Tragedy 105 - Vines

"Stop rebelling. It will only hurt you" said one of the guards. Rei did not care and continued to rebel to make his skin more torn, his blood continued to pour out soaking the tree which was now the place hanging as high as half a meter from the ground.
Joe stepped closer towards Rei and stood right in front of him. Rei was silent spontaneously. They were staring at each other.
"You seem to be an evolver, just like us." Joe took out his smirk. "Once again, my men and I hurt you. But, you can still survive."
Rei was silent without responding, his eyes looking at Joe with a sharp look.
"And even now, you can still survive even if you're so badly injured." Joe glanced at Rei's two hands that were bleeding from the arrows that ripped through his skin.
"I told you it's better to come with me. If you listen to me, you won't get hurt this bad. Anyway, no matter how hard you insist on running away, you'll still get caught."
"I won't go with you guys" Rei murmured softly.
"It turns out you're so stubborn even though you've been hurt this badly. No matter how much you insist, we still win." Joe turned to approach the two men who had helped him since.
"Bring him!" her word. The two of them nodded and rushed over to Rei. They pulled Rei down from there forcibly, but they could not pull his body even though one of the evolvers had released his arrow.
"What's this, why can't he come down?" One of the evolvers looked at him with a puzzled look on his face.
"I'll never come with you guys" said Rei again. He closed both his eyes. His hands moved tightly clenched before then opening and moving making gesture grasping the air.
They were wide-eyed at the sight of the vines creeping down his body, moving around his legs and continuing to move until they reached their bodies.
"Aragh!! Help me!" They scream at the same time. Joe turned around, and was taken aback by what he saw. The two remaining men, now entangled by vines that even remember the growth to cover the head.
Joe drunk. He rushed to use his strength to help release them.
Rei opened his eyes with his pupils suddenly turning blue, he looked at Joe with a sharp look. Before long, a blaze appeared and burned his body.
Joe's focus was split once the heat of the fire burned him. He tried to put out the fire that burned his body.
Joe ran, rolling from one place to another. Instead of being extinguished, the flames that were burning his body grew even bigger.
Joe kept screaming in the heat, he continued to make sense in order to extinguish the fire that burned his body.
On the other hand, both of his men pulled the vine's vines until his body hung over a large tree behind Rei.
They were both writhing, rebelling trying to be free. But damn failed.
Amidst all that, suddenly Rei's focus was seized by something. There was a fast moving figure on his left side.
Rei blinked until his pupils returned. He looked towards where the figure seen from the end of his eyes was. But as soon as he turned his head, the figure was nowhere in place. Rei landed with both feet.
