Chequek!

The door opened, Lucy's attention turned to the man who had just arrived.

"Me, where are you from?" ask Lucy.

"I was just about to get some fresh air, but a lot of things happened."

"I mean?"

"Look!" Aland showed off his wet clothes. "A hotel clerk carrying food for guests in the next room accidentally spilled a drink on me. I don't want to be changing clothes."

Aland went to the suitcase and took his clothes in there.

"I told you we'd better get down together." Lucy continued her hair brushing activities. He had just finished his bath and was about to go find their breakfast food.

"Well, did you get any new news from Ethan?" aland asked as he glanced at Lucy sitting there.

"Not yet, he hasn't told me at all."

"so apparently. Now what are we gonna do?"

"For a while, let's look for clues while waiting for information from Ethan."

"All right, it's up to you. You're the chairman anyway." Aland put his hand in and buttoned the shirt he was wearing.

"Let's go find breakfast. I'm hungry."

"Yes, come on." Aland followed Lucy. They stepped out from inside their hotel room, walking down the hotel corridor until arriving in the lobby.

They decided to eat at a restaurant not too far from their hotel.

The two sat at one of the tables and began to enjoy their breakfast, occasionally chatting about their missions and targets that until now they had not managed to find a trace.

"We have come all the way to Indonesia. But what happens is that we lose track of it here" murmured Lucy who then devoured her food.

"Don't blame yourself, I'm wrong anyway" Lucy said.

Lucy's focus shifted to staring out the window where they were sitting. Look at the people passing by around the restaurant where they spent their breakfast.

Lucy was silent, her mind suddenly floating. Looking far into his deepest memories.

Seine River, Paris, France, eighteen years ago.

January 2002

The sky turns orange indicating that the night is soon to come.

The cold air along Paris did not make them disturbed, let alone undo his intention to enjoy their last day together in Paris.

Theodore, a handsome Frenchman with glasses on his face, stopped his car at the Pont de la Concorde bridge. One of the bridges in France that has a beautiful architectural style.

He stepped out of the car along with other family members.

The Seine River will finally be the closing of their togetherness on this last day.

They're approaching the edge of the bridge. Stand facing west. Watching the sun continue to lean, and will soon change its role with the dark night sky.

They stood glued, staring at the flow of the Seine river which was very cold air.

While the parents stand staring at the view of the afternoon, it is different with a pair of small children who are now running on the bridge.

Both of them looked very cheerful, it was clear that the sadness that had originally enveloped them had vanished once they got there.

A few moments ago, they cried together because they had to separate again.
