Tragedy 293 - Blackmailing the man?

"A... What are you doing?" Pricilla asked.
"I'm checking the balance on my account. After that, please take me to the ATM. I had to withdraw some money to stay and buy a plane ticket."
"You checked the account balance through that thing?" Pricilla was curious. For some reason the object in Derek's wrist attracted him, it had never been found anywhere.
"of course. It's called telecosys, a tool to connect with someone and do things related to the digital world. This thing looks like a cell phone, but it's more sophisticated."
"Currently, there can be no such tool. I just heard it. More advanced tools than a cell phone? You trying to trick me?" Pricilla swerved towards him.
"You don't believe it?"
"No!"
Pricilla chose to refocus on the streets in front of her. Meanwhile, Derek returns on his telecosys. He tried to contact Nils again to ask him for help.
"I hope that this time he can be contacted" muttered Derek who then pressed the button that was there until the hologram screen appeared revealing an image of the man who became his friend.
Pricilla was amazed when he saw the tool turned out to be shaped like a tool he had seen in future themed films where they relate to people at a distance with the screen holograms.
"Nils, thank goodness you finally answered." Derek smiled with relief.
"Sorry, I had a meeting. What was? Why'd you call me?"
"I want to ask you for more help." Derek spoke with a slight hesitation. It doesn't feel good to have to ask Nils for help again, moreover, the money he borrowed last time was money with a lot of money that he spent to buy tools and equipment in his laboratory so that his research goes back.
"Look, I'm getting into trouble with the guards. I need money so I can find a safe place to escape from them."
"The problem? What happens until you get into trouble with the guards? Does it have anything to do with Joe?"

Derek turned off his phone connection unilaterally before finally checking his account balance which has now started to increase from the previous value.
Pricilla could only look at what Derek had just done.
He just blackmailed that guy, didn't he?
