Tragedy 587 - A shackling chain

Rei turned to his left and right side. The people he had seen unconscious started floating. They were still breathing, Rei could see the bubbles coming out whenever they tried to hold their breath.
Rei just did not understand why they could still defend themselves even though they were previously dragged with unconscious conditions.
Rei approached the glass of his tube. At least he had to do something for his life. He banged on the glass tube, hoping that with his efforts he could make the glass break and he could get out. Unfortunately the glass had a thickness that he could not doubt. It was definitely a strong tube, and it would be very difficult for him to break.
In the midst of breaking the glass tube, Rei was suddenly startled by something from the bottom.
Rei lowered his head. He rounded his eyes as soon as he saw five chains moving like octopus tentacles. Two of the chains tied his legs, the other two tied his wrists, and the other tied his neck.
Rei tried to rebel. He was trying to fight what was holding him back. But his efforts were in vain.
The chain slowly pulled him towards the bottom, making Rei even more difficult to breathe.
Right in the middle, the weight of the chain did not change anymore. Rei can't do much. Even every time he attempted to swim towards the surface, every time it was also a chain around his neck strangled Rei.
Rei floated in the water. He was still trying to maintain his consciousness. He tried to hold his breath even though his lungs were no longer able to hold his breath.
"We're starting!" Faintly Rei could see the voice of the professor standing in front of the hologram screen there. The man began to get busy along with the Evolabes.
The small hoses began to stick and inject the needles into several areas of his body.
Rei inevitably had to endure the pain. He's really tormented. It was impossible for him to scream or thrash.
After all the hoses were stuck on his body, Rei could slowly feel something entering through the small hose. Something he saw was the same water that was now soaking his body.
Rei felt his body as if it was burning as little by little the water burst in through the syringe that pierced his body. The water fused and moved between his veins.
Along with all that, Rei started to sense something. A reaction that he really never imagined would happen.
His heart suddenly fluttered faster. It feels like it's going to explode. His body temperature increased like someone who was having a severe fever, and furthermore Rei could not feel anything on his body. He felt as if his entire limbs were numb in an instant.
Rei felt like he was starting to lose consciousness. His breathing was already thinning, and his consciousness was completely unable to sustain him anymore.
His gaze started to blur, and Rei could not see everything anymore. It slowly closed.
On the other hand, the professor continued to pay attention to the hologram screen that appeared before him. With some Evolab who continue to observe every vital sign of the body on the evolver in its tube.
