! Geck!
Elvina's room door was knocked slowly. Elvina's focus turned toward the sound and found Linda standing at the entrance. Before long the woman moved into her study.
"It's time for a break, let's go to lunch, '" Linda asked as she glanced at the curled clock on her left wrist.
Linda approached Elvina who was sitting there. "Come on. I also happen to have finished my work."
Elvina got up from her seat, tidied up her work desk to make it look neater.
"What if we eat out? I'm tired of constantly eating in the office cafeteria."
"A good idea! It just so happened that I needed some outside air and needed another view to clear my vision," Elvina said, agreeing. He immediately put his phone in his bag and grabbed it. Now they are ready to leave, unfortunately they have not had time to go—someone suddenly appeared in front of them.
"Elvina, the deputy director wants to meet you in his room" said the woman, who is none other than their office colleague.
"Now?" ask Linda.
"Yes, Elvina was waiting for him. He said it was important."
"Huft~" Elvina let out a long sigh, she was sure that something was wrong. His heart said that Leon would make another act to disturb his peace working in his office.
"Then I'm first friends, time off should I make the best use of, see you." The woman leaves Elvina and Linda in her room.
"The commanding officer really sucks. Just look at what he did, he really didn't give me the peace of working here!" Elvina grumbling. He looked up at his best friend with a lethargic look.
"Anyway, he's our superior" Linda said. Elvina lowered her head as she again let out a long sigh.
"You're right" he whispered.
"Sorry, Lin. But it looks like I won't be able to have lunch with you today. Not as long as the warden keeps bothering me with the work he gave me. Damnit damnit! He treated me as if I were a horse that could work hard without getting tired."
"No problem, we can eat together at a later time. You better go now and see the deputy director before he gets emotional and angry because you're late."
"You're right. Then I'll go first." Elvina puts her bag on the table and leaves her room to meet Leon.
