Cato was silent without a word. Every word Miles and Martin had ever spoken in his mind. Fulfill his whole mind. The words of his two comrades somehow really bothered him. Even to make Cato can not focus on the road that is now being passed.
After meeting Miles and Martin, Cato decides to go home. Right after Martin and Miles poisoned his mind with everything they wanted to do if he really wanted to join them. Time passed and night came. Everyone gathered as usual and sat together around the dining table, enjoying the dishes made by Meredith and Dorothy. The dining table was dominated by talk between Dorothy, Meredith and her husband. They talked about many things related to the activities that Meredith and her husband had attended in recent weeks. About how the event got their impression when they could attend it. Their conversation continued to flow like water that never seemed to know where the end was.
Cato may have managed to forget what Martin and Miles said and their crazy request to invite him to join their equally insane project. But just before dinner last night, he had just gotten an incoming message from Martin who was once again trying to persuade him to join. The man even made repeated phone calls to his cell phone number and got him thinking about their conversation.
"Darling?" Dorothy called him slowly. Making a man who is none other than her husband realized from his daydream.
"Ah yes?" Cato replied with a puzzled expression he looked at Dorothy.
"You okay? I've noticed you've been quiet ever since. Is there something you're thinking about, baby?" asked Dorothy in a soft tone. The woman momentarily ignored Meredith and her husband who were still busy chatting while occasionally noticing Lucia who started to ruffle her dinner.
"I-I'm fine..," she said slowly.
"No. I'm sure there's something troubling you, because it's not like you're used to being this quiet."
