"However, Dorothy must be found!"
"What would you do to him if he was found?" ask Miles to the man.
"I'll figure out a way for him to accept the decisions I make and accept all my choices. Surely I also have to make him stop trying to take my children away from me" Cato explained. Miles and Martin were silent as soon as they heard the words, until Martin's attention shifted when he heard the voice coming from his telecosys. The man hurriedly picked up the incoming call, and the phone turned out to be from one of his men whom he ordered to chase after Tiana and Rivanno.
"What's wrong? You guys managed to catch them?" ask Martin as soon as the phone is connected.
"We lost track of them, prof."
"How come? What the hell's been going on?"
"We tried to chase after him, but what happened was that they got into a time capsule and escaped with a time machine. We tried to catch up with them using tracking devices on time machines, but we failed to find them. The signal just vanished and we couldn't find it."
"WHAT?! That means now you can't find them?"
"Yes, prof."
"It looks like they don't know how to drive a time machine. They could have used it wrong and got lost somewhere..." Martin muttered softly.
"Good, prof. We'll be right back." The guard closed their connection. Martin's attention turns back to Miles and Cato in the room.
"What's wrong?"
"other issues. They lost track of Dorothy's friends, and from what they reported, the signal from the time machine disappeared. I have to take care of this."
"Then you better take care of this first" Cato said.
"It's gonna take time. What about Joe and Derek? What should we do with them? There's no way we're going to continue to poke them with sleeping pills, it's going to be very dangerous. Moreover, a continuous dose can make them overdose." Martin switched the conversation. Making Cato remember his two sons who are still in a state of unconsciousness.
Cato was silent watching them. He's desperate to stay with Joe and Derek. Yet he couldn't possibly continue to keep them with him by giving them the dope. Cato did not want his two children to die because of his own actions. While if he let them be like before, they could just try to escape. Just like it almost happened.
"I don't know. Can you please find a solution for me? I can only leave them to you until my problems and Dorothy's are completely resolved. I don't want to until they try to escape again, and try to find Dorothy. But I also don't want to keep them unconscious like this... That would be too risky."
Miles and Martin fell silent, both of them trying to think of the best way they could possibly do to help Cato out of his troubles. They were silent for a moment, until then Martin found an idea that he thought was good and would match what Cato wanted.
"I know how!"
